Over all this was really fun to grow ! I had a good time and I learned a lot from growing this strain . The yield was pretty good got a wet weight of 412 grams ( no stems mostly just solid buds ) they smell faaaaaaannnnnnntaaaaassstic Im going to let them cure for a good bit then put in my dry weight . As i described earlier when I was checking trichs Id take little nugs away as i smoked them GG#1 tasted like disel and GG#2 tasted like disel with a hint of chocolate and berries . Overall a deffinate recommended strain to grow for anyone out there be it a beginner or pro . Id like to give a big shout out to ALL the people who come down to diarys an help me learn you guys are the bomb . This week ill try to switch over to an English diary because the translation is absolutely crap and i might learn a thing or two about the English terms in growing, also because the American and Canadian researchers extended the growing knowlegde in an absolute insane tempo and i would probably get most of my information from them. I don't have a spelling-check on this pc, therefore i apologize in advance ;). I uploaded some photo's with crappy lighting (Next grow ill switch day-night rythm and should give me better opportunities for photo's, but we'll get to that in the future) but also i short video of some notes which i will elaborate below: Last week on saturday i turned off the carbon vent because i could not get the humidity level right and i was still waiting for my humidifier. I placed a big fan inside the tent for air circulation and besides that i installed a small vent-filling fan in in front for clean-airflow. Last weekend i closely watched what the humidity and temperature did and started playing with the setup. All the changes i made in the tent last week are: 06-02: - Shut down carbon vent - Added rotation fan inside - Added small front-fan for clean airflow 07-02: - Added humidifier (setting 55%) - Dropped HPS 600W about 15 cm's to 110 cm height 08-02: - Humidifier setting 60% 09-02: - Dropped HPS 600W about 20 cm's to 90 cm's height 10-02: - Front fan on 2 instead of 1 11-02: - No changes because all is stable 12-02: - Placed humidifier at the back instead of the side of plants - Dropped HPS 600W 15 cm's again to 75 cm's height - Moved the inside fan more to the top-back of the tent (more facing downwards) - Opened up a vent-hole in the top of the tent for a little warmth release From the moment i turned off my carbon vent last week the sprouts started flourishing, especially when i added the humidifier. All the changes, noting, and looking at them how they pose, reading blogs and learning have brought me to the point that i think i stabelized it. Allthough i am going to turn on the carbon vent sooner or later (i might do this tomorrow) i need to pay attention again because i'm predicting it will drain the humidifier in a higher speed and that means i have to refill approx. 15 liters in 2 days? The tank is 5.5 liter and at the moment i refill it every evening, so thats already 11 liters in 2 days. I'm really expecting it to increase significantly i ill keep my notebook ready. :p I'm also a bit worries it will be so warm in my tent because the outside temperature is pretty cold, and that might also be the reason the temperature doesen't go above 28 degrees anymore. Okay enough about the tent setup changes. Lets talk plants. After the transplant last week to their end-pot these auto's started to grow immediately and i think they did really well this week. Since the humidifier got added to the tent, every morning the plants praise their "Hallelujah" pose which is really pleasing to watch... **Last weeks's first time watering in the big pots:** 06-02 around 09.00: - 750ml around the side - 750ml around the middle area - 750ml with nutrients spreaded around the pots All is equally divided through 4 plants. This week's watering and nutrients: 08-02 around 16.00: - 750 ml around the pot - 750 ml with nutrients 11-02 around 10.00: - 500ml around - 500ml around - 500ml with nutrients 12-02: - Sprayed Vita Race first time 4ml in 750 ml and sprayed about 15% of it on the leaves, no drups, mostly nebula. The vita race really made the leaves shine, also within 1,5 hours all moist was took in or evaporated, Today probably again around 1600 ill water them again but ill hold the next vita race for tomorrow or something. as long as the plants shine the same i don't know if it's neccasary? Okay, last but not least.... This week on wednesday i kinda mis-read some shit on internet and topped 3 of my 4 plants. I think it went okay, because they don't seem to stressed about it. They still flourish and hallelujah on! Still i'm pretty worried because i made the cut right next to the nodes which isen't the best thing (learning phase :p)...... The reason i topped 3 outta 4 because i wanted to see if i diden't stress the smallest one, he would out-grow the others, but that does absolutely not seem to be the case. Also i think it's a great way to learn by not stressing one plant to see the differences, i want this first grow not to be about end results but more about learning and developing my own personal experience and point of view. Oh PS, i also drilled all the holes to prepare for LST, but i think they were kinda to small on 10-02 when i drilled it. I'm going to watch the recovery from the topped plants closely coming week and maybe start with LST. Stay tuned while this noob messes around with Auto Critical Orange Punch of Dutch Passion.

Enjoyable week 3 has passed. Growth speed picked up noticeably and I did practically nothing besides adjusting the lamp distance and transplanting into the final 7L fabric pot. Added mycorrhizae at transplant and gave her 200 ml of water. PPFD now sits at roughly 500.

This girl is a beast. Not just a beast. One of the bestiest in the room. Is bestiest a real word? Probably not. Do I care? Absolutely not. 😂💎 Because Black Diamond Auto Pheno A has entered another level of flower development, and every time I look at her, I find myself thinking the same thing: What the hell are you building? She's big. She's loaded. She's stacking flowers everywhere. And now she's getting cleaned up a little because even a beast needs a little grooming. Let's make her shine. Because she absolutely deserves the spotlight. 🌱 One Room. Twelve Personalities. For anyone discovering the diary for the first time, welcome to the 8×8 Adventure. This project is about something I absolutely love about growing: genetics reveal themselves when you give them the opportunity. Twelve different plants. One room. One general environment. One 12/12-from-seed approach. The same lighting strategy. The same nutritional program. The same irrigation philosophy. The same grower. And yet... completely different plants. Some stretch. Some stay compact. Some build huge central flowers. Some spread themselves across the canopy. And then there's Black Diamond Pheno A. She seems to have decided: "Why choose?" Tall? Yes. Branchy? Yes. Flower everywhere? Yes. Big flowers? Yes. Lower flowers developing properly? Apparently yes. And now... beast mode. 💎🔥 💎 The Beast Is Still Building At around 169 cm, she remains one of the larger plants in the room. But by now, her height isn't what catches my attention first. It's the amount of flower she's carrying. This girl has continued doing exactly what she showed us last week: building substantial flowering structures throughout the plant. The central flower is impressive. But then you look down the branches... and there's another one. And another. And another. This is what makes her so fascinating. She's not simply relying on one enormous top flower. She's distributing her production throughout her architecture. And some of those lower flowers are becoming seriously substantial. The word "popcorn" is becoming increasingly difficult to justify when the flowers down there are starting to look like proper little colas themselves. 😂 ✂️ Even the Beast Needed a Cleanup This week, we did give her a little attention. We defoliated her. Not because she was unhealthy. Not because she was desperately asking to be stripped. And certainly not because I suddenly believe every plant needs the same treatment. It's because we're growing in a full room. That's an important distinction. If Black Diamond were growing completely by herself, I might have left considerably more of that beautiful foliage exactly where it was. But she isn't alone. She's sharing the room. She's sharing the available space. She's sharing the airflow. She's sharing the light. And when a plant becomes this dense, sometimes you have to make some decisions based on the entire ecosystem rather than the individual plant alone. So we opened her up. We removed selected leaves. We created a little more breathing room. We cleaned some areas that had become crowded. And honestly? She looks fantastic. 🍃 Goodbye to Some Beautiful Leaves And this is the part that always makes me hesitate. Because there were some beautiful leaves in there. Healthy. Large. Green. Perfectly capable of doing their job. But sometimes even a beautiful leaf has reached the point where removing it makes sense for the overall structure. There were also a few older leaves that were naturally ready to come out. So this wasn't about removing foliage for the sake of removing foliage. It was about looking at the plant as she exists today and deciding: Where does this leaf still contribute most? And where is it simply adding another layer of congestion? That's the kind of defoliation I like. Selective. Purposeful. And respectful of the plant. We're not trying to turn a Black Diamond into a skeleton. We're simply giving the beast a little room to breathe. 👀 A Few Little Imperfections And while we're showing the beautiful side of this girl, I also want to document the little imperfections. There are a few minor burned tips and some small spots appearing on some leaves. Nothing that takes away from the overall picture. The plant remains outstanding. But I'm keeping an eye on them. Could it be related to the intensity of the feeding? Could some of the damage be associated with environmental or mechanical stress, including airflow? There isn't enough evidence from the photographs alone for me to confidently blame one specific cause. And that's okay. Sometimes the correct answer in a diary is: "I'm watching it." That's exactly where I am with this. The important thing is the overall plant. And overall? She's absolutely crushing it. 💎🌿 🌸 The Flowers Are Becoming Serious The flower development is probably the most exciting part of this week's update. The flowers are getting increasingly established. Calyxes are stacking. Pistils are still showing prominently. The structure is becoming denser. And the resin coverage is becoming increasingly visible. Those close-up photographs really show the progression. This isn't early flower anymore. We're watching flowers become flowers. The architecture we've been observing for weeks is now turning into something much more substantial. And because there are so many flowering sites distributed throughout this plant, every week makes the overall picture more impressive. The central cola is beautiful. But honestly... I keep getting distracted by everything else. 😂 ❄️ And That Frost... Another thing that continues to catch my eye is the increasing frost. The sugar leaves are becoming visibly coated. The developing flowers are carrying more and more resin. And the whole plant is starting to take on that increasingly frosty appearance that makes you want to get the macro lens out immediately. This is one of those stages where the plant seems to change almost every time you photograph her. One week you notice the flower structure. The next week you notice the resin. Then suddenly you realize the flowers have become considerably larger. That's why documenting these plants week after week is so much fun. You don't just see the final result. You get to see the transformation. 💡 Light From Above and Below And Black Diamond remains a fascinating plant for observing the relationship between canopy structure and light distribution. The main Future of Grow lighting provides the primary illumination from above. And the Lumiflora under-canopy lighting gives us another layer of illumination lower in the plant. With a phenotype like this, that becomes particularly interesting. Because there are flowers everywhere. Not just at the top. Not just around the main stem. Throughout the branches. And after the selective defoliation, we've opened some additional space through the canopy. So now I'm even more curious to see how those different levels continue developing as flowering progresses. here we see how the girls are advancing, the buds are becoming clearer and clearer which makes us feel that it will be a decent harvest at least, we cross our fingers.

A couple days from ripened nanners and they should start cumming all over the place. Will be saving this (what I believe to be) very special pollen and crossing with some of the lower bud sites on the slurricane that remains in the garden. Will also allow the polyploid cola to pollinate itself and collect the S1's. Very excited for these nanners

The situation is starting to get super interesting also for our Zamnesia photoperiods, we have new and very different strains that are expressing themselves very well, Karen Kush, Test 1, Test 2, Cosmic Noodles and Runtz are already making my mouth water, it is the grass that I will be consuming during the magical Christmas and end of year periods, it must be done well to give nice trips to me and those who are with me. The Cosmic Noodles that is growing straight has become my favorite and I will explain why- --- Plant 1 - The Cosmic Noodles is a marvel for the eyes. So the result at the end as far as i can remember. Was 280g dry!! I dont know why i cannot chose dry weight, i dont weigh my plants wet. Let the plant hang for around 12 days. Middle plant was like 80 or smt, the both other plants were like 100. Due to the regulations of the state i grow in, i did in fact throw away everything past the allowed amount! What a shame but gotta do what we gotta do.

Flowering Day 28 So far, everything looks good, and the buds are stacking well. Today was hopefully the last time I had to supercrop. In a few days, they'll be getting compost tea again.

As December is near the growth is slower than would like but is still thriving with more stretching happening for the side branches and the mini side branches start to stretch as well one side branch I recently topped is recovering and can see development at a decent rate hoping for some start of pre flowering signs within the week or 2 she’s really been stretching outwards I lollipop some of the weaker underdeveloped branches so can focus more energy on the healthier parts of the plant

14 days, the girl looks great, a little wrinkled due to the humidity which is only 40-45%, but I don't know if all this will soon resolve itself, I just need to water it more often :) this week I'm changing the light to mars sp150 which will stay until the end of growth :) I'm giving the girl 6.3 ph water with 2 ml of heaven :) good luck to everyone.
