The plant has been really stretching since the 12/12 light switch and the top nodes of each side brach is showing sighs of pre flower so hopefully see more definitive signs of flowering over the next week or 2 I’ve done defoliation of certain fan leafs for maximum light penetration to the canopy

Day 56-63 (Day 57) I might have to fix the light to the roof of the tent so I can get another 3 inches up. The ppfd is just too intense at this height. The node stacking is super tight, I’m seeing some droop on almost every plant and the plants just look stunted. I might have to take out the big shelf I just paid 90$ for and raise the light to get the ppfd level down. This happened my last grow as well. It’s a great light for flowering but sucks ass for veg unless it’s hung 5’ above the canopy. I’ve seen videos of others with the same light and they have to fix it to the roof. The dimming function only works with a master controller I don’t have the money for right now. Pulling bbb #2. I’m seeing very small but clear pollen sacks. It’s also drooping like crazy. The roots don’t look as healthy as some of the other males I pulled earlier. They have a slight brown tinge but still mostly white. I wonder if I accidentally gave top dressed it too many times when I mixed them all up a while ago. I’m going to transplant bbb’s #1, #3, #6 & #7 into my 10 gallon destiny/coco pots lightly water. This is kind of a gamble because 2 of them are not showing definitively. Although I’m about 75% sure they’re fems. If not, I got my two backups. (Day 58) I was reading about symptoms of high PH and I definitely have it indicated by the twisted and stunted growth on top. I’m going to try to water in a full gallon at 5.8 and see if I get a good response. I sprayed the pump nozzle directly into the soil after it was empty to put some oxygen into that big 10g pot. The blackberry I gave the lowered PH water too noticeably responded within a few hours. The clawing has pretty much stopped and it now looks like the healthiest plant in the tent. I’m going to see how it responds over the next few days then try it with my other plants if everything looks good. I’m going to try it with bbb #5 in the 1.7g pot and see if it responds in the same way. I ran a gallon of 5.8 water through 1.7g and got less than a 100ml of runoff which is a little surprising. The runoff measured 1750ppms which seems a little on the high side but isn’t insane for peat based soil. (Day 59) Wow. The plants responded to that little PH adjustment insanely well. #5 isn’t dropping at all and the leaf wrinkles are actually flattening out. It’s starting to look like one of the healthiest plants in the tent. I’m still hoping for #5 to show female. 5 plants would cut my veg time down and give me another opportunity for a keeper pheno. All 4 plants are looking like they’ve already recovered from their transplant. #1 in particular was drooping like crazy yesterday and today it’s bounced back and looking happier than ever. I’m seeing a bit of tip droop on a few plants but they still seem fine I wonder if because my soil is 50% coco I should try watering on the acidic side, around 6.0-6.2 from now on. I’m almost certain that solved all the issues I was having. (Day 62) Plants are all looking really healthy. They all seem to have outgrown the initial light stress actually but node stacking is still really tight and I hope to raise the light up next week sometime. I’m going to drop the humidity to 60% for the rest of veg. These pots are massive and I’m still a little worried about dry downs but they aren’t showing any signs of overwatering or lack of oxygen. BBB#3 is starting to show some weird discoloring like an mag or nitrogen deficiency. Which is weird because it’s freshly transplanted into nitrogen rich soil. Guess I will give it a kelp foliar spray. I’ve been looking for a good organic source of K without an absurd amount of magnesium and sulfur like langbeinite has. I found some 0-0-15 kelp/seaweed extract in soluble crystal form. So from time to time I will water that in at half strength or with compost teas to keep my soil K dominant. (Day 63) I’m still waiting on #6 to show sex. I am shocked it hasn’t shown sex yet. Although it was started a week and a half after the others but still. I’m going to be so pissed if it ends up being a male. I’m taking a gamble but I’m confident it will show female when the time comes. bbb#3 got a little more color back from that foliar spray. Hope that doesn’t get worse because it’s my favorite pheno so far. I will give a N boost in the form of compost tea tomorrow afternoon to both of my tents. I’m starting to utilize the scrog net and boy does it make training way easier. This seems to be a much smarter style of growing for yield and quality. I’m getting tired of these pH fluctuations every time I water. I’ve been eyeballing for the most part and I need a consistent formula. I found the perfect mix to stabilize my RO water and stabilize the pH at 6.2. I moistened the top soil of each plant and will watch for any reactions. Water recipe: 60ml bottled water 2000ml RO water 3ml calmag 2ml microbes

Flower Week 1 Day 0 to 6 - 4/22 to 4/28 Flip week and same day extreme defoliation to encourage top stretch. (flip day was actually 4/24) The defoliation of everything below the bottom two nodes really shows the difference of breakage on these. I'm glad I ran these through to the end as you can see the difference more directly on the same plants rather than 2 separate plants. (although Im sure you can gather the same information that way too) Feed this week was an auto pot reservoir feed at 600ppm total before add-ins. I used 450ppm Veg concentrate mix (recipe week 2) and increased to 150ppm Bloom concentrate mix (recipe week 5). I also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) and ph balance this week was for 5.8 as it will be for the rest of the grow Videos Defoliation before and after Next week I plan to train the stretch and lowest branches for Schwazze defoliation on day 21 of flower. Feed next week will increase to 650ppm and it will be the first reduction of Veg Mix.

01/17/2021 One more week of feeding then water only 01 22/2021 It's Day # 54 of flowering and starting plain water in two days till day 63 last one I took at 50 days and it was good can't wait to compare. 01/24/2021 Day # 56 of flowering and I switched to plain water, at lights on will be in plain water till day #63 at which time I will chop and dry , after 7 days of flushing. I'm curious to see how she depletes her reserves. Ps. I did chop the two tallest buds to dry and test. I'll keep y'all posted.😉

Transitioning to LED this week, going to ease into it. Topped at 21 days. Growing Lost Pearl and Critical Kush (which I plan to push into flower early.

Week 7 did not go too well. I believe I ran into a heat stress issue due to the lights and I also tried some new supplements to add to the res and I ended up with some type of nute lockout.....I think. Anyway, today starts week 3 of flowering and after some more research into nutrient ratios I came up with what you see above. Now I added all of this into 16 gallons of RO water (in the correct sequence) and my EC ended up a little higher than I wanted...1.4. I was looking to stay more around 1.0, but below 1.2 regardless. So I ended up adding 3 more gallons of RO water to the mix and got my numbers looking pretty descent. I was under the assumption ww was on the smaller side of the cannabis world, but this one plant, nicknamed "HULK", seems to be the exception to the rule. Hulk is now 24 inches tall....WITH LST. There is probably another 1.5 feet of branch that is basically horizontal. Well it leaves me in a predicament. I only have 22 inches of light between the 315w CMH and Hulk. The light is as high as it can go in the tent. Well I am going to keep an eye on these girls and hopefully we will see some improvement in growth. Last week pretty much stalled. Well I will check back in and let you know how it's going. Until then just keep it growing. Jan 16 update: wow, the Hulk just keeps going 😳. The runt is still giving me issues. It looks like heat stress but not from the lights. Thinking a vpd issue. Got a thermal temp gun so I am watching for that now. Also got me a wireless camera set up now. So I can check on the girls whenever and wherever I am. Love it.

Great strain. Will post more pictures as it cures and update the smoke report :) Going to aim for a 30 day cure and I’ll post how it looks

🇺🇸 Week 9 of Growth – Mother Gorilla 🇺🇸 Hey everyone, we’re back for Week 9 of growth for the Mother Gorilla from Royal Queen Seeds. This week wasn’t great—the plant struggled to recover after the defoliation. I had major pH fluctuations all week, which really slowed down growth. Now at Week 9, I really want to switch to flowering, but the plant isn’t developing well enough. For the past three weeks, things haven’t been going smoothly, and it’s frustrating. This morning, after returning from the weekend, pH had risen to 6.4, which is way too high for hydro at this stage. So I flushed the reservoir and started fresh with a new, properly adjusted nutrient solution. I kept all the nutrients the same, and all other parameters remain unchanged. Now, my main focus this week is keeping the nutrient solution stable so the plant can resume healthy growth. Nothing else to report—just pH fluctuations and slowed growth. The plant really needs to regain strength before flowering, or it’ll be a problem. See you next week! ⸻ 🇫🇷 Semaine 9 de Croissance – Mother Gorilla 🇫🇷 Salut tout le monde, on est de retour pour la semaine 9 de croissance de la Mother Gorilla de chez Royal Queen Seeds. Cette semaine n’a pas été top, la plante a eu du mal à récupérer après la défoliation. J’ai eu de grosses fluctuations de pH toute la semaine, ce qui a ralenti la croissance. On est à 9 semaines de croissance, et j’aimerais vraiment passer en floraison, mais la plante ne se développe pas assez bien. Ça fait trois semaines que ça ne se passe pas comme prévu, et c’est frustrant. Ce matin, en rentrant du week-end, le pH était monté à 6,4, ce qui est bien trop élevé pour l’hydro à ce stade. J’ai donc vidé la soupe et préparé une nouvelle solution nutritive ajustée. J’ai gardé les mêmes nutriments, et toutes les constantes restent inchangées. Cette semaine, mon objectif est de stabiliser la solution nutritive pour que la plante puisse reprendre une bonne croissance. Rien d’autre à signaler, à part les fluctuations de pH et le ralentissement. Elle doit vraiment reprendre de la vigueur avant la floraison, sinon ça risque d’être compliqué. Had a bit of nute burn and potassium deficiency had to increase potassium to balance it out.....other than that she is doing well....u know it's getting closer to the end the stem along with the branches are showing there purple genetics
