Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. D36-rain has been coming down every single day it seems. Plant is flowering along, going to spray neem oil by end of the week to deter pests. D37-neem oil sprayed on plants medium and fabric pot. D38-rain and humidity the past couple days. Weeks outlook though is a high of 97, sunny and night temp of no lower than 60. Summer season is officially here :) I have really been doing nothing to this plant except making sure it was watered and in the sunlight. Adding nutes per schedule helps tremendously also with one extra step taken out of the equation. D39-plant is growing and showing good bud sites. Nothing but abundant sunshine this week. Noticed a good amount of trichomes already forming on some leaves, as well as at the base of the side branches. D40-hand watered half gallon as it is brutally hot and sunny. Plant looks good. D41-noticed fungus gnat infestation. Applied neem like crazy to saturate medium. Heck..

Another good week generally speaking. The girls are drinking a lot but nothing crazy. Things are wrapping up here in this tent shortly. This girl is done! Looking at the trichomes she's already amber on the buds. I can't believe how quick that was! Really impressed with the smell too. Will look to run this in the future if I need to run an auto. ### Day 22 ### Jeej, the last week of vege! She looks to respond pretty well to the LST, I see nice new growth everywhere. She is also very dence as shown in the video up above. I hope she will get a mayor stretch when starting to flower. I'm already very proud of how this little plant is turning out. 😁🌱 Also ordered some biobizz top max and bio heaven to boost flowering when it happens. ### Day 23 ### Decided to add more LST, a lot more LST (like 7 wires extra in addition to the 2 initial ones)! 😂 Was a little hard because of the density, but it worked out. I think only one budsight does not have access to direct light. I just could not get it in the right place, oh well, there looks to be enough others 😋. Hope she is not stressed too much, some of the bends are pretty hard, but she is still flexible. After reviewing the photos again I realized that I'm growing her in kind of a spiral. ### Day 24 ### Started the day by tucking the bigger leafs underneath the small ones who need more light. She looks happier now! Also watered her 0.6l with nutrients, the soil was becoming pretty dry and it was 3 days ago since her last watering. ### Day 25 ### Pretty uneventful day. She is still liking the LST, like a lot! Readjusted the LST and tucked the bigger leaves under. There is only one part of new growth I'm concerned about! It is in the middle of the top view picture, so it is from a few nodes before, but looks terrible in comparison to the rest of the plant. Like it was eaten by something. Hopefully she will rebound from this. ### Day 26 ### I put some cardboard in a V shape in front of the intake fan to defuse the airflow more. Now the new growth that had problems yesterday looks a little better, the brown red-ish is fading away. Windburn is a real thing apparently 😲 Did a lot of LST again today, trying to stay ahead of the growth. ### Day 28 ### The last day of week 4. Did some more heavy LST to make sure all potential budsights get enough light. The growth that was struggling a few days ago is doing a lot better and seems to be recovering.

Venga familia ya viene la cosecha de estas Gorilla Girl F1 de Sweetseeds, que ganas que tenía ya de darles machetazo. Para empezar es buena variedad un poco tardía de lo que dicen pero me encantó cultivarla , aún con la plaga de trips que sufrí las 2 últimas semanas aguantaron y sacaron buenas flores. Las flores aparte se ven resinosas. La planta pues si creció vigorosa , no tiene mucho satélite es más porra central. a sido una genética con la que disfruté bastante, fue muy fácil cultivarla. Great last few weeks. Strains from sweet seed dominating. Smells. Incrediable. And i have never see a plant that alter smell between nugs such as these auto. Some. Nugs smell like banana strawberry some like lemon pledge. And others. Old clothes. And just dank cheese all on one plant ttruly incrediable to witness as a cannabis adventurer
