Hallo und herzlich willkommen zu meinem neuen Grow mit der Auto Jack, Jacky White 6th Gen. von Paradise Seeds. Die "Eltern" sind Jacky White x Ruderalis, die "Großeltern" sind Jack Herer und White Widow. Sie ist dadurch eine 75% Sativa mit zitronig-fruchtigen Aromen, genau mein Ding. Es freut mich sehr, das mir die Samen in einer sehr schönen Verpackung freundlicherweise von Paradise Seeds zur Verfügung gestellt wurden. Das ist für mich der Ansporn, eine möglichst genaue Beschreibung des Growverlaufs aufzuzeichnen. As you can see, the buds are getting to their maximum size and we still have at least two weeks more before the final flush. As you can see i increased the CO2 in the tent, in order to get advantage from the high temperatures inside the growth space (around 27/28ºC with no thermal amplitude between day and nights), Southern Portugal had been register around 36ºC day maximum and 28ºC nights minimum, so without AC it isn't posible to drop temperature, but despite of it, the buds are thriving from day to day and the scent and coloques are impressive (some redish Buds, no foxtails whatsoever, and the terpens are just Delicious. Even though the plant has started flowering, it can still grow a bit during the first few weeks. Mine grew by 10 cm, making it 52 cm in total. I’m adding fertilizer, and the plants look good so far. I’ve been trimming most of the smaller buds that are lower down, but given its size, I’ll leave it as it is for now and see how it turns out in the end.

So... welcome back! Last week was rather uneventfull. Just the way I like it. They are all getting more substance though. The middle one is more leafy, the two outer ones are more developed and although the biggest buds are maybe only the size of a lighter. Most buds have filled out with calixes and only little leaves. They are dense and compact. The smell is getting heavier. When close to the buds it reminds of expensive herbal perfumes like Rabane. I distinctly have a 'hug from your poppa' kind of association with it and memories start flowing.... It is citrussy but in the ethereal way, it is spicy in the 'spicetrader' way, a mixture of ginger, cinnamon, black pepper, with a huge funky basetone. This combined, its as if a master perfumer had composed an exquisite fragrance. The funk of an attick full of weed to serve as the musky base undertones upon which, a layer of earthy spices, upon which a floral and citrussy fresh layer. It is bloody amazing and I wished ya'll were with me to smell it and taste it when the time has come. I want to exersize patience but my god this smells better than any weed I recently acquired and we have some excellent dispensaries here. So I've started giving them up to 4 ltrs ( a gallon) of water each, every two days or so. They seem to need it, no drooping but also bonedry earth till deep in the pot. SInce two days ago with less feed and today only the Biobizz Topmax and PH correction. Although not really convinced of flushing, Im trying it to see if I get a more pure taste and experience. So trichomewise I find it hard to see, my magnifier is not strong enough to see the individual trichomes. I do see area's on leafedges etc that seem more amber, trichomes look milky from this distance but have get a better magnifier to get better view. On the images I see that there are many clear ones and not many ambers so we have some weeks to go which is correct according to Advanced Seeds, this Gelato #33 Fast has to flower 45 to 55 days, We are on day 39... The plant itself seems utterly healthy. Some white points and very little heatstress from checking absolute minimum for these lights. You don't know until you find out. For anyone else looking for reviews on Rubol V3 100 watt QB's in a three in a row setup, with 10 cm spacing between each board, the minimal distance is 28 cm or one foot, when flowering, gradually lowering to this point btw. These lights are excellent, good value for money and with the two years of waranty a good investment. Also great service from Justin at www.rubol.nl. They are helpfull, considerate and very knowledgable. Beginning of week 8 and seems like a long way to go. Most of the hairs still white. Hopefully the buds will fill in more! As right now I’m planning to take it 10+ weeks. This week I will lower the CO2 slowly 50 PPM every day until I will reach 800PPM. Also I will lower the light intensity by 2% every day. This week I lowered the day temp to 79 degrees and next week I’m playing to lower it every further to 76 degrees Fahrenheit. Water temp is at 68 degrees and probably from week 9 I will lower it to 66. Beginning of week 8 TDS is at 550PPM. I sent adding the Late bloom enhancer from Current Culture! End of week 8 : lowered the TDS to 470ppm , she seems that it not eating so much nutrients anymore. She still drinking 3 gallons of water every single day.

October 16. 2021 The Dinafem Quick Critical popped first on October 12th, then the CBD Medi Kush popped the next day. As of October 16th Critical Sour and Dr Bruce Banner have not popped. Seeing a few fungus gnats, but nothing to worry about. I sprayed the top of the soil with water to keep the top of the soil, and the seed, from drying out. I also dropped second seeds for Critical Sour and Dr Bruce Banner. Check in next week to see what happens next! 😎

So this week I saw some decent bud development! There are a couple of colas with tips a little too close to the light, but they aren't getting super high PAR measurements so I think they're good. I added PK 13/14 this week, so I wanted to see some interesting changes. Not as much as I thought, but some flowers are noticeably much fatter than a few days ago. Had an issue with the top layer of my coco getting dry which I realised to be from the 15L dehumidifier I had in there, right next to my pot 😳 So that's now on full power in the room outside of the tent. The heat can be a bit of an issue, reaching 27-28c briefly some days. There's been a couple of fluctuations in the humidity, from 55% RH to 70%, so I've straightened the ducting and tried to perfect my ventilation and environment as much as possible. I'm debating buying a co2 bag to help my plant deal with the heat and intense light. The trichomes are really starting to show, with the 60x magnifier I can see so many cool heads. It just seems that my buds aren't really filling out beneath the pistils, causing me to worry. This week there were so many photos that even after picking out my favourites I ended up with 111 of them! Also, it's worth noting that the nutrient amounts I have listed are in *ml/1.5l. Here we are again ready to start again, always under the sign of Zamnesia, we make our fantastic plants and we show you what we are capable of. We have 5 autoflowering strains and 5 photoperiodic ones and now we present them to you. This time we are faced with an absolute novelty from Zamnesia, a plant from the latest generation of an immense series that Zamnesia is bringing out, ready to try them all. Here we have excellent parents, the primette result is great, let's also try the Karen Kush. I was amazed by the perfect branding for this strain and so let it be Karen. To explain my germination method which is a combination of experiences acquired in the field and readings of the right advisors, I have chosen to divide it into phases so whoever wants can follow them and understand better step by step. - Preparatory Phase ---- Check the average temperature in the room, humidity status to understand if it is the case to start or wait, I decided for the end of August because the temperatures start to drop towards the 22-25 degrees recommended for germination. Then another thing more or less credible depending on the sensitivity is the control of the lunar phases. I believe in it a lot, it is a method that ancient farmers used to understand when it was best to plant depending on the attraction of the moon. To make my life easier I use a simple app that advises you on the right time to plant, harvest and put in the jar (depending on the lunar phases). - Phase 1 --- Soaking in water. There are many authoritative friends who advise against this method due to the risk of drowning, but I have always been fine and I follow the rule if it opens in water the seed is almost certainly healthy and will come out of the ground 90% normally. - Phase 2 --- Opening the seed in water. As soon as the seed opens and the root comes out a little, you have to be very very careful not to leave the seed in the water open for too long. This is why there is a risk of drowning. So as soon as the root comes out, it must be planted. Do not wait for it to stretch out a lot, you can wait a little longer in the absorbent paper, but not in water. - Phase 3 --- In the meantime, while I soaked the seeds, I prepared my pots: I use small biodegradable pots (choose the ones with holes underneath for drainage). A few hours before working with the opened seeds, I moistened the soil with water adjusted to the right pH (5.8 - 6.2) and Plagron Power Roots. The small root is now open and we can make a little hole with a toothpick, widen it and insert the seed. Not too deep with the root facing downwards. From Serious Seeds we learned the dome technique: if you put a small dome of soil on the seed the water will settle on the sides avoiding overwatering problems. - Phase 4 --- The plant emerges from the soil. So far I have not put the light, now I turn it on at minimum after half a day of soil to give direction to the seedlings. The first week the light will be gradually brought from 40% to 60% to go to 70% - 75% in the remaining weeks of veg. During the first week maximum, I keep the cycle of 24 hours to avoid stretching. Hopefully, this is the last week for the Gelato Cookie D'ohpe. Fan leaves are getting yellow and the pistils are getting brown and also keep checking the trichomes that are getting milky. Watering 125ml 2 times per plant, so altogether 700ml for 2 plants, and now the Gelato Cookie D'ohpe. is being flushed so no fertilization. Purple Punch will be fertilized with the same way before I did and now it is flowering. I removed some yellow leaves from the Gelato Cookie D'ohpe that was dried so the lower buds might be able to receive more light. Monday: Sunday is the scheduled harvest day for Gelato Cookie D'ohpe. I can't wait to happen. Petty much everything is okay. Last day of the 9th week so I trimmed the Gelato Cookie D'ohpe before harvest and also this is the last day when I gave her water so I added extra today 2x 250ml. Until Sunday no more water and Saturday no light also so 3 days no water before harvest and 1 day no light. I removed the oldest biggest fan leaves from the Purple Punch because those were getting yellow and the plant looks much better, let her focus on her buds. :) As I cut off the leaves the Purple Punch has like citrus smell in really like that. The Gelato Cookie D'ohpe is stronger, very strong smell, for me stinky, but the flowers have fruity smell I really like it. So the end of the week Purple Punch is 40 cm, Gelato Cookie D'ohpe is 70 cm.
