Week 8 Plant Growth Summary Lighting: Light schedule remains under review, currently around 16.67 hours as part of the ongoing reduction plan. The goal is to reach 15 hours of light by the week of May 26, aligning with civil twilight to avoid triggering early flowering during the eventual outdoor transition. Irrigation & Feeding: Began the week with 4 gallons of nutrient solution in the reservoir (standard feeding levels). Midweek, the reservoir was flushed and cleaned, then refilled with 3 gallons of plain water at pH 6.5 to help balance conditions. Training & Maintenance: Performed light pruning of lower leaves showing signs of nutrient burn or receiving insufficient light. Continued low-stress training with soft ties to open up canopies and encourage light penetration to new growth. Blueberry Muffin was topped this week to encourage bushier growth. Overall Plant Health: Both plants are looking healthy and responding well to training. Adjustments are continuing in anticipation of the mid-May transplant outdoors.

She has held up well managing the environment so far she has very few leaf burn but not concerning. N13 is showing signs of bloom the white hairs shaping up to be round like cotton balls with no leaf fading. The N13 has received 600ml of nutrients to get her through to the end of bloom and she stands approximately 57cm

From 3 plants, from seed to harvest, one of them took only 74 days, the other two, took another week for 81 days. On their last days I Kept them under 48hrs of light instead of 48 hrs of darkness. Overall I’m happy with this harvest, white widow from fastbuds never disappoints 😉

Woche 11 Nachdem die Blüte sich recht lange nach hinten geschoben hat und nun auch die Blütenansätze etwas seltsam wirken, müssen wir wohl festhalten, dass die Gute wahrscheinlich mit ihrer Mutation zu kämpfen hat, und nicht wie erwartet zu einer nährstoffgierigen Palme geworden ist. Parameter wie Bodenfeuchte oder Überdüngung (pH, Ec) wurden gecheckt ergaben jedoch keine Auffälligkeiten. Mal schauen, was aus der kleinen Mutantin evt. doch noch erwächst. Interessant zu beobachten ist an dieser Stelle, wie dicht die noch recht kleinen und knubbeligen Buds mit Trichomen bedeckt sind. Sollte das Pflänzchen noch ordentlich zu bulben beginnen wird es eine Glitzerpracht werden.

It's been a great week to watch bud sites continue to develop thoroughly across the top of the canopy. The plant I have in the scrog net is the bigger of the two so it got a heavier defoliation particularly near the bottom of the plant. -I added Humboldt secret golden tree (0-0-2) to my nutrient mix to help boost nutrition to the root zone. It is expensive stuff but the plants can't get enough of it. I have been giving really heavy feedings (1200 ppm or 2.4 EC) every other water, but soon I'm going to taper off and focus on feeding more calcium and carbon than anything else. -I increased my CO2 dosage to about 1400 ppm - I have increased my light intensity to roughly 80% on all three of my lights.. I probably won't go much higher I never run my lights at 100% -Trichome development has really taken off.. plants have developed a sweet & gassy smell.. the structure of these girls is UNREAL.. Added yellow sticky fly traps to all cubes as a preventative measure to avoid infestation of fungus gnats. So far none have been spotted. Defoliated and did a little more LST to all the plants to open up the center and give more light to lower shoots. Blue Dream 3 and Chemdawg 3 started showing some discoloration on the leaves (yellowing around the veins) and also the leaf tips curling down. Did some research and came up with this... Possible diagnosis: - Yellowing around leaf veins could be a sign of Magnesium or Iron deficiency - Leaf tip curling down could be a sign of Nitrogen Toxicity. - Both could be caused by improper ph balance in water Possible solutions: - Applied Botanicare CalMag+ as a foliar feed and added some to the reservoir. CalMag+ contains Calcium, Magnesium and Iron. - Diluted nutrients in reservoir to lower amount of nitrogen being fed to plants. Was feeding them at 1300ppm, lowered it to 1050ppm - Tested runoff and saw it was coming out at 5.4pH so I increased the pH in the reservoir to 6.0. Now the runnoff is testing at 5.7pH, meaning that my rootzone is in the optimal range of 5.5-5.8 Well wait and see how the plants react to these slight tweaks. Hopefully we start to see a nice healthy even green again.

📆 Week 14, 11 - 17 April 2024 11 April - Cut off all yellowing leaves. Reduced light power to 50%. Began the Flush. 12-13 April - Flushed plant. 14 April - Harvested plant and hung in closet for drying. 15-17 April - Continued to hang in closet for drying. 📑 I decided to trim this plant before hanging because of its size, and having the time to dedicate to it. Either way it would have been sticky. It will hang it for 7-10 days in a somewhat climate controlled closet with a RH 60% and temperature of 65 degrees F using a small fan for circulation. Then it will be cut and placed into 1 quart mason jars with Boveda 62% TerpShield, and burped daily until a RH of 62% is maintained for long term storage. Overall Grow Review: With all environmental conditions staying within ideal throughout the grow, I am impressed with the size of these buds and resin production. But she was not on the bigger side of the auto family varieties as far as yield. I contribute this to size of the plant. The breeder claims a height of 100 centimeters, where this plant only achieved about 75. Time of harvest from seed the breeder claims 65-70 days. I did have to add an additional week of flowering to get her matured due to the higher sativa genetics, but that was expected. The time of this harvest was 94 days (42 veg, 52 flower). Would I grow it again? Absolutely! As with any autoflower I’ve grown in hydroponics, they have taken this long, under these conditions, without any major manipulation - seed to harvest just over 90 days. The only major differences are size of plant, and type of bud - not time to grow and properly mature. I did not get the wet bud weight. I still can’t understand the reason for this number, it is the most irrelevant thing to add in this process because it just doesn’t matter. My opinion. Smoq Review: She has a nice profile of terps and the taste doesn’t leave your mouth dry. The high is very pleasant and makes you feel energetic and talkative, leading into an evening of good times. There is not a lot to say when the it’s the right one for anytime, recreational or medicinal, it’s definitely a depression eliminator! 🍶 11 April nutrient changed to RO water 💧 Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 🔆 Light power at 50%, DLI 40-45 canopy coverage at 12hrs 😤 Using PYPABL, Air Pump, 400GPH That is it for this grow.
