What a journey it was growing this plant. I flowered the full 16 weeks. I should have known It would not be easy to do indoors. I would not have expected to get such large dense colas from the plant I vegged. The amount of stretch was crazy in flower. And the fact that all the nodes filled in with buds makes this a really good plant for yield. This was my highest-yielding plant so far. I was able to train her just right so I didn't run out of space but that is one of the main considerations for growing this plant. She does not like to be too hot. Anything over 78 F and she was getting stressed. Was growing alongside two other 8-week strains that favored the conditions fine when it got above 80 a few days . Rained 3 weeks in a row and the humidity was very high I got some bud rot the last few days of flower only on the biggest colas. I lost 1/5 of the harvest but still managed a very good yield. The smell is piny, herbal and flowery and when smoke almost doesn't taste like cannabis but like some herbal smoke. It is also some of the smoothest weed I've smoked. The high is also very unique and while there is a little bit of a body high it feels more like a reverberation from the intense head high. Will make you productive and alert and focused. High lasts about 2 hours. But I still need to cure. I hope the trippy comes out more with time. Lost 100 grams to bud rot but good news I still jarred 17.4 ounces of trimmed good stuff. I burned the bad stuff and the trim in my fire pit and got a contact high at least. Hope I never have to do that again. Trimming took 6 hours. I started by bucking down the hangers and carefully inspecting inside every bud and sat aside anything that was even suspected of bud rot. I trimmed and jarred once's up as i went as try to to keep things from getting as contaminated as possible. Once i was done through that i went though the suspect buds and removed the good bits and have in a separate jar just for myself to smoke out the bong asap. and burned the bad stuff in the fire pit. If I see it start to turn bad I'm just going to toss it. No need to be smoking moldy buds. The rot really only affected the tops of the biggest colas in the center. Had I not suffered the bud rot the yield would have been 21 ounces! Was going to mark the final yield based on what was good but that damn auto flower mutant I just grew messed my yield ratio up lol , and I technically grew the bud I just can't smoke it, and that is its potential for the conditions I gave it. So i am counting it as 21. I feel like If I did it again perfectly I could get 2.5 due to the fact i still have quite a bit of space I could have stretched into. While she did stretch a lot from mid to late flower it's not as much as I expected and I had a little more room that I could have veged another week or two. I really though it was going to be to the ceiling with tall skinny lanky buds So i flipped to flower I few weeks later than I had with my other grows. I was not expecting these cannon buds. Seem's like having the lights a the top of the tent and having them as powerful as they can be without any extra stress or harm to the plants decide where they need to stretch to and find the sweet spot themselves. After curing for 17 months I needed to make room for nee stuff so decided to gave pressing this stuff into rosin another try with pretty good results! I tried to upload pictures but not working wt the moment but I got over 15 percent yield which was way better than when it was fresh. I re-moistened the buds overnight in a container with a screen and a damp towel at the bottom and seemed to help a lot. A lot of the terps has faded ad aged but I think i had a nice pleasant mellow pine earthy flavor. The dabs hit you a little harder and faster than the flower which is nice.

Permanent Marker is really coming along now. She's in the first week of flower. I've added the UVA/ UVB bulb, and it's just stretching and looking really good. The leaves are a nice green colour, nice and lush. I'm still debating whether or not I should start any LST. The one branch after the FIM was a little bit taller than the other one, but it seems to have grown up really nicely now. There's about 4 really good ones at the same, or similar height. I will keep an eye on the tallest one, and if I do need to tie it down, I'll just use some soft garden twine to do that and I'll tie it to the edge of the pot. So we'll see how it goes. Although I am very tempted to just leave her and see how she grows. As an experiment without too much further intervention. So overall, I'm really happy with how she's done this week. And looking forward to next week and seeing how we get on. Here is what I did this week. I have added an additional 100Watt UVA/UVB lamp, as the uppermost canopy of Acapulco Gold is blocking pretty much everything in the tent. Hopefully, this will aid the shorter plants in surviving until I can harvest it. There will be so much more space and lighting. Can't wait! 😅 25.9.25: I watered with 3L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.5 with; 💜 Sea K 3 TSP PH: 6.5 PPM: 595 26.9.25: I watered with 2.5L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.2 with; 💜 Cal-Mag 1.5TSP 💜 Sea K 1.5TSP PH: 6.2 PPM: 1210 The fungus gnats have really incresed since I did a watering of the whole tent. I have some more sticky traps set out, and I will not water for several days. Once it has dried the top soil, I will add some more Diatomaceous Earth to the top 5 cm. Thanks for checking in this week, and let's chat in the comments! 😁💚✌️🧡🙌

Skywalker OG — Legends of the 12/12 Galaxy Week 8 from seed | Week 3 Flower Another week in the jungle with our Skywalker OG girls growing under 12/12 from seed, and the room is looking healthy, vibrant, and full of life. For anyone joining the diary now, here is a quick recap of the journey so far. These plants were grown 12/12 directly from seed, a style I enjoy exploring because it allows the plant to express its structure naturally while keeping the cycle compact and efficient. After the early development stages and a recent defoliation session last week, the girls are now entering a beautiful phase where the canopy starts filling again. And as often happens after a good cleanup… it already looks like no defoliation ever happened. The Skywalkers are doing exactly what they do best: growing bushy, strong, and lush green. The canopy is filling fast, and by the looks of it, we may have another light defoliation session coming soon to maintain airflow and light penetration deeper into the plant. ⸻ Environmental Conditions At this stage the room is running slightly on the aggressive side, but with strong airflow and air exchange we are keeping things stable. Current room parameters Temperature: ~28°C Relative Humidity: ~70% (slowly reducing) Airflow: Strong circulation + active air exchange Yes, these numbers are slightly higher than the textbook recommendations, but the key here is air movement and gas exchange. With strong airflow inside the canopy and constant air renewal, the plants remain comfortable and actively transpiring. Still, over the coming weeks we will gradually reduce humidity and slightly lower temperature as the flowers begin to develop further. ⸻ Light Intensity PPFD in the room varies depending on plant size and position. Most of the Skywalker OG plants are receiving between: 800 – 1300 PPFD There is also one wild card in the room pushing 1800–2000 PPFD, but that plant belongs to another genetic experiment and not to the Skywalker OG group. For the Skywalkers, the current light intensity is pushing vigorous growth without visible stress, which is exactly what we want at this stage. ⸻ Feeding Strategy The girls are clearly eating well right now. Current nutrient EC: 2.4 Runoff EC (substrate): ~0.9 This tells us the plants are actively taking nutrients from the medium. As long as the plants continue eating and the runoff remains stable, the recipe stays the same. If feeding slows or runoff EC starts climbing, we adjust accordingly. For now, the system is balanced and working. ⸻ Current Nutrient Recipe The current feeding program includes: CalMag Pro Terra Bloom Power Buds Green Sensation Pure Zym Sugar Royal Vita race is available as a foliar spray, but at this stage of flowering I prefer not spraying the plants unless absolutely necessary. Keeping flowers dry helps avoid unnecessary risks. ⸻ Why We Transitioned From Power Roots to Power Buds Early in the cycle the focus was on root development, which is why we used Power Roots. Now that the plants are established and entering full flower development, the focus shifts toward flower initiation and early bud formation. This is where Power Buds comes into play. It helps stimulate the plant’s natural hormonal signals related to flower site formation and bud development, encouraging the plant to direct more energy toward the reproductive stage. ⸻ Why We Added Green Sensation Green Sensation is introduced at this stage to support: • bud development • terpene production • overall flower density • plant metabolism during bloom It acts as a metabolic booster, helping plants maintain energy while building flowers. The idea is not to push plants aggressively, but to support their natural flowering process. ⸻ Mixing Order — Why It Matters The order in which nutrients are mixed is often overlooked, but it is important for solution stability. The mixing process always starts with CalMag. CalMag is added first until the base EC reaches approximately 0.7. This establishes a stable mineral foundation for the rest of the solution. After that we add: 1️⃣ Base nutrient (Terra Bloom) 2️⃣ Flower additives 3️⃣ Enzymes and metabolic boosters Adding nutrients in the proper order helps prevent chemical precipitation and nutrient instability, keeping the solution balanced and fully available for the plant. In other words: Chemistry matters. ⸻ What to Expect Next Over the coming weeks we expect to see: • more vertical stretch slowing down • flower sites stacking • increased aroma development • stronger nutrient demand The main focus will be maintaining airflow, light penetration, and environmental balance as the canopy thickens. If the jungle keeps expanding at this pace, another selective defoliation may happen soon to keep the plants breathing comfortably. ⸻ Final Thoughts For now the room feels alive and balanced. The Skywalker OG girls are healthy, green, and moving steadily into the flowering phase. It is always a pleasure to watch the jungle slowly organize itself as the plants begin their real work. ⸻ Thank You A big thank you to everyone following this diary. To the OG supporters, the new growers, the curious readers, the critics, the silent observers, and the GrowDiaries community as a whole. Whether you comment often or simply watch quietly from the background, you are all part of this journey. And of course, gratitude to the partners supporting this work. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. -4/16/23 Start of week --Week 4 -4/16/23 (Day 29) --Observations: roots around the outside of soil, branches growing quickly --Changes: transplanted from one gallon pot into a three gallon pot, increased light cycle duration to 18 hours, distance from light slightly changed --Comments: forgot to take photo after transplant -4/18/23 (Day 31) --Observations: still not having problems with nutrient spray multiple times every day. --Comments: first photos in new pot, will start training tomorrow near the end of the light cycle (less than 6h light left). will be trying an experimental grow training where the plant is forced to create multiple vertical branches coming off the main stem that will be forced to grow horizontally. should end with more symmetrical and uniform colas. -4/19/23 (Day 32) --Observations: branches are big enough to start training --Changes: started LST today. removed one spade leaf and the branch node it had, also removed one shade leaf from the second set. --Comments: today is the day to start training, had to remove some parts so that they would not be toughing the soil. should recover and start having branches grow vertically. was thinking about trying the FIMing technique, looks like it may be the perfect time for it. will decide tomorrow after it tries to correct itself, if all goes well it shouldn't be able to pull the tie downs up. -4/20/23 (Day 33) --Observations: slightly pulling up tie downs, branches correcting direction and growing vertically. --Changes: removed another shade leaf that was covering several branch nodes, pushed tie downs back into soil. --Comments: may need to find a better way to tie down or find a new way because it seems like they keep pulling up and not holding where I want them to. -4/21/23 (Day 34) --Changes: removed shade leave on both second level branches, tried FIMing the top. also changed placement of tie downs. --Comments: doing good with training, removed some shade leaves to open up space for other growth. tried to do the FIMing technique but I'm not sure if it was done right, if not them I may just top this plant. -4/22/23 (Day 35) --Observations: still trying to pull out tie downs, branches growing quickly --Changes: started watering with nutrients --Comments: continues to fight the tie downs but is still taking to training. giving nutrients in the watering now and not just spraying with them, may start adding molasses to future waterings. still not sure if I did FIMing properly but if it isn't right then I will be topping this plant. -4/22/23 End of Week

The tiny potter grow is going good. I did burn her a bit by pushing too hard too soon. She is flowering nicely. I imagine she will be done bulking here in about a week. Then about a week of 2 for a flush and fade. Was a really neat grow with a few mutations. I did not do any training beside defoliation here, and there. Cleaning out bottom to get nutrition in easier. She twin towered due to a mutation. Regardless she did good under the Mars hydro FC4800 light. The roots are starting to crack the container. We will see if it holds together till finish. This has been a difficult grow for sure. Feeding 2 to 3 times a day has been a hassle. I sure hope I place in the tiny potter contest. Thank you Mars Hydro. 🤜🏻🤛🏻🌱🌱🌱 Thank you grow diaries community for the 👇likes👇, follows, comments, and subscriptions on my YouTube channel👇. ❄️🌱🍻 Happy Growing 🌱🌱🌱 https://youtube.com/channel/UCAhN7yRzWLpcaRHhMIQ7X4g

Wk 5 was Steady Away, Explosive growth starting, Transplanted one from aero to coco and added Began the Scrog As you may have noticed, I Expanded the garden to give the coco girls some more room. The Dawg in the aero wasn't taking well at all, she hadn't really had a good innings from the beginning. I transplanted her into the coco and Fed her very week nutes..

This week I Realised I'd used the wrong feed chart so I was over feeding 🙄 the leaves burnt on a few plants so I've only fed them water this week and will resume feeding from next week. There are still no pre sex pistils showing but it can't be far off now. As soon as pistils start to show I'll start feeding bloom feed. I've turned the light up to 30000lux using HLG's online calculator for converting a lux meter/app reading to PAR , my light is 3000k which with lm301H Led's works out @ 465ppfd which is about the max the plants can use in veg without supliments co2. Here's the link for anyone using quantum boards, it has different spectrum calculators. It's been really useful setting my light up so big thank you to HLG (even though I have a Geeklight) and a thank you to the GML show on YouTube for bringing it to growers attention (I love that weekly show, so much info and perspective) https://horticulturelightinggroup.com/blogs/calculators/converting-lux-to-ppfd Hope everyone's staying safe and growing 😎

Hello, This is the end of week 7 and the beginning of week 8 of flowering. I completely forgot about reporting last week. Got the roof re-shingled and they finished on Tue and I chopped fire wood when they left. Chopped for 3 days and on Sat. I couldn't remember if I reported... so I had to look... I hadn't... Oh well.. Got 3 weeks left to go and this is the last week for nutrients. I'll give a couple of weeks of ph adjusted tap water only, before harvest. Yes... I still like to flush... For better taste. I've tried growing right up to harvest before and was disappointed with the pot. Or had to harvest early, because of pests, and didn't flush. I could taste the nutrients left in the plant tissue. Have you ever tried the ash test to see how clean your pot is? When you smoke a joint, the ash at the end is supposed to be white and fall off the end easily, for the cleanest cannabis. It always takes 2 weeks flushing, for me, to get that good white ash. If your ash is gray... that's not too bad, if it falls off easily. But if it's dark gray with black streaks in it and is stiff and has to be pushed off the end of the joint, then it will probably taste bad too and has too much nutrient left in it... Have you ever smoked a joint and had it sizzle and soft pop (not like a seed pop) It has too much nutrient left in the plant Try your own test (smoke a joint) to see how your pot stacks up. OK. Keep Growing Straight. Chuck.

I'm sorry I'm 4 weeks behind here guys, it's been a busy period in my life. So here we have a mixed grow, as you can see everything is growing well. I've been LSTing these plants since day 1, the results are a nice evn canopy and plenty of tops. Used the biotabs lineup this time around with a light dose of micro nutrients for veg. Working great There are 2x Power Kush 2x PPP 2x Chemdawg 2x White Widow Thanks for following

These girls are becoming very vigorous in their growth cycle I defoliated last week and the lady's bounced back so quick in under a week. Everything is looking extremely healthy and I can't say enough about this new light of mine definitely glad for this investment.Mars hydro fc 4800 har been everything I expected plus some. The plants are thriving and seem to love this lotus nutrients. Will be taking clones next week. Very happy with ethos genetics, so much so I went out and bought 4 more strains from them planet of the grapes, 10th planet, booberry muffin, and banana hammock just started a run on all but 10th planet follow my other diary for the next weeks to come for new grow. As you can see the front right plant of mine is a little behind but hopefully will se her catch up a little this week.
