Happy Weekend Growmies, you are all well 😊 Reds been growing away nicely this week, ive got the light at 16 inches and just keeping an eye out for any light burn. Shes still got a bit of clawing as you can see from the video, but i haven't fed her this week apart from the canna boost and its definitely got better. Il give her another weak feed next week but this strain dosent seem to need allot of nutes. Those lovely purple colours have now started to come through with the lower night time temps and shes loooking grand, i never stop marvelling at the beauty of this plant 😊 Thats all from me this week, thanks for stopping by ✌️

Mainlining is progressing nicely. The main stem was topped at the 3rd node, and each main branch was topped again at the 3rd node to build a clean and symmetrical manifold. I always wait until the branches have 5 nodes before topping, to make sure the plant is strong enough to handle the stress. This week I performed a selective defoliation and some light LST, only to guide the branches and keep everything level. I’m still deciding between 8 or 12 main colas, depending on how the plant continues to respond. In the video you can clearly see the before and after of defoliation and training 🌱💪

End of Week 4 Trying to make sure the soil stays nice and moist to keep the microbes happy and letting the top 3 cm of the topsoil dry before each watering. . Turned the wattage up on my ballasts to 600W each. The ladies have gained some strength and they can handle the extra wattage. I also performed LST by tucking fan leaves and softly pinching and bending some of the bud sites also used some tie downs and topped here and there whilst keeping the stress at a minimal.

Flowering day 10 and the stretch starts to show. Defenitely had some CalMag issues but increasing the dose helped. Also read that the strain is quite CalMag hungry in general. STIXX50 is now at 80%.

GENERAL COMMENT. WEEK 5 OF FLOWER. Ok guys, this week ran ok for one girl and less for her sister, so i will go on details individually. RQS STRESS KILLER AUTOMATIC COMMENT. Beautiful girl getting bigger everyday, i’m very satisfied overall, she is fast and have lots of terpenes, and started heavy resin production. Super strong, absolutely no issue at all for now. I’m imagining to start flushing this week or the next will decide this days to come, but this grow will be max 12 weeks. Not reading the runoff on this girl as everything is just amazing. Maybe will backbuild some colas to compare. EC at 2.2, released a lot of N now, but still did a good feeding, it might be the last, or max one more before the flush. Will be flushing with flawless finish in the last week.

So this week after I gave it under nutrients I apparently gave it too much nitrogen while having a potassium deficiency. Shiney dark leaves, So i fixed that, but some didn't bounce back, and I tried nitrogen. I think they are doing pretty good considering everything I've put them through SO FAR. lol. Nutrients are NPK Raw's total lineup, follow their instructions at first, Fastbuds adjustments as of this week.

21 days! The GWK cross is really going for it, really really happy that I did not ditch it of it stretched way to much as a seedling. The HBSS cross on the other hand is still super bushy, very healthy but bushy, not what I am looking for in a plant but it is what it is. Did not see any deficiencies or nutrient burn, guess I am hitting it spot on. Had to bend down the GWK cross so that the lower shoots got more time to reach upwards. Overall a very good week, even with the summer heat all goes just fine. Values are average of the day. So, here we are in the final week. I think it’s been a laborious but pleasant journey. In retrospect, I believe things went well, even with some mistakes I made along the way: 1-At first, I thought the Gorilla Z seeds were actually Gorilla Cookies (yeah, I know—big mistake from a small detail). So I planned a 12-week cycle for those plants, only to later realize they were actually 10-week strain. I don’t think that was the right decision either, because while 12 weeks might have been a bit too long, 10 weeks definitely wouldn’t have been enough to fully develop their genetic potential. 2-Following the same logic with the Gorilla Z, the Atlas F1—originally a 10-week strain—would probably have benefited from an extra week, making it 11 weeks total (at least with my setup and nutrients). 3-I think I may have put too much stress on the plants during the LST process, which reduced the final height of most of them. I think all three genetics are very resilient and strong—especially Gorilla Z, Afghan Pearl stands out as a particularly stable and resistant strain. As for Atlas F1, even though it was the one I neglected the most (sorry about that), it still showed impressive overall stability and resilience. tomorrow morning gonna cut them.

Harvest Day

Really happy with the amount of growth this week both girls seem happy with the setup so far. I have had a few signs of nutrient burn on both plants but thankfully I don’t think it’s too bad. I am not sure if I have maybe feed them too quickly or too much this week.🤔 I tested the run off for the first time and got a reading of 400ppm so I need to figure that out for the next feed 😐 Not much else to report this week. ✌️🙃
