🌿 Amnesia Skunk Auto — Week 9 From Seed (Week 5 Flower) We’re back with the Amnesia Skunk auto, and before we dive into this week, let’s take a second to understand how we got here. This run has been a bit different from the traditional approach. Even though we’re working with autoflowers, the environment has been set under a 12/12 light cycle from seed — what we’ve been calling a “no veg” approach. Now, to clarify — it’s not that the plant doesn’t vegetate. It does. But it does so on its own internal clock, not because we extended light hours to push vegetative growth. So what happens? The plant never gets the signal to fully stretch and build structure like in a classic veg phase, which results in: • more compact plants • tighter node spacing • earlier transition into flower • and a much faster lifecycle overall And that’s exactly what we’re seeing here. ⸻ 🌱 This Week — The Story of the White Hairs (Pistils) This week, the stars of the show are the white hairs — the pistils. Those fine white strands you’re seeing shooting out of the buds are the female reproductive organs of the plant. Their role is simple, but powerful: They are designed to catch pollen. Each pistil is connected to an ovule inside the calyx. If pollinated, that’s where seeds would form. But in our case — no pollen, no seeds — so the plant continues to push energy into: 👉 resin production 👉 bud swelling 👉 terpene expression That’s why you’ll notice: • fresh, bright white pistils = active growth phase • constant new pistil production = plant still building mass And right now? She’s in full production mode. ⸻ 🌿 Structure & Development What’s really interesting here is the morphology. These are currently the most compact plants in the room, sitting around ~90 cm, but: • dense structure • tight internodes • bud sites stacked closely The buds themselves are already: • forming tight • showing early frost • pushing aroma earlier than expected For a plant that never had a traditional veg window, this is honestly impressive. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment & Feeding We’ve kept things stable and consistent: • Temperature: ~28°C • Humidity: ~65% RH • pH: ~6.5 • EC: ~2.0 Water intake is sitting at around 1.5L per plant per day, which tells us: 👉 metabolism is active 👉 root zone is functioning well 👉 demand is increasing as flowers build ⸻ ⚡ On the “No Veg” Approach This run continues to reinforce something interesting: You don’t always need a long veg phase to get quality results. Started about four days ago . I got gifted some autoflower testers, so though I would do another run under the 100w Easy grow miracle. I have two of each strain one is Tangie Monkey Auto - Sourtangie x gg4 x bikerkush x ruderalis. The other is Bananangie - Strawberry banana x tangiemonkey x ruderalis . Both sound good and I have grown two of their ( gg4 x biker kush ) crosses before. I am surprised more people don't grow island seed seeds. Plants are in 7 litres two plants in Biobizz light mix with added perlite and two plants in dutch Vega lightmix with perlite. I have added an additional handful of perlite to each mix along with Bio grow from greenhouse feed. They have been given a water with Plagron roots. 0.5 ml per litre.

Lollipopped the monster crop clones in the tent; defoliated everything a bit. Everyone seems to be moving alone nicely. Everything is showing pistils except the two bagseeds in the middle of the tent. Smells great in the closet. Between the two tents I have a 2x7’ area with three Sunraise lights running. I’m hoping to have a better harvest than last time. Last grow I only used the 2x4 tent with three plants and two lights yielded about 2 ounces per plant. I nute burned the hell out of them last time and I’ve been feeding about 1/4 the amount I was last grow. These plants seem much healthier and are much larger than my last grow. I have also become more comfortable with defoliation than I was previously. This time I am focusing on larger, denser buds. The plant in the solo cup is a Pineapple Express clone. It has not rooted but the stalk has turned white and it hasn’t been needing much humidity anymore. It is almost rooted; I have been spraying it with colloidal silver to try and Hermie it. If I can get it to Hermie I can separate it before the pollen sacs burst and selectively breed branches on my other plants to make feminized seeds. **growdairies is messing up; I cannot change the temperatures on substrate, night air or day air. Average temp for all is about 75 degrees Fahrenheit.

The smells are becoming very strong in my house and truthfully I am still pretty pleased with trichome production although I definitely can tell the wish i had calmag 3 weeks earlier but better late then never about 3 weeks from harvest can't wait for this one been long road but a rewarding one.

Im quite sad about the end result of the Exodus Cheese. I expected something different. Anyway sometimes you find something great and sometimes you dont. Thats just part of the game. Im not complaining about greenhouse seeds tho, i have found quite some bangers out of their seed packs in the past. Looking forward to new grows. Peace out growmies.

These girls are nearly 50cm and the one girl is around 35cm, I'm going too continue veg for 1-2 weeks longer and scrog in the meantime too gold back the 2 taller girl. These girls are plodding into week 7 now so they are ready too flip but will see how my grow question goes before switching too 12/12 👌 They are happy and healthy and doing well under the shogun nutrients! I have defoliate the odd top fan leaf too allow better air circulation. We have very high heat atm but hopefully they uptake more 😉😅 Happy growing 🌱💚

Sorry I didn’t upload week 5 Ngl it was a bad week i suffocated 4 plants I had to defoliate some leaves because of nutrient defeincies making the plant look diseased I managed to pull through there back healthier again I got a few yellow spots but there goint but other then them 4 there’s some nice bud and bud spots really starting to come through excuse the 4 shittier looking plants and the defoliated skimpy one! Other then those problems that I have resolved I’m happy again last week not so this week happy!!! It’s all trial and error first go I haven’t trained any plants I will do on my next grow definitely!

Day 12 of organic grow and all is well. Seemed to have dialed in the conditions and able to keep good air movement, CO2 levels, and consistent temperatures/humidity with the ThruWall Closet Fan (Model TW108 ), and the Holmes Twin Exhaust/Intake Fan (Model HAWF-2041). Humidity is maintained with a Lovoit 6L Ultrasonic Programmable Cool Mist Humidifier (Model# LV600HH). Added a SCROG screen (just a cargo net) and bought the Sample Pack of organic nutrients from Nectar for the Gods (just pay shipping and they will send you the sample nutrients - check out the website). People say their line of nutrients make the buds smell and taste like no other! I have always been an organic Earth Juice nutrient guy, so I am going to experiment with combining the two. Lights are on 24/0 and she has tight internodal spacing with good vertical growth. Room that closet is in is beginning to smell skunky at times, and like diesel at other times. 29/08/2023- Entered week 7 of flower feeding 1ml/L bio grow 4ml/l biobloom 4ml/l top max and 3,75ml/l bio heaven. Ph 5.7 and 865 ppm. 31/08/2023 - got an extra QB borrowed and added to the tent. 50-65W samsung lm281b. 01/09/2023 - The deficiencies are spreading to more leaves, so I fed a little more than the recommended dose from biobizz: 2,3ml/L bio grow, 5.3ml/L bio bloom, 5,3ml/L top max, 6,5ml/L bio heaven and 4ml/L alg-a-mic. ph 6,5 and ppm 1015. 02/09/2023 - there was 1L of the previous day solution left so i gave it to them today.
