Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grows First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. It's been a busy week. The Red Dragon is growing really well, and they seem to be shooting up really quick. There's no stretch on them so I know they're getting enough light. So far the Red Dragon is definitely one of my favorite strains but I've got a lot more to get through yet lol. I have got some acoustic ducting. WARNING... Acoustic ducting has Fibre glass in it and is a MAJOR IRRITATENT to both skin and eyes and should be done in a well ventilated area with suitable protection. So, I have also switched from pure batmix to a 50/50 split with a good compost. I have done this as I'm not 100% happy with the level of water retention in the batmix, I'm finding it to be too much and I do not want to run into any issues. I would rather the soil drys out then I know exactly when to water. I have also increased the HPS to 400w (from 250w) it is very difficult to give plants too much light. I am spraying the tent whenever I can, with warm(ish) water to increase the humidity for a short while. I will be looking into fiming and LST probably next week to make sure they have a good base. I have also had to transplant the plants into another pot as the roots are growing like crazy at the moment. I also purchased a dimmer plug for the fan, as I don't need it to be on full all the time (it's a 6 inch fan with duel speed but thats far too much for what is needed now. SUNDAY 5/5: Rearranged the gardens..have 17 plants in the 4 x 5 now...yowsa! MONDAY: Plucked some dead leaves and did a trichrome check on the furthest along. She's ready! I'll start flushing her tomorrow or Wednesday.👍 TUESDAY: I observed some white spots(maybe powdery mildew) on a few leaves here and there throughout the garden, so I sprayed them today with Trifecta Crop Cure, a concoction of a bunch of natural plant oils. I already decreased the humidity in the room to 45% with my new 70L dehumidifier, so I think they'll be fine. I'll spray them again tomorrow and the next day, then I'll have to hope that did the trick, because a couple of these hybrids are already in the harvest window. WEDNESDAY: I flushed one of them and watered the rest today and included a bunch of terpinator, bud candy, bembe, and cha ching. It was possibly their last dose of any nutes...but a couple might get one more dose... THURSDAY: Took a couple of photos and tried installing my new Solacure FlowerPower UVB light, but it was dead on arrival.😢..back to the 15.0 reptile UVB lights for now I guess...

Finally everything harvested. We had terribly high humidity combined with warm temperatures, which is why I harvested the top of the plant about 5 days earlier and let the flowers at the bottom ripen a little more. I will update as soon as it is completely dried with a smoke report and dry yield

Electrochemical Reactance is the opposition to alternating current (AC) caused specifically by the temporary storage of energy in electric or magnetic fields, rather than energy being lost as heat. Performed a heavy defoliation. Plants in good health. Used garden wire to get branches into desired positions. For watering and soil mixture check week 6. Started adding BioBizz Bio Bloom according to schedule at the start of Flower.

Starting to fatten up now and things are getting frosty! Still no issues yet so I'm happy! Added a net to try spread things out and allow more light to pass but as you can see I have no fecking clue what I'm doing. Should i trim some more?

23.08.24: I've done considerable defoliation. Also, FBP1 and FBP3 have grown all over the place. The stems are also relatively weaker as they've grown so much. (Photos above). Being as the plants were looking a bit delicate, I added some string and tied the side branches lightly to keep them a bit more compact. Additionally, FBP2 has a considerable amount of buds on the main cola. So I've added a plant stake, and I just tied string around the stake and the main stalk. The humidity has been able to stay under 53%. That's with 3 dehumidifiers. So I'm pretty sure that's about as good as it will probably be. I've had to lower the watering frequency on FBP3, as I overwatered only this plant. and also added too much Nitrogen in. As a result all the leaves are looking droopy. I'm really not sure how this will pan out, as they all still look like they're weeks away from harvest. Anyway, I'll update throughout the week. 25.8.24: I was tending to the garden a majority of the day, and realised that a branch had broken on FBP2. I acted quickly to insert plant stakes, to provide the heavily laden branches additional support. See photos above. The branch was bent or snapped, but still in one piece. I used duct tape to carefully put it back together. Before making a stake for it. Silica, apparently wasn't quite enough to get the FBP2 through the whole way. The flowers are very heavy and dense. I have also given the plants water yesterday with concentrations of the following nutrients, per plant. ● 9ltr of dechlorinated tap water with 6ml of cal-mag, 3ml of Ecothrive Flourish, 6ml of Xpert Nutrients Bloom Booster. I have also added cinnamon top dress after watering, as I have noticed some fungus gnats. I checked the trichomes through one of my loupes yesterday too, and nearly all are still glass like in appearance, with some cloudy here and there. I'm definitely going to have some time left on these girls. I did check the PH if my soil on all plants as I was concerned about nutrient lock out on FBP3. All pots tested out at 7.0 Ph exactly, before and after watering. Thanks for reading my diary 😊
