Looking good so far, got a little bit of light burn at beginning of week but not to bad. Plants are really starting to shoot up now that the roots have hit the water. Topped all 4 at beginning of week 3 for LST prep. AC unit in tent is keeping it around 21 Celsius and water is keeping between 18-20 Celsius naturally so far. When the lights go up from 600w to 1000w though my tent will hit 25+ Celsius so I am currently testing a new water cooled thermoelectric peltier reservoir water cooler I built and I will be installing soon. So far testing it I can bring a 5gal bucket of water from 25 Celsius to 10 Celsius in about 6 hrs. So we will see what it can do with about 20gal of water in my set up once my lights get turned up. I will be posting pics/video once I get it all figured out. So far it’s way cheaper then a commercial water chiller and seems to work good.

Week 8 today VPD 1.2 Ec 0.8 run off 0.9 PH 5.7 run 5.7 Over vert over last few weeks but guys this is normally a 8 week strain what else could be showering down there progress, fresh new white growth appearing at week 8 I’m pritty new to growing this is my 3rd run advice needed hear, Led Zeus 600 pro at 300mm hanging at75% Lumi black 720 at 350mm hanging at 75% Should I knock back the clock to lower DLI ? Should increase ? They not finishing up to how they should do ? I did strip at day 21 and a small amount agin at day 42 could this be the reason. Help me out please

Hello friends. I've not done anything really to her this week. She asked for nothing really.. maybe the odd bedtime story but otherwise she is just resting and recovering from last week's toppings. She has pushed new growth that has supposed me. I need to cut off the next set of nodes but I think I may wait a few days and do the final topping all in one hit. I can't get her into flowering room for another 6-8 weeks so I have some good time to shape her into a sixteen cola mega beast..(I hope). If I do the copy chop cho later this week ishall update some pics of the torture.. ...update..... Did the final topping for 16. She has some interesting variations in growth rates at each node.. I think all the twisting has an effect on how the next node grows. I think I see a way by twisting the branch through a full rotation between nodes you can affect how the next branch set grows... It's just an observation ATM but I will maybe experiment with another plant to test this. She seems okay after the torture. welcome to my next grow 🌱 today is 📅Day 1 of germination 3/9/2021 I would like to say a few words about this grow. I have a new sponsor in Mars Hydro they have assisted me in getting a TS 1000 and it arrives tomorrow so I'm very exited. this grow is also brought to you by Sweet Seeds they were nice enough to send the 🌱 I have been using of late I am starting this grow with paper towel that has been soaked in plain tap water and when the tap root shows I will move the 🌱 to the Rockwell cube. the cube is soaked in tap water with some drops of root starter Update 📅 Day 2 of germination still no tap root so the wait continues lol. The big news is I got my Mars Hydro TS1000 today and now it is all set up and boy she is bright. I love my Aglex lights but this bad boy has no cob lights and put out 2X more lux than my 1200w Aglex !!! the Aglex 1200w puts out 28,164 lux The Mars Hydro TS 1000 has a crazy high 54,955 lux at max output I mean I have to add my Aglex 600w cob next to the 1200w to even get to within 10,000 LUX Update 📅 Day 4 of germination 3/12/2021 I have both of the 🌱 germinating under the Mars Hydro TS1000 they will most likely pop out of the cube by tomorrow. This TS1000 is grate for germination as I can dim the 💡

👉Day49- fixed some LST so plants had the max light possible and did defoliation,i noticated 2/5plants have toooons of tricones but rest 3 olmost nothing 😣....some new yelow leafs start to show on 1plant. it grows so fast. The lower leaves are shaded and away from the light. So I cut them as the plant gets taller I really don't have a good setup to be able to clean my roots. I tried this week anyway. I watered each pot with 2L (not enough I think :/) of water at 450PPM PH: 7 then after I gave 1L of water at 900PM PH: 5.5. There was a big puddle in the room afterwards. But it wasn't that hard to clean up after all. In 5 minutes with a rag and a bucket ------------------------------------------------ -Daytime temperature: 24-29°C -Night temperature: 22-27°C -Humidity: 50-75% ( Too high but it's hard to lower it... I need advice please contact me if you have :) ) -Lamp: Mars Hydro FC3000. intensity 80% at 40cm from the top leaves -Room: Mars Hydro 100x100x180cm -Extractor: Mars hydro 402 CFM Max. power 3/10 -Substrate : 70% coco, 25% perlite, 5% vermiculite. day 49 just pure water phed down. it is day 51, morning before lights on, I might chop today. I use a zero water filter pitcher got off walmart. My humidifier is only a sonic wave. If you use regular tap water it will get gunky in a sonic humidifier. If you have a heat humidifier that boils the water the mist should be clean. These are the 2 types of water humidifiers. Researching best water filters this "zero water" also comes with a free ppm meter! yay! Other water pitcher brands; the water still has ppm. So water misted will still have ppm contamination. You can easily used distilled water only, and reverse osmosis. I just fill a 4gal office water jug with the pitcher and fill my humidifier when needed. I do not use a humidifier in my entire grow up to this point when I chop, I need the perfect rh or this whole effort can fail. growing up to this point only requires 20% effort, chopping now for the 2 weeks dry is this 80% of crucial determination, succeed. A lot of tasks are required today for a clean chop. I feel confident, observed my cross seeds with pink paradise and one with a slightly open caylex looks dark enough for successful germination. I figured 8-16 seeds may be created, 3-4 buds were potentially pollinated. Many growers don't understand when creating genetics with female/female there is a slight chance of herm. You lose 50% of your genetic function. Just water last 2 days, no humic no folvic, 1st time entire grow ha! There is a lot of cleaning to do, remove the trees, clean the entire tent and environment with bleach water, hacksaw. I am very proud of my grow. I have sampled 3 of the strains, dr. thunder legit made my lips numb but it could have just been the terps removing my skin cells from the sticky filter, no lie. This is my best grow to date. I did this for you, and to document hype or not under the best conditions I could give my plants, full max potential, although I wish I had more lights, I am not looking for industrial lol, this is how I grow. Learn a lot on youtube and podcasts there is many good content and I may dab into it. You can have a room full of growers and you have 1 seed in your hand, they will all tell you that their way is correct ;) and the best way. Oreo is stinky AF, Bridal is just amazing glad its massive, just not into sativa but the test seemed slight sativa with majority indica, pink untested, dr, thunder just a lip numming plant aha, its very nice, all 4 amazing appeal like advertised, and excited for next run. Either crosses from this or other copycat genetics. I will give you beautiful glamout shots today, the sizes of the plants, My guesstimate bridal 1lb, thunder 1lb, pink, 0.4lb, bridal 0.5, I am ambitious off 640w lm301h, and 4x 20w blurples daisy chained. day 51 4 chopped see you in a few weeks :D

Had some sunset sherbert left over from last year so I have more than usual with this plant going put half outside in the ground and the other half to flower in the tent going attempt to take cuttings of one plant

Day 40: They got recoverd from overwatering. Leafs got darker because I gave them more nutrients, but gained early signs of slightly overfeeding ( Burnt tips on leafs). I had to boost them to fix it because there isn't much time with autoflowers. Now i only have to adjust my nutrient feeding with just 10 to 15% and its all good. They did stretch again, some growers love it but i think it is ugly and you will gain weak stems. I have to do something about the heat soon, because i want my buds compact and not fluffy. This will happen due lots of heat. I also have to start give them cal/mag, i saw first stages of deficiency. Not a problem when you are early with spotting it. Nice lovely buds so far Thats all for now Day 42: I have been defoliating alot to get the air between the plants. There are still some leafs and branches i want to get rid off, but i don't want them to stress out to much. Also i have killed of 23 smaller plants to make more space for the others. This is always painfull but stupid if you don't do this. If the plants didn't stretch that far due heat and low placed lights, this would not have been the case. I would still have alot of small nice plants. This was more the case for the gorilla's but it had to be said here as well since the Cherry Cola's will profit from it as well. See you guys next week!

Beginning of week 4 so far so good. The girls are reacting well to there training. Vita race from plagron is a game changer. They are super green and healthy everytime I feed them you see the difference.Did some defoliation. Nothing major just removed any leaf overlapping or blocking light to lower parts of the plant.

Week 7 - -Overdrive added -Nugs are weighing the branches down even more - using support from sidewalls of tent -Trichombs are about 20-30% cloudy right now - some browning -Some slight nitro deficiency which was fixed by adding nutes -500ish PPM -5.6-6.2 PH -Warm+Cold days in bay area. Tent is 75-88F. Out door temps are 55-75F -Nugs are huge and almost the size of baseballs. Use a 1 GALLON bottle which seems small vs. nugs

Der Stretch is ist im vollem Gange und den Lady geht es soweit gut ! 2 Der Damen haben ein etwas schlechteres Wachstum,sie wurden etwas mehr aufgebockt um nicht unter zu gehn.Teils wurde ein wenig etwas Untergestellt um das Höhenwachstum den größten Pflanzen anzupassen.Nachdem ich die Pflanzen überprüft habe musste ich leider feststellen das zwei Damen von oben bis unten voller Säcke waren.Diese wurden sofort entfernt ! Bei allen anderen passt alles soweit. 😉

Struggled a bit with heat, had to put a fan over canopy. The hps has made a noticable difference in hardening up the buds. I rhink another 10 days to 14 days left. Update day 49: as recommended by @B4RNS I have reduced the last week of feeding to e.c 1 prior to a week of flushing! New video added with lots of heads!

🌱 8×8 Adventure | Folder 09 Candy Rain – Plant A | Week 4 The Little Survivor Every grow tells a different story, and sometimes the most memorable stories begin with unexpected setbacks. Welcome back to the 8×8 Adventure, a project dedicated to exploring multiple genetics grown 12/12 From Seed inside the same flowering environment. The goal is simple: document every phenotype individually, compare their development under identical conditions, and learn something new from every plant along the way. Folder 09 follows our Candy Rain. Unfortunately, she is the only survivor from this batch. The other seeds didn’t make it, and that’s entirely on us. Growing is a journey of constant learning, and sometimes the greatest lessons come from the mistakes we make. Rather than seeing it as a failure, we’ve chosen to give this little lady all of our attention and let her show us exactly what she’s capable of. Every plant deserves the opportunity to tell its own story. ⸻ 🌿 The 8×8 Adventure This entire project is being grown inside our dedicated 8×8 flowering tent, where every cultivar begins life immediately under a 12 hours ON / 12 hours OFF light schedule. There is no long vegetative period. Instead, every plant develops naturally from seed while already living under flowering conditions, creating unique structures, shorter internodal spacing and allowing us to compare how different genetics react to exactly the same environment. Although every plant shares the same room, nutrients and lighting, each phenotype expresses itself differently. That’s exactly why each folder documents a single plant from start to finish. Candy Rain is proving that point perfectly. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment Despite summer temperatures continuing to challenge the room, the environment has remained remarkably stable. Week 4 Conditions • Light Schedule: 12/12 • Day Temperature: 33°C • Night Temperature: 25°C • Relative Humidity: 63% • pH: 6.1 • EC: 1.35 mS/cm • CO₂: 639 ppm • Pot Size: 15 L Even with daytime temperatures reaching 33°C, the plants continue responding well thanks to stable humidity, strong air circulation and careful environmental management. Consistency is often far more important than chasing perfect numbers. ⸻ 💧 Feeding Programme Candy Rain receives the same balanced Plagron feeding programme as the rest of the room. Current solution per litre: • Terra Grow — 1.8 ml/L • Power Roots — 1 ml/L • Pure Zym — 1 ml/L • Sugar Royal — 1 ml/L The solution is adjusted to pH 6.1, maintaining nutrient availability while supporting healthy root development throughout this early stage. Because this plant is hand-watered, every irrigation becomes another opportunity to inspect the substrate, monitor water consumption and observe her development closely. ⸻ 🌱 Development From the very beginning it became clear that this Candy Rain is developing differently from many of the other plants in the room. She remains significantly smaller, with a naturally compact structure and shorter internodal spacing. While several of her neighbours have already begun stretching into flower, this phenotype seems to prefer building slowly, producing tight growth and a sturdy main stem before committing to vertical expansion. Sometimes 12/12 From Seed reveals exactly these kinds of differences. Certain cultivars explode almost immediately, while others seem to take their time adapting before accelerating later in flower. At this point there is nothing suggesting poor health. Quite the opposite. Her new growth is vibrant, symmetrical and full of life. Every node develops cleanly, her stem continues to strengthen and the fresh growth emerging from the centre has a beautiful healthy colour. She’s simply telling her own story at her own pace. ⸻ 🍃 A Small Setback One detail worth mentioning this week is the damage visible on a few of the older fan leaves. After careful observation, the injury doesn’t resemble a nutritional problem. The new growth remains completely unaffected and the damaged areas are isolated to only a handful of older leaves. The most likely explanation is mechanical wind damage. With strong airflow inside the flowering room, larger fan leaves can occasionally fold onto themselves or vibrate continuously in the same position. Over time this creates dry, burnt-looking patches that may resemble nutrient issues but are actually simple physical damage. Because the affected leaves aren’t getting worse and the new growth remains perfect, no corrective feeding changes were necessary. Sometimes the best decision is simply to observe instead of reacting. ⸻ 🍃 Gentle Training Training remains intentionally minimal. Rather than removing healthy foliage, we continue relying on leaf tucking to expose developing shoots to the available light. By carefully moving larger fan leaves beneath the canopy, lower branches receive more light without reducing the plant’s photosynthetic capacity. This gentle approach allows the plant to continue building energy while maintaining as much healthy foliage as possible during these early stages. Patience often produces better results than unnecessary intervention. ⸻ 🌱 Looking Forward Although Candy Rain currently appears to be one of the smallest plants inside the 8×8 tent, that certainly doesn’t mean she’ll stay that way. Some phenotypes invest heavily in root development before accelerating above the soil. Others naturally remain compact throughout their entire life while producing exceptionally dense flowers. That’s exactly why projects like this are so enjoyable. Every phenotype becomes its own little experiment. Whatever path this Candy Rain decides to follow, she’ll receive exactly the same care, patience and attention as every other plant in the room. Because every seed deserves the opportunity to reach its full potential. ⸻ 💚 Final Thoughts Growing has a funny way of keeping us humble. Sometimes everything goes according to plan. Sometimes we lose seeds. Sometimes one little survivor becomes the most interesting plant in the room. That’s exactly why we document every stage honestly—the successes, the mistakes and everything in between. Every experience teaches something valuable, and every diary becomes another chapter in the journey. A massive thank you to everyone following the 8×8 Adventure.
