Week 9 - First Week of Flowering 🌸 The dark period has ended, and these ladies came back into the light fully energized and ready for action! It’s just the first week of flower, and they’re all praying, stretching, and absolutely thriving—filling up every inch of the tent. This grow space is officially packed from wall to wall, with each plant competing for its share of light and showing off some of the biggest, healthiest leaves I’ve seen yet! 🌱 A few strategic plucks here and there have kept airflow smooth and light penetration balanced. Those big leaves? They’re a sign of happy, healthy growth. Large leaves help the plant capture maximum light energy, essential during this stage, especially as they start focusing on developing those flowers. When plants grow huge, vibrant leaves like these, it means they’re well-nourished and content in their environment—a true testament to the well-balanced conditions we’ve got going in the tent! Flowering Parameters 🌡️ Room Environment: • Temperature: 26.7°C • Humidity: 63.3% • CO2: 960 ppm • VPD: 1.29 kPa (prime zone for flowering health!) Lighting: • Light Intensity: 835 PPFD (ideal for boosting flower growth) • Solution: pH 5.96, TDS 460 ppm, temp 21.1°C • Medium: Moisture: 100%, TDS: 520 ppm, Temp: 21.6°C Carbon Filter Installation & Smell Management 🌬️🌱 With the transition to flower, the scent profile is already starting to kick in—crazy for the first week, right? 🌸 To keep everything fresh and under wraps, I’ve set up a carbon filter system. Here’s how it’s working: I’ve connected the filter to my Aerofan, which pulls air directly from the tent. This air is cleaned by the filter and released into the main room, where it then passes through another filter before exiting my space. This dual-filter setup means no scent escapes into the wild, keeping things stealthy and the grow room a peaceful, scent-contained environment. Perfect for anyone concerned about keeping their home free from that telltale aroma! 🕶️🌬️ Enhanced Lighting with Emerson Effect 🌞 This week, I’ve introduced an extra 15 minutes of red light at the beginning and end of each light cycle. Why? Well, this red boost taps into the Emerson effect, enhancing photosynthesis efficiency, especially during the flowering stage. By stimulating a little extra wake-up and wind-down light, we’re mimicking the natural sunrise and sunset experience for these plants, which can help reduce flowering time. Not only does it encourage smoother transitions into day and night, but in theory, it’ll help these ladies finish a bit faster, while giving them a little nudge to build more substantial, quality flowers. 🌇 Nutrient Adjustments 🌱 Now that we’re in flower, I’ve swapped out the Start Booster for P-Boost and TopBooster to specifically support flowering needs. Here’s why: • P-Boost brings in additional phosphorus, vital for energy transfer and cell division as the plant channels more resources into budding sites. • TopBooster supports the flowering phase by improving flower quality and density, helping to build those big, aromatic buds we’re after. All ladies have grown a lot this week again, with the Blue Dream CBD growing at the rate of about 10 inches a week. That's almost a foot and I will admit to being a bit unprepared for this kind of growth rate, especially given that flowering season will not start until about late July... All said everyone seems healthy and happy. UPDATE - Interesting and unexpected development: the ladies (both Trainwrecks) seem to have flipped into flowering. I have no idea how this happened at this time of year. The seeds were not planted under lights, the plants have been sunlight only since they sprouted. Perhaps this explains the crazy growth all plants have been exhibiting. I'm keeping a close eye out on the two others to see if the same happens. Any thoughts?

What is good fellow gardeners, So our jungle tour has come to an end and what can I say, it was a joyful ride in all ways. It had it’s ups and downs like many of my other grows but I still think growing is the best hobby. This last week we let the last two girls ripen completely and at the end of the week we harvested them. This time the drying took place in several stages, which turned out to be a good idea. First we hung them up for 3 days with leaves then trimmed and let them dry again for another 8 days. The scents and aromas were preserved in their perfect state which was the basis for the later smooth smoke experience. After an overall problem-free vegetative stage, there were some minor hiccups during the flowering period. We lost quite a few large flowers due to bud rot. The oscillation function of the fan broke precisely during the last critical period of flowering, which could obviously have contributed to this. There was a slight light leak at the zipper which may have caused stress to the first two plants. That’s why they had to be taken down 2 weeks earlier than the other two. Trichomes were fully milky with a few clear so wasn’t a big issue tho. This two showed similar characteristics in terms of taste and bud structure. A sweet and spicy taste with a hint of chocolate. Buds are dense and rock hard. One pheno turned out deep purple and had a bit slightly burnt sweet fruit cake taste. Buds are solid and rock hard. The last pheno is more spongy yet hard but not really compact. This one has the most sweet and fruity taste with a well balanced high. I would recommend this strain for those who loves fruity varieties. However sometimes can be hard to manage during flowering. Thanks to everyone who joined us for this jungle trip. 01/04/2022- Hello and welcome all been away on some family matter. So today was the last day this girl got watered and will also be the last day she got light as well, she will be cut down Friday morning. The smell has gotten a lot more stronger since flush was started last week Wednesday. Will update before I chop her down.

I ended up running these plants a total of 60 days. Topped each plant 2-3 times. Once flipped to flower the plant does not stretch much. The final product is dense, sticky, frosty buds with a fruit punch and piney gas aroma. Yield for this pheno is above average, but I highly recommend trying to get a top in every trellis hole to get maximum yield. Overall I pulled a little over 3lbs off of 16 plants. Notes: Room size: I'm not sure what to put as grow room size below... room was 8x8x6.7 Gram per watt: Gram per watt per plant doesn't seem to be the best measure in my opinion as it would encourage you to grow fewer plants with longer veg times to get the same yield. Unless I'm missing something? The actual power draw from the wall for each light is = 355watts per 315 LEC x 4 = 1420 watts in Flower. The yield was 1380 grams which makes the total Gram/Watt ration = 0.9718 ***Sorry for the shitty pics... my phone camera is still shit right now and these are all the pics I could get at the moment.

Ela respondeu muito bem ao LST, mas acabei ficando com preguiça de ir melhorando a cada dia, fui viajar e larguei ela. No final ela cresceu em um formato meio estranho, com 2 cones principais até que grandes, mas a parte inferior da planta ficou menor (eu ACHO), posso estar enganado. Minha sensação é que sei começar o LST da maneira correta, mas não sei como preciso guiar depois de uma certa idade da planta. Se tivesse mantido o LST bem feito acho que ela ficaria com o dobro do volume provavelmente. Ela ramificou com facilidade. Não tirei fotos durante um tempo, mas hoje está bonita, com um verde escuro e brilho bastante saudáveis. Ela está com 53 dias.

Topped on D27. Moved into a DIY spaceblanket/cardboard growbox for better climate and light. Got an easy +1.5°C and +5%rh on average through this simple build. No fans, box always open on one side. The box also sits on top of a 40cm subwoofer that runs the bassiest stoner rock 👽 and and even fuzzier doom metal 😈 for an average of 4hours a day to please my ears 😑 and vibrate those roots 😵 Also did a lot of testing with an Apera pH60 this week and put a lot of the nutrients+tapwater+citric acid solution into the reservoir and a bit on the soil. Also I now know how much citric acid I need to bring the pH of my tapwater to 6.5, more than I previously used as my tapwater starts out at 7.5

7th of May Day 59 day 11 of 12/12 4 plants are looking healthy the stretch has started and and the canopy is starting to get a bit dense I may rom I’ve some large fan leaves on day 14 of 12/12 to give better airflow and allow for the lower growth to get more light, I can picture the colas already 😁🍁 ppm still going in at 650 ph 6.5, i top dressed each plant with fish blood and bone mean 3 table spoons to each 3gal pot on day 1 of flower
