FastBuds - Forbidden Runtz Showdown We started another grow. This time we are going to start off with 2 sets of two auto's, after which we will start in three regulars right away. So we will double use the 18-hour schedule and try to save power that way. In addition to this challenge, we are going to do a Runtz Showdown between two respected breeders with comparable strains. Some of the basics are coming together. Lights have been gradually raised by 5-10% every day except the last 2 days. By the end of week 2 flower they will be 100% and will stay there until last week of flower. Temp is 80 degrees, humidity is 60% and will also stay that way until the last 10 days of flower. I will go another week of tucking branches under the net to try and let the last plant reach the net. It’s just not stretching like the others. I need at least a week of stretch with vertical growth, so my smallest plant needs to catch up. There has to be 300+ tops in this 4x12 area. Every single node was topped 7-10 days before flower. Each branch has multiple nodes now. Between day 14-25 everything under the net will be removed. Clones were taken of every plant for a hopeful keeper pheno. Gonna try the whole “mother plant full clone run” for the next grow. By the end of week 2 parameters will be 1500ppm co2 1200-1500 ppfd 80 degrees 60% humidity Thanks for all the support and see you next week.

Started LST on both girls don’t think i did it right it begin with lol. This is when i noticed the burnt tips of the ladies. This was a scary moment for any new grower. Freakin suckedddd

The end is in sight, the trichomes are getting milky. Gave them a good shot of Cannazym and Canna boost last watering to help the ripening process. Kind of a first flush to help enzyms digest the build up in the soil. Next 2 Waterings gonna be just RO water followed by a flush with Canna flush:)

Crescimento enorme nesta última semana! Talvez esteja um pouco mais fina do que pretendido mas pode ter sido de a ventoinha começar a trabalhar apenas na terceira semana. Não sei se se encontra já na floração visto terem aparecido já uns quantos pistilos mas ela não pára de crescer!!! 🤔🤔 Será que devo considerar que já está na floração? E trocar a dosagem dos ferts? Help pls!!!

Gran experiencia como siempre Contento con el resultado y con ganas de seguir probando y experimentando en este gran mundo. Cultivo facil de inicio pero que a finales por culpa de una plaga que no supe tratar a tiempo y sus consecuentes caos en esas dos semanas ... Fueron en la 4 y en la 5 semana , y desde ahí , pàrecio que cause unas carencias que ya se lastraron hasta el final del cultivo ... Aun así , en mojado pudimos sacar , nada mas que 530 gramos , y que ya luego en seco antes de pasarlas a los botes el peso total fue de unos 190 gramos de flor seca y ya lista para ir curando..

All 3 plants cut and just Ozz remaining to dry and trim. Terrible outcome for #4 as I had to throw more than half of the plant away due to bud rots. I’m still really confused about what happened: the day before harvest I noticed and removed 3 bud rots from the plant - so far so good. All remaining buds were fine, but when trimming I realised every single top was maroon-ish at the base and I could clearly see a start of mold when opening some of them. Although I could clearly confirm what it was with a 30x lens, the white spots were extremely scarce and small (less than 1x1mm each time). It doesn’t seem really coherent with how it should have spread. Nonetheless, I didn’t take risk and threw away any bud where I could identify white mold with the lens, and put aside the ones where I had a doubt in pop corns (the “7g maybe”, cf below) to track the evolution. A quick summary of the harvest so far, will edit when I have some time: - Dorel: 250g wet, 37g dry / 17g trim (54g total) - #4: 450g wet, 33g dry / 7g maybe / 29g trim (62-69g total) + a lot thrown away due to bud rots - Ozz: only weighted the two bigger canopie I cut, 162g+142g≈300g wet. It represents around half of the whole plant (probably less, but stem included), so around 5-600g wet total.

3rd week of flowering looking great . No deficiencies , no pH problems. Did some defoliation and strategic leaf removal to let more light hit the buds.

May 12th 14th - most of the plants were watered with Nute Tea ** unsolicited… the vivosun e6 clip-on is an awesome small fan. Wonderfully made/finished and a super efficient tool for the tent. A No-Brainer of a purchase now that I see it work! 16th - she’s hit with a bit of a nitrogen deficiency and that changing. Coffee grounds mixed into surface, Worm Casting Tea for Dinner… - a few plants in the tent are showing it. All Purpose Fert 4-4-4 must be running low… - Will add half-dose of Granular Veg Fert (gaia green) to liquid dinner 17th - fed and Looking Good 👀 18th - last day of the week, back on track. 19th - found a big set of Nuts on the Afghan… we’ll have to try this one again ! Sorry Seedsman!

The plant is thriving as it enters its 11th week of flowering. The buds have developed beautifully, and they’re giving off a sweet, lemony aroma that fills the grow space. It’s a scent that’s both refreshing and promising, making me excited for the final product. At this stage, everything looks great, and I’ve decided to start flushing the plant with clear water only. This should help remove any residual nutrients and ensure a smoother, cleaner smoke. I’m planning to continue flushing for the next one to two weeks before harvesting. I’m really looking forward to seeing how this plant turns out. The buds are dense and sticky, and if the smell is any indication, the end result should be amazing. Can’t wait to see how she finishes!

They are all over the place, yet the pH was basically the same. I’m going to let these girls dry out for 5 days this time and try again on the readings. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Week 4, Day 28 - FLOWER: 05/22/2021 Had a curve ball thrown at me today. I came into the grow room this morning around 9 a.m. and realized that my grow lights were still on, which set off an alarm in my head becauseI have my lights set to turn on at 5 p.m. and go off at 5 a.m. Though, I quickly found the cause of the lights not going off at their regular time. The switch on my timer had somehow flipped from "Timer On" to "Outlet On" at some point within the past day, without me realizing, so the lights remained on past their normal "bedtime". I can only conclude that the switch got bumped when unplugging a fan. This unfortunate incident caused the plants to get about an extra 4 hours of light than normal before I was able to shut them off. I went with my instinct and decided to keep the lights off for a full 12 hours, rather than wake them up at their regular time. That means the lights didn’t come back on until 9pm, at which point I watered. Plants were all noticeably droopy with dry soil. They were definitely thirsty. Tap water: 228ppm, 8.5 pH, 71℉ + HydroGuard: 8ml/8 gallons + pH Down: 25ml Mixture: 255ppm, 6.2 pH, 71℉ ppm/ppm = runoff/soil JB#1 - 1190ppm/935ppm, 6.5 pH AP#1 - 1180ppm/925ppm, 6.3 pH AP#2 - 954ppm/699ppm, 6.8 pH GC#1 - 1600ppm/1345ppm, 6.3 pH This watering was SUCH A JOY. I got plenty of runoff! I was able to take readings that seemed to be much more accurate than the last few waterings. Maybe this is evidence that I should actually let my pots dry out a bit longer than I was previously. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [SUMMARY] Started the week off with a final defoliation to expose more bud sites.
