Another healthy week of good growth. On day 14 I top dressed amendments and casting. Will be the last bit of castings I will add unless the medium settles low by mid flower. Soil is picked with castings and has active worms so not much need for any more. I also mulched with dry straw and soaked some in water and molasses for a few days and replaced the dry with the soaked. She is developing her fifth node so I will be topping either today or tomorrow. I’ve also started fermenting some fpj for next feed. She’s only been watered when top dressed this week soil is still moist and not needing water. Will see you next week

So I set up the veg room at last since I want to flip the main plant. That meant light proofing it, which I did with air con putty, myler blanket layers and A LOT of duct tape. It's not pretty but I hope it will get the job done! Perpetual grow is the grow, harvesting every 2 months. The clone I made from topping got transplanted to a solo cup, and I can see a root through the clear inside cut so I guess she is doing her thang., Also added lights to the flower booth so it should have 153w. Put 4 led bulbs with the tops popped off to see how they go, apparently, they are more economical than cfls? And I am considering what to do for side lighting, leds might be a choice because they have a lower profile, Or LED strips? Or fluorescent tubes? I guess it's not neccisary for this grow but in the future. I've tied down the main branches so I think they will all have their own space to get light. I think I've done enough training to flip. Can't wait for her to start flowering :)

Mi propósito las primeras semanas va a ser conseguir un buen sistema radicular y una compactación extrema con luces, después todo vendrá fácil! En la temporada anterior conseguí mejorar mucho el sistema radicular con respecto a la anterior, pero creo que ahora puedo mejorarlo todavía más... grandes raíces dan grandes plantas! The experience was good. Easy grow and attractive plant. I wouldn't grow autos with 1212 again tho. Only if in 20/4 because I think yield was effected dramatically. Maybe not, but in going to testit next veg cycle to tell. Beautiful plant otherwise tho. Violets and purple hues.

Girls are really full on flowering!!! They all seem super happy! Been trying to get on a better flushing regiment as it seems to really help around harvest with salt build up using general hydroponics nutrients. I can already see some buildup around the fabric pots. Gonna do a basic pesticide foliar spray with azomax. I don’t see any pests but I’d like to keep it that way esp since I’m flowering now. But everything is going as planned and keeping a watchful eye on them. Oh and also did a little defoliation again...the Maui seems to just keep bushing out while the dosi just wants to stretch!! Super impressed with the genetics and resilience of these 2 strains
