8/7 After several days of Growdiaries making it difficult for me to write and respond to comments, I found that I can still update the journals. I think that I will make a few mistakes in this stage because I have never know about auto seeds growing knowledge before this time. When I finished germination stage, I planted his in small pot. At 7th day of his age, I changed his from small pot to 5 gallons air pot but seen to be fine.I think he has strong stamina.At 9day old,I feed him Cal-Mag (2-0-0) 2ml/1liter. In this week, I feed him GH Nutrients at 11 day.I’m so exciting in my first time growing 🤭🤭

When the seed sprouted it stayed indoors under 24hrs of light for 4 days.
This morning i topped it up with soil and moved it outdoors in a 22ltr or 6 gallon pot.
Really excited about this strain as i ve seen some massive plants plus its a 50 / 50 hybrid.
Its going to be a mind high and a body high.
Lets see how it goes. for an outdoor grow at this stage of the yr its going to be challenging but i am up to the challenge 💪

Nun geht es los... "Rosi", "Claudia" und die etwas divenhafte "Franziska" konnten sich etwas stabilisieren.
Mal sehen, wann der Hydro-Boost anfängt... (*freu*). Claudia hatte Glück mit dem Netztopf und hat bereits anfang der Woche eine Wurzel im Wasser...
Tag 18: Rosi hat wohl Ärger mit dem Netztopf... Claudia legt schon los und Franziska will gepflegt werden. Ich denke ich mache aus ihr einen Bonsai ;)
Gesamt: Diesmal war das Umtopfen wohl sehr stressig... next time direkt die Keimlinge in den Blähton.

everything is going quite well, there were problems with lack of potassium, but that error has already been fixed :) the girl has already started sugar leaves :)

The tale of one strain but two different grows.
Plant a is looking she she is ready to be harvested. I'm going to give her another week or two just to get the tricone a little more amber about less then 5%
Plant b is looks healthy and is getting thick I am probably going to give it another 3 week cause alot of tricones are not cloudy about 50 to 60% is cloudy will wait till 90-100% is cloudy

Week 8 of Flowering, pistils are turning brown. Will check tricolms next week. Since I am doing hydro, flushing can commence the final week.
*finally got my co2 meter to work so boosting co2 to 1000 ppm and increased light output but 20%. The rent increased 30% in humidity and raised 4 degrees F so manageable for sure.

It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is.
So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product.
It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic.
Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans.
So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals.
In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds.
I probably go over 500 grams for the total grow, which would be 1.6 grams per watt. Big success!

Gave the photos a haircut today. Removed some fan leaves and lower branches that wouldn't amount to much. Gave the branches to my horse because he loves them! Tried enticing the ducks with fan leaves but they weren't having any of it. They prefer lettuce, not "The Devil's Lettuce"😂
I added in a little 5-1-1 fish fertilizer to my feeding regimen as well. Still picking off inchworms.
And as you can see I made it to the hardware store and put up this baby almost completely by myself. I only asked my husband to hold the center roof panel support while I screwed it in. Couldn't have been better timing since hurricane Dorian came through yesterday and we had plenty of rain. Of course it didn't fully protect them but the majority of the rain hit the roof. And then it got down to 49 F last night. It's really Fall now!
This girl is frosty and she ain't near done, those pistils are like a white walker! So looking forward to this finish, because it's gonna be better than last year for sure!

I burned them. I knew 2000 ppm was too much but I went with the NFTG chart anyways. The different charts worked great at 100% until now. The one in the back took it the worst. The front one only somewhat. I stopped feeding and have just been giving them tap water for the last week which is about 100ppm. They seem stable now, I guess.
These fuckers have gotten unruly. They are too big for their own good. I can barely get in there to do anything. When I started these I didnt look too much into the strain. I just figured i'd use up some free seeds and got to it without much of a plan. I was going to use 5 gallon pots but on transplant day I realized I only have 7 gallon pots so I went with it. They are 2 giant bushes for sure.
The buds on the back plant are getting massive. I got yoyo's everywhere. They smell great.
I took out a couple lights and started to simulate shade. Roughly 4 weeks left, give or take.

Day 53: In this last week I moved all the plants again and removed the leaves and branches for the last time. Twenty or twenty-five days at the most for the first harvest, and I can already draw up a final report on the genetics of this strain. On eight plants of Gorilla four showed a predominance indica with a large central cola and less ramifications. Two plants are much more bushy have a sativa predominance with longer buds and have branched out a lot. For the last two unfortunately has dominated the photoperiodic genetics and their flowering is considerably late, so as to be overcome by the two cheeses that are in bloom more advanced. However, the pistils have popped up and started to bloom, so the autoflowering genetic part is present. I am a patient grower anyway, so I will wait for them to complete their cycle even if I have to wait about three months.
In these days I have added to my secret garden four other varieties: 1 Purple Glam Kush and 1 Sweet Tooth Auto by Bulk Seeds, 1 Critical Rapid by Barney's Farm and 1 Northern Lights x Blueberry by i49 Seeds. New dedicated journals on arrival 😉

So far everything is going great. No issues at all. Both girls started preflower on Tuesday and already I can see that they started stretching nicely. Scrog net will be installed by the end of this week.
Week 5
13-19 Nov.
13/11 day 36
First runoff experience for girls. Loaded both pots with approx. 2.5 ltr each in 4 stages of 500-700ml. Runoff 100-150ml from each. Runoff PH 5.9. Nutrients for this watering were same as on previous week and added only calmag. Next watering possibly Friday but with new measurements.
14/11 day 37
Both 🍌💜👊 girls started preflower on same day. Xena is catching up quick to her larger sister and possibly soon they will be sharing this growing space 50/50
15-16/11 days 38-39
Just happy and healthy days 😁 nice steady growth.
17/11 day 40
Second watering for this week. 5.5l beetwen both. Runoff Ph 6.1
19/11 day 42
Most busiest day so far. Both girls got very bushy in last few days and they stretched enough to install scrog net. Before installing net applied selective defoliation on both girls. 8-10 fan leaves from each.

Today is Day 50 !! We have started flower an they are just looking amazing! We have switched up the nutrients for flower, instead of 1 tsp bloom and 3 tsp of veg , we just swap 3 tsp of bloom and 1 tsp of veg !! Can’t wait to see what these laddies do this week!!

There getting more thirsty one White Widow its fan leaves turned sideways, gave it more water it turned back. Up to .5 Litre every 3rd day. Leaves are still turning on one plant. So far no nutrients other than the soil.

When will this end? lol
Pretty cold week, temp dropped to 12°c @ night
So the top 2 huge colas are like 30% amber
The middle big buds are like 10% amber and the small lowest buds are like 80% cloudy with no amber
I think tomorrow(friday 10/02 first day of week 16) will harvest i dunno i think there's no benefits of letting her live more, i know its not 100% perfect but i think the combination of the very ambery top colas with the middle ones cloudy will balance the unconsistent ambers on each buds.

Outdoor Auto #2 Sour Diesel

Okay so you may have noticed there is only one sour diesel plant featured this week?
That is because I have put the other plant out bush somewhere alongside a Male auto plant to be open pollinated.
I didn't want the risk of having any of my other plants pollinated so I took the male auto and the sour diesel
a fair ways out into the bush , found a protected spot and will leave them both there for atleast a week or until
the male has well and truly released pollen into the air.
Once I feel that the plants have had their "sexy time" I will collect some extra pollen for freezer storage
before pulling up the male and bringing the sour diesel plant back home to finish off the seed production process.
By doing it this way I hope to get quite a few "auto" beans to play with 😎
* Now for a quick report on the other plant that is still here and flowering.
She is finally starting to put on a little bit of bulk and smell which is encouraging. 😀
The bio bloom and worm castings reall made a difference I feel .
That is about it for this week , When I go out to check on the ones out bush I will take the camera so I can get some snaps.
