Zamnesia's Georgia Pie #1 performed that miracle I love so much: a magical foliage at the end pushed the leaves to a very dark purple/black color. Beautiful, absolutely beautiful. I dare say, cannabis is magical, but this color change process at the end is part of the magic in its own right. The plant, like many American strains, flowers in clusters, which doesn't mean it's any less good. Not seeing the swords is scary, but the Americans, through hybridization, have created magnificent strains with flavors, tastes, and especially resin formation that are rare in European cannabis. The genetics are Gelatti x Kush Mintz, and as I always say, where there's Kush Mintz, there's Magic. Always. The strain is a balanced day/night indica/sativa and has very, very sweet aromas that herald a mind-blowing taste. The trichomes are very beautiful and fantastic in the purple areas. They're around 20% Amber, 50% Cloudy, and 30% Clear. The plant is slightly more Indica, and I don't want to let it ripen too much. That's fine with me. The pistils are very, very mature, around 90%. It's a plant with well-proportioned, medium internodal spacing. This strain is much-loved; there are many good and famous versions, but ours here at Zamnesia is the best of all. We grew it in a classic 6.5-liter square plastic pot and then transplanted it into a 19-liter airpot. The flowers are all excellent quality, and the yield is excellent. I think 50-70 grams, trimmed and pruned, not a normal-sized plant trimmed. This one was processed with 16 toppings. August 18, Day 28. Had to flush on Friday due to nutrient lockout. There were purple stems which caught my attention to a possible nutrient deficiency. Coupled by the dark green older fan leaves and bright green of new growth, my Apera TDS meter confirmed nutrient lockout. Kaboom was flushed a total of 4 times Friday night, then foliar fed at 25% strength the next morning. She was given 1.1 liters of pHd water since the top inch was already dry despite flushing the night before. I am taking her thirst to mean she is recovering well. I plan on resuming the GH least aggressive feed schedule tomorrow and will begin feeding with every watering. Now that she's on the mend from the nutrient lockout I can tell she's thirstier than what she used to be, I'm taking that to mean she's hanging in there. Friends, growmies, cousins, comrades, colleagues and cultivars. Updates last week were minimal because this plant mama came down with COVID. Flushing a plant during COVID fever is no joke. Stay well and healthy everyone. August 19, Day 29. Fed at least aggressive strength today until 25% runoff. Included a new supplement to the nutrient line up, silica. Today is the first time I use it so I went easy and used the weakest dose. Plant has 5 main sites so far, yahoozie. To top a second time? No se todavia, deja lo pienso jajaja August 21, Day 31.Topped one more time, clipped the tallest point to give the others time to catch up. I know I will need to defoliate a tiny bit, soon, but I'm a bit scared to remove either too much or a mega vital leaf. I'll watch videos about it and aim for next week. I sprayed the top inch with pH'd water and will feed and water tomorrow morning. August 22, Day 32. Fed and watered, no recharge since I used it on Day 29. As I repositioned the kabob sticks, I noticed a couple of milestones - she is in the very beginning stages of forming pistils and she is beginning to smell. I plan on keeping her in veg for at least 2 more weeks, hopefully this isn't super ambitious for a plant named Kaboom lol 😂 August 24, Day 34. I checked on Kaboom and found that the top inch was totally dry so I fed and watered her. I used everything except recharge, but will use it at next feeding since I'm aiming for 10 days in between applications. I think Kaboom is looking fabulous

Welp she started dying in her 2 gal pot so I moved the light back up and put her in a new 5 gal pot then she went into flower mode lol the lights will stay 18 hrs on for another week to let some of the other plants catch up

So when seedstockers asked if I wanted to test some 3rd gen genetics I obviously obliged, now having grown a few of seedstockers beans previously I can certainly say I wasn't expecting this, I have topped, lollypopped, cut in half as they outgrew my space twice, super cropped, removed whole branches, double scrog - yes these are autos !!! My first ever harvest went great! I trimmed 3 different ways as well as flushed for different amounts of time. 24hr flush and wet trim with bowl trimmer, dried on dry rack. Aprox 4 ounces as i was smoking it soon as it dried, small buds first. 🤷‍♂️🏻 3 day flush. Wet trimmed by hand. Hung to dry. 119 grams Last two ladies were the bushy ones. I let them flush for a full week and then hung to dry. We hand trimmed them both(not as close of trim) to make edibles and oils with. 412 grams! I think I did pretty well on my harvest. I have over a pound of bud! I’m all smiles!

Looking nice smells nice can not wait for the fruits to ripen was going to start a flush on the gorilla skittles but still clear to milky not orange yet so will stop nutrients bloom and just overdrive 👌👍 other 2 have a xtra couple weeks any way thank you for looking

So... I may have got baked and had one of those.... "I know what will be a good idea.!" I give you Frankenstoned early Lst lol I know I am a novice and have no right to be messing with things that already exist, and the weighted lst has probably been done many times already but I was having fun, I had a silly stoned idea, and just for shits n giggles, I made it happen, and for me this growing thing has to be fun right? Humour aside, it actually seems to work lol. I find I am a little heavy handed and a bit clumsy trying to tie things down. I recently accidentally snapped one of my criticals branches off so my little system allows me to just lift the wires up and tuck it under at strategic points.. It is quite early to be training I guess but the wire gently pushes down on the stem.. It looks heavy handed but it is actually quite gentle... So let's see if it works or not.. I am only trying it on this 1 subject.. I am expecting for the Mazar to pull up on the weights as it fattens up but I have allowed space on the bolts to add more weight.. Other than this revelation (or massive cock up) lol. The Mazar has been struggling in the heat a bit but surviving.. Let me know your thoughts, happy growing lovely people

Feb 27 Swapped over to an 18/6 light schedule a couple days back. Getting some really good perking-up during sleep. Not quite ready for LST yet.

Plants are responding well, still on a very light regimen, using only compost tea, declorinated tap water. Stem is thick, and strong, has a many colas shooting up with minimal training at the moment. Leaf color is vibrant, and dark. Using compost tea in the third watering as usual. > Compost tea with a twist #3 - 1 cup earth worm castings -1/4 of a cup bokashi -5 tsp recharge -1 tsp shell flour -1 tsp azomite Did not have organic molasses so preferred not to put anything, as the recharge and the bokash i use have some, originally is better to use some in pure form like 1/3 of a cup. EC after 24h is around 0.5 - 0.6, ph close to neutral. So used in pure form, possible to dilute if needed. So far I did not PH the water, only filtering it, gave a bit up on RO for now as the water discard is just insane... probably takes 2 gallons + to make one pure... Just not ecologic... so I have detached the membrane for now and am using two filtering steps, carbon and another one... This diary is probably the nightmare of any nutrient company. Note that Recharge is not needed or azos, I’m using because I have laying around here, a substitute would be some sprout seed tea. My choice for the organic, was to be able to abort ph, have a cleaner product, try something new, and reuse my soil...
