TRANSITION DAY 10: This lady is my latest favourite. She is progressing amazingly under the new lights and has now started to flower properly. she has been putting her first bract pistils out since day 5 of flip. This is the fastest i have seen this occur with my grows. She has fought back from the stripping ,prior to flip, and her regrowth is virile and very strong looking. I think she will be in my top 10 of strains to grow. Her response to the quadline style has been excellent and i dont think it has slowed her down at all. She is stretching well and will hopefully be setting herself up for long thick colas. I need to strip out all the lower small bits of growth and maybe a few hopeful mains. her size has limited her possibilities with the space i have i think. I am going to be spacing my girls out a little more and trusting the lights will still give me adequate coverage to the canopies edge. We will see. lol All in all i am enjoying working with this strain so far and imagine a future grow to include a few more. This is more of an equipment gathering project-first grow so I want to keep it simple and budget friendly, I ordered autos for my first grow but Oregon Elite Seeds sent a free gorilla Girl from Sweet Seeds. Super psyched for my first grow! Day1. Soaked seeds for 4 hours in bottled water, used paper towel method with 100% sprouts within 18 hours inside dark tent at 80 degrees (heater and air purifier) and 40% humidity. Hoping to plant directly into prepared soil (6.9 ph currently) in 24 hours. Day 2. Planted Critical OG Kush and Blackberry Autos 1/4 directly into 8 gallon cloth pots (these are the wrong pots-they are wax lined but the pandemic made getting the aeration pots unavailable-I may have to transfer later). Very lightly watered. i prepared my soil mix and had it acclamated to the grow room. I opened the air vents at each end of the grow room and set heat to 78, placed a bowl of water for humidity and started oscillating fan for airflow. Planted Gorilla Girl in a tupperware dish till i can get something more suitable. I really need another light but shipping just isn't working out. Day 4: 1 OG Critical was culled do to lack of progress. Gorilla Girl hs been repotted and looks fine. The Blackberry are much leggier than the others at this point. I'm watering just enough to get to the roots with bottled spring water. Day5 : the girls just woke up-posted pics. 1 light and 6 plants is not ideal. I'm not sure if I should put the strain that is naturally shorter under the light directly or focus on the tall ones getting enough light to not stretch. Comments appreciated. Day 6: Ligthts off after a 20 hour on cycle. I was concerned that my light insn't adequate spacially. I dropped it down to 15 inches above the seedling and got it tropical in the tent. I also used a 6500k 15 watt shop light for added light color and they enjoyed it, except for 1 had a bit of yellow. I will post photos when they wake up to see how they look after this light/heat/water boost for 20 hours. My Gorilla Girl is the only one that isn't above 2 inches. That one was planted deeper (1 inch instead of1/4th like the others. I did have some "seed helmets" so next time I will go a little over 1/4 inch deep. Qweeby's roots grew like a wad instead of down. I've had to readjust her placement twice because the roots act like they want to be on the surface. I'm excited to see them in 4 hours. I may cull one and start a different seed. The Blackberry Kush is stretchy which seems nice for a new grower like me. I am trying to limit the stretch so they match the Critical OG height but they are hearty toddlers. Day 7: Added a 3000w LED off ebay. I didn't account for the rise in heat but it only got up to 84. Raised it from 18" to 20" and got more air flowing through. One plant has a little yellowing from the inside of the main leaves (inside to out) but it's barely there so I'm going to check PH meter and easy watering since yesterday I did water more then I have thus far-so it could be a little root lock from too much water.

10/31: I fed today with one, signal, sweet & sticky, beastie bloomz, and silica. This strain smells really good..kinda exotic, but it's much leafier than anything else in the garden. They could probably have used less N throughout their lives.. 11/4: Fed with one, signal, sweet & sticky, beastie bloomz, silica, and humic acid. They are fattening up well now and starting to show me some trichomes. Very peculiar aroma....can't quite place it...

After 1st big defoliation, Plants took 4 days to recover 100%. Started eating 1 day ago. Guzzled H2O tho. 5 day, early am, plants grew all fan leaves back but smaller. Fuzz and crystals are forming. Maybe 3 weeks if I lucky. Need to stretch. Small buds rn. 4 days after post video and trichome pic taken after defoliation during early flower/mid-flower

April 12th: I wonder... I wonder if Wedding cake has Ice Cream Cake as a parent.... *Quick google search* Nope, turns out, it's a Cherry Pie pheno crossed with Girl Scout Cookies. Well, there goes that hunch. Ice Cream Cake is a 12+ week flowering cultivar, which is why i was wondering, since this current Bubba Cheesecake pheno is Still not ready. No noticeable senescence other than a tiny bit of purple on a few sugar leaves. Wedding Cake usually takes 9-12 weeks, depending on which genetics lab is claiming flowering time. Exodus Cheese takes at least 10 weeks, from the research i've done. Pre-'98 Bubba Kush takes around 9-10 weeks to finish flowering, as well. Now it makes sense! Why my plant is on week 11 and not showing many signs of slowing down yet, that is. She drank a gallon of well water this week. I probably should've watered her again today, but oh well. I'll give her some more water tomorrow, Light intensity is still at 100%. I was hoping to be able to smoke this on 4/20, but you know what they say: Hope in one hand, poop in the other... Either way, i still find myself staring into my bloom room, at this plant. All those curves 😍

This strain is awesome. Had good germination rates. Trained well and filled out. Produced some amazing smelling buds. Was only ruined because another strain in the tent hermed. Otherwise it would have been perfect. So frost. Trichomes growing all over the place. Will be growing this strain in the future and still one of my favorites dispite the failure.

@FAST_BUDS, Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. Kl 10.00. The girls grow like crazy, i have to defoliate about 20 leafs a day. This is the last day of week 4. Added a time laps from germ to week 4.

The BruceBanner3 was nice to grow and we can absolutely her. she produced a lot of buds and brought us a yield of 65g dried. It tastes very delicious, much fruitier than the runtz. Despite a temporary lack of calmag and the wrong ph value, she rewards us with juicy buds You can really taste the terps, we had never smoked anything like it before!

Finally we cut this plant 13 weeks plant, it isn't a 8 weeks plant this is my main complaint about it, the bank should change the information because most of the people select this strains because are "faster".

Oh yeah fungus gnat infestation in my do si dos, spread to my early flowering jack herer’s and I panic chopped my 2 lime daiquiri’s probably 2 weeks early, fuck me!

D29. We're now officially in flower! I can see the beginnings of tiny (purple?) hedgehogs. I adjusted LST wires, tucked some leaves, and for the first time, filled the bottom reservoir since the plant should be mature enough to start drinking from it. (7 liters @ pH 6.2.) ------------------------------ D31. The LST is progressing nicely, and she is slowly getting more expansive. Even the branch from the first node, which I thought was pointless, is doing great, and it looks like it will produce a nice top eventually. I have her one liter of SST @ pH 6.8 with fulvic and humic acid mixed in. DLI bumped up to 42. ------------------------------ D35. We're at the end of the first week of flower, and she is rocking along nicely in the tent. Adjusting LST wires and tucking leaves every day. DLI bumped up to 45. ------------------------------

-------------------------------------------- Week 14 // Dec 4 - Dec 10 -------------------------------------------- - Dec 10th puts us at day 96 from seed and everything is going smoothly for the most part - but they still need to mature a bit more. - i'm definitely seeing the difference in the phenos; one plant going yellow and another is going purple. - Sage #2, the smaller plant, really hasn't shown me any issues and is fading out to purple and still looks great today. - Still running beneficials and enzymes: Microbial mass every two weeks and Orca twice a week and Z9 once a week. ​- Plants are eating and drinking as top off is dropping daily and PPMs dropping as a result. - I'm still alternating Overdrive (15ml) and AN Coco Bloom (10ml) and shooting for a high target of 750ppm each dose. - I'm giving a dose at about the 690ppm mark. The dose brings ppm back up to 750ppm. I've been doing this daily with a top-off bucket with plain RO maintaing the water level. ​- I'm checking trichomes daily, just getting milky now on the calyxes (bracts). But, I'm still not seeing much amber yet and still lots of clear trichomes on the lower growth. - Sage #3 leaves are getting pretty brittle. The RH is way too dry for a rust fungus issue and would have spread by now to the other plant (Sage #2) I'd imagine. I don't know if it was salt build-up or calmag deficiency in early flower with a combination of nute burn, but now I'm leaning toward nutrient burn and CMH light burn even though it was the bigger plant of the two. Sage #2 doesnt have any issues. Balancing the needs of two phenos in RDWC can be challenging. - I'll admit I did push the ppms for a bit of tip burn, but it is weird why the bigger plant would burn if that is the case. - Either way, the upper sugar leaves have on Sage #3 are rusty, breaking off, and brittle on the top of the flowers. I need to figure it out so I can correct it next time. Plenty of PK between overdrive and bloom, calmag really isn't needed in late flower so the deficiency shouldn't have progressed if it was a calcium or magnesium issue in the early flower. - RH is dry enough I'm not too worried about any rot and trying to clean up any dead leaf matter when i see it. - I'm not rushing anything for the sake of harvest, but I do need these plants need to finish up... I'm worried I may in trim jail on Christmas after a 10 day dry. - Expecting to harvest any day, but who knows at this point could be another 10 days until mostly milky and I feel the THC content is optimal. This week made a few oopsies . I gave un-ph’d water to one of the plants “moving to fast” . Started defoliation during this week to attempt to redirect plant energy into establishing a full canopy since flowering has initiated. Whilst defoliating I broke a branch that had to be taped to save it. Humidity went out of whack when I stored 4 prepped 5 gal pots for transplant in the tent sooo I’ve got to buy a dehumidifier bc at one point all my plants fell out in a fit . STILL haven’t filled these pots out, & I’m kinda sure/unsure it’s time to re-amend the soil for flowering. I’m conflicting on waiting until beginning/middle of week 7 so I can flush week 11 & 12 . I think that covers it pretty well Week 5 in the 📚 📕 📖.
