1/28/24 - Day 83 - Here we are on day 83 and the trichomes are looking good. I bet one week, if not two weeks before I start to flush with water. There are some photos of the Trichomes a couple of weeks ago and then again today. 1/31/24 - Day 86 - The buds are starting to get FAT and grow outward. Tons of new buds coming from the buds. Sounds werid but the buds are growing buds now. The smell is out of this planet strong. Im looking forward to the next couple of weeks!

Day 36: "Hey everyone! Just a quick update: I removed a few more leaves here and there and did one last round of LST (low stress training). 🌿 The plants are looking great, and I'm going to let them recover now before sending them into the flowering stage. I'm really excited to see them start blooming in 2-3 weeks! Also, a quick update on our temperature issue: today, the temperature stayed below 26.8°C, which is great news! However, we still need to find a solution to keep the humidity levels up. Our 360 m³/h exhaust system isn't able to maintain the required humidity level. I've calculated that we need a humidifier that can evaporate 1800ml/h to maintain 60-70% humidity, which would help manage the temperature better. Does anyone have tips for a good humidifier or other methods to control the humidity and temperature? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Day 37: Hey everyone! Tomorrow, we're planning to buy some Cal-Mag because we suspect the yellowing leaves might be due to a calcium-magnesium deficiency. Another quick update: after increasing the fertilizer yesterday to address the nitrogen deficiency, it should take about 4 to 5 days for the yellow leaves to turn green again. 🌿 We're already seeing improvements! The plants have grown significantly and are developing a dense canopy once more. It's great to see them bouncing back so quickly! Day 41: "Hey everyone! Quick update: we've removed the bands we were using for LST (low stress training) and are now letting the plants grow freely. 🌿 We plan to keep them in the vegetative phase for about one more week before transitioning them to the flowering phase. Wow, she's looking great! Trichomes are clear and cloudy - checked with 200x microscope. One week of feeding with dragon force, then a flush and I think the trichomes should be a good mix of cloudy and yellow 👍 The smell is great and the buds are very sticky.

Sep 14: starting the ninth week of flowering and getting close to the finish. Buds are still putting out new pistils and definitely packing on weight. Also cool nights lately so there is some purple and blue colour starting. This is one of my favourite all time grows, and possibly the best. Sep 15: she is definitely packing on weight and if there was no support the outer manifold branches would be collapsing. Every single day I’m amazed at the daily progress on this plant. Definitely this year’s star. Sep 17: still going. New flowers are still forming so she’ll be going a bit longer. I want her done by the end of September if possible. Not that I’m complaining about more flower growth it’s just the sun gets weak and then it often gets too cold by mid October. I want ripe buds and not stragglers. Sep 18: I was thinking to start harvesting this weekend but the flowers are still blooming so I’ll put it off at least another week. Sep 20: some rain overnight the last few day. I have shaken the branches to get off excess water, but I found two small patches of bud rot (identified by dead leaves) that were removed and I then harvested the nearby bud. 49 g wet bud now hanging. Melon Gum has been loosingva lot of leaves. I think something is effecting the roots. I did a solution change and rinsed the roots in a H2O and water mix. 🤞🏻it helps resolve the issue enough to get to the finish. Girls are stacking nicely just wish we would get some more consistent rain so they can really shine. Added some liquid seaweed to help the bloom along. lets see how she stacks from here.

Shes really doing her thing. I have had so much fun growing this and learning, It's exactly what I hoped for in a first grow, and better yet one of my favorite classic strains. So excited for real buds to fatten up.

Start of Week 5 Over the last couple of days the smell went from a slight hint before entering the space to a pungent smell that just wofts from the plants. I've never grown a full screen before and never noticed how much these smell. It is possible it could be the Granddaddy Purple but my guess from the good bag smell on this strain, that it's the critical smell. I have two sections of plants growing from the same feeding resivour. For the first time ever I've decided to do a mid grow flush. I ran through 1-2gal of water on each 5 gal bucket. I use only perlite as medium so I figured that I wouldn't need much to flush. It all drained back to the main resivour and I disposed of it. I ran a 24hr cycle of straight PHed tallboy filtered tap water (160ppm) and then drained that again (340ppm). I refilled the resivour with fresh nutes and PHed again (1100ppm)
