The outdoor girls settled into mid-vegetative growth this week under stable late-summer conditions. Daytime highs hovered in the mid-80s °F with warm evenings and good airflow. The 5-gallon plant continued to bulk up with thick stems and wide fans, while the two 3-gallon pots stayed slightly smaller but healthy and even. Light training was maintained to keep open canopies and even tops. All three plants showed solid color—medium green with no major deficiency signs—but minor heat stress and light leaf curl appeared on the hottest days. They were watered evenly through the auto-watering bases with RO water and light Cal-Mag, letting the soil dry back fully before refilling. No top-dress or compost tea this week; amendments from earlier feedings were still active. Overall, Week 6 was a steady outdoor stretch phase with healthy structure, balanced moisture, and a smooth lead-in toward pre-flower.

The plats are not been trained, defoliated or anything, grown naturally. I’m blown away how fast this plants are growing. First time outdoors and the experience is very nice, I love the fact it requires little to no effort, in the setup I have chosen. As it is raining a lot, I’m using only a dry amendment I have built to use on them periodically, this way I’m not adding more liquids to the root system that is already highly saturated, essentially I’m using the following recipe update, I don’t know if it is correct but I live it all mixed. Use about a table spoon and a half every 15 days. - Azomite 500g - Natural fosfate 500g - Biochar 1kg - Bokashi 1kg -Kelp meal 500g -Mamona meal 1kg -chicken meal 1kg -Potassium silicate 500g -Gypsum farm 500g -Diatomaceous earth 500g -Bunny guano 300g -Bat guano 1kg -Oyster shell powder 1kg -Cow blood meal 1kg -Cow bones powder meal 1kg. -Wormcastings, spare use not in the mix. The plants are showing good coloring, no fade and no deficiencies, the green is not to deep, nor too light. As the leafs are taking a lot of water and strong sun and wind, the leafs are feeling a bit. As the wind is high since day 1 the stems are very resistant, strong. The Fastberry Is on the smaller size if compared to the other plants, together with the Banana purple punch, then we have the Bluedream and the CBD crack on the larger sizes thriving a lot, I expect to approach the end of flowed in a few weeks, the girls are very fast indeed. I’m looking forward to collect the fruits :)

Hello Diary. The fifth week of flowering is over, Watermelon is nearing the end of flowering, another week or two and there will be harvest. The flowers took on a purple color and the hairs began to turn brown. The flowers themselves are not too big, we will see if they will still develop but the smell is wonderful. The leaves are almost all yellow, and most have brown spots, whatever the cause, her two roommates, Purple Punch are totally ok, they weren’t affected. Watering is every three days, I stopped adding nutrients, I only regulate p.H of water to values ​​between 6.0 and 6.5. Conditions on the Farm are satisfactory, the temperature is around 25 degrees while the humidity is below 40%. Here's what it looked like last week: 17/03/2021 - Day 50. Watering. I prepared a total of 7 liters of water, adjusted the p.H to 6.3 and watered all three plants on the farm evenly. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 24.5 degrees and 38% humidity. 20/03/2021 - Day 53. Another week and a half later I believe. The tentacles have started to take more of the baby nuggetito form. Slowly you can see the flowers starting to make little bud-nuggets. Same 12/12 lights, 3 day water cycle, LST, and removing any extremely small looking buds on the lowest nodes branches. The fan leaf stems have gone a little purple in colour, and the trichomes are starting to show up (Wazzzaaaaa). I presume the purple because of the drop in general temperature because of winter.

Third week we can say that the overtert has been solved. Vegetative growth is in full swing. G4 has recovered but is apparently 1 week late than the other 3 we will see next week.

The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Big, healthy leaves mean we’re getting excellent photosynthesis, but a gentle, strategic defoliation can guide that energy toward those developing buds.
