The #2 plant continues to be ahead of the other two, and is really frosting up nicely. The #2 and #3 plants look pretty crappy, and after examining some other plants in the tent I've got a good idea of the issue. The fabric pots that the plants are in are supposed to 'air prune' the roots, preventing them from growing outside of the pot, and instead growing a large mass inside of the pot. I pulled one of the pots from its bucket and it was disgusting, with rotting clumps of roots in the bottom of the bucket along with some nasty looking brown slime. The fabric pot also had roots growing out of it, along with that brown slime across the bottom of the pot...ugh! 12/1- Tomorrow I'll be doing another drain/clean/fill of the reservoir, after which I'll add Plagron Cocos 'A' & 'B' along with Green Sensation and Royal Rush. After adding the nutrients I'll ph the solution to 5.6-5.8 @ 70℉. 12/3- Yesterday I did the drain/fill and continue to have the Plagron nutrient level at 800ppm. The #3 plant continues to struggle, but nevertheless is flowering away and actually has pretty decent trichome production, which I wonder if the stress she's experiencing has an affect on either positively or negatively. 12/5- There is four weeks of flowering for the Strawberry Gorilla's. Although they sure could look a whole lot better, they for sure could look way worse. Solid week. Very fast growth despite topping. Amped up the light a little bit and will begin some LST soon to try and spread the plants horizontally. Updates as we go. -8/10/2021 - Did some LST, HST and a little cleanup of some lower crap that wasn't too promising.

Just finished week 11, and the time has come! Two of the three ladies were harvested on Monday of this week, the last one is still holding on. Posted some pictures of my homemade odor controlled dry box, the thing works great! Hardly any odors escape when the box is closed up, running a humidifier and drying in the basement has given me a solid 55-65% RH and a comfortable 64-70 degrees fahrenheit for a beautiful slow dry. Once the last one is harvested I will Get her hung up and have updated posts And pictures on harvesting/drying and a final end product. Stay tuned!

I'll report back with weight post dry and trim. Extremely high hopes for this strain, grew basically perfect start to finish. The one additional comment I have is on the wicking self watering base from AC Infinity I used. It did really well at keeping the soil damp, but not wet. Not sure if there will ever be issues with root rot, but I was careful to let the reservoir empty between waterings. The one downside to it is once it's set, you can't really move the pot at all without messing up the wicking ropes. Pros vastly outweigh the con though as you can leave it several days with a full reservoir.

Last week we noticed one of the ladies had begun to show sex. A couple calyxes with barely visible white hairs coming out of them. Seeing as there's no electricity where the garden is located we opted for a 1500 lumen LED lantern, that we turn on at 11:pm every night for about 40 minutes to and hour. This seemed to have done the trick as no more hairs have been seen and the vegging process is back on track.

Hey all! Reminder: MIDDLE PLANT IS GSC #1. BOTTOM LEFT PLANT IS GSC #2. (Bottom right is mystery seed, two in the back are FastBuds Gelato. This diary is only focusing on the GSC plants). WOW wow WOW. I just cannot believe the rate of growth this past week. The girls have just EXPLODED with growth! These girls are definitely turning out to be waaaaay bigger than my last grow of GSC. The big fabric pots are amazing. Unfortunately, half-way through the past week I noticed yellow tips on the leaves. I have been using organic nutrients, but have not given the girls plain water in between any of the feedings. I've been feeding with nutes mostly once a week, but sometimes twice. I think this is definitely a sign of nute burn. So, yesterday, I flushed the plants out twice with plain PH'd water. I hope that has stopped the nute burn in its tracks. The bud sites are just starting to form. The LST that I did seems to be definitely worth it - top bud sites everywhere!! I cannot wait to start seeing some buds bulking up! Day 42. Frost levels have turned up. Smells as well. Slowly swelling. Hit them with a small dose of bud booster and sticky bandit. Probably the last will be this week before I let them finish out. Hairs are turning orange but still some white hairs.

Week 8 Flower Last full week of flush (plus a couple days). She was taken down on Day 58 Flower after she'd faded enough. Most of her fans had died off and been plucked. I always cut them down approx half hour before the light is due to turn on. This is so the chlorophyll production is at its minimum, giving you the best flavour and smoke. She's a stunning girl with fat juicy fruity cola's! 🍇🍓 Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺
