4/10 Hey all. So I obviously slacked off on keeping a journal. Easier said than done when life gets busy. This is for anyone who took a passing interest in this plant because this was a relatively new strain from In-house.When I last left, I was reporting yellowing in the plant and general sadness in how she looked. Long story short, I think it was the enviornment it struggled with. I ended up switching it to my "warmer" tent that was closer to the space heater. It ended up growing more when I did this. That being said, it never seemed to fully recover. I ended up flipping to 12/12 (not recommended if you have a struggling plant) only because I was starting to run out of space. Fortunately for me, it seems like the plant has never been healthier. The buds are coming in nicely thus far and smell great. I think spring came just in time for her. The tent now routinely gets up to about 75-77 degrees F instead of the balmy 72-69 F I was dealing with months ago. Regardless, this journal WILL have a happy ending. Happy growing everyone.

Well they got fox farms first dose of heavy feed concentration and exploded in growth! Following fox farms dosage chart is working well so far! As well as spider farmers light chart.

I started germination of 2 Jack F1 beans on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cubes with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plugs were just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made holes. Than I sowed my beans into the holes. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the holes in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plugs into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see some sprouts. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plugs planted into some 1 gallon pots. Plus get these ladies situated into their new home. Cant wait! Just some background information on my last run with the Jack f1. It was relatively strong during veg. But was middle of the pack in size after the 6 weeks of vegetative growth. After the flower stretch she became the largest quick! With a enormous stretch rate of 300%... Yes she tripled in size. Forcing me too super crop her which she didnt like at all. Setting her back and definitely hurting her all around yeild. Despite the staggering, unexpected stretch amount. Leading to the stress inducing supercropping. She still pulled off immaculate bud structre, density, and trichome production. She just took much longer than she should have... and didnt pack on the whopper size buds I'd expect out of these genetics. Definitely learned alot out of my first go. So I'm amped for the second run with this variety. This time around I'm going to anticipate the stretch and cut veg time shorter. To roughly 4 weeks or 1 ft in height. Also utilize a bit of very light lst to their side branching to open them up a little bit. Without stressing them out... well hopefully.

Thc bomb is coming towards the end soon. Trichromes are starting to turn, but still early. The bud is still putting on weight so likely will feed this week and reassess thru the week. Experiencing a few minor sign from giving a low dose of nitrogen. That is ok the plant has a lot of stored energy. Plus it is close to done. I was going to chop these beautiful frosty sweet smelling girls down today but after getting in on the trichomes I've decided to go another week to get some more milky and ambers. They are now in full purple dress all leaf is now a dark purple almost black and it's also started to form up on the flowers too. The light is running at 100% and the girls all love it. SP3000 is just so good to me. I want another one just incase anyone from Mars hydro stops by.. I purchased this one myself and I am ready to run a second as an array so come on Mars hydro... The buds are denser and much more frosty. The smell is stronger and in general the plants feel more resilient.. Starting week 1 of flower on this Bruce Banner Auto from FastBuds! She has been a pleasure to grow so far! Had some minor issues dialing in her water amounts last week but she is starting to look better. Im sure last week put a hurting on growth rate but she will still produce nicely. More updates soon! Day 45 she is starting to perk up more and finally stretching out some! Still monitoring her situation closely though as she does have some slight yellowing around the edges but it may of just been watering issues. She is also incredibly compact and bushy right now. In about a week or so after stretching I'm gonna have to defoliate and open her up some most likely. Day 47 she is looking better yet! She is really showing signs of perking up fully and bouncing back! She definitely took a beating with these water issues but I think I got her figured out now. We increased airflow around her pot even more so she can dry out better. I suspect the bottom of her pot was staying too wet for daily watering causing issues. Now she seems to be drying out quicker and looking much happier. Day 48 we removed some dead and dying leaves that she had on her lowers. Looking nice and perky today and starting to stretch out a lot more.

Almost there- chop day for the rainbow forest! 🌈✂️ After 77 days, the plants have reached that perfect 10% amber / 90% milky trichome ratio I was aiming for. I accidentally gave the babies a drink mixed with a shot of dehumidifier chemicals. I mean, there’s stiff learning curves being a first time grower but that is just thick as pig shit territory. It only dawned on me the next day and I rapidly flushed. Think the orange bud is looking a little healthier, but they are both hanging in there. Chemicalicious.

Final week for the blue dream The fade came fast i didnt even flush Its a small plant but thet yield will be great, i grew her in soil to see if i could fit 9 in my 4x4 and the answer is yes
