New update for week 12, concluding week 8 of flowering: Hi(gh) Folks! Thanks everyone for your input on my second grow question. I’m going for HighTV’s answer, the SOG with 9x4 main buds. Very nice to get everyone’s input on this, appreciate it! So another week done! They got their last nutrients Tuesday and on Thursday the 5 early ladies from Hempire got their first round of plain acidulated water. I flushed them a bit on Friday and Saturday to. Now they can dry out for a couple of days. I will flush them for the upcoming week and let them dry out before harvest next weekend. Im counting on them to swell up even further during this week. As for the rest of the 4 plants from Hempire, 4 from Royal Queen Seeds and 3 from Hy-Seeds, I will treat them as if this is another week 8, and they will get another dose of Flowering nutrients and PK. Then next week I will start to flush them also. I will have 2 full weeks to flush and let them dry out until my planned harvest on Saturday 5 January. I’m not even sure that will be early enough for the 4 RQS’s since they look like they have even more bud-growing to do, before they can start swelling! I will keep an eye on that. The 5 tall ladies, 2 from Hempire and 3 from Hy-Seeds show the nice thick Kushy buds i’m craving for, can’t wait to see the becoming nice and heavy! On the photos you see the slight diverence between the pheno’s, the left 2 plants grew the popcorn-buds on a stem, and the right ones have nice thick popcornbuds against the stem’s. The other to remaining Hempire plants also show these, apart from the early ladies offcourse. The early birds show a little stretching buds and nice purple colours. Moved this plant from the front to the back to make it easier to finish LST and defoliating on two other plants. This plant is slightly smaller then 2211 and the node spacing is tighter. Anyway. No signs of deficiency or over feeding. No signs of under or over watering. Everything seems good. Some slight red on stalks and petioles, so slight under feeding of P or K. Humidity is hovering between 55 and 65 which I am okay with for now. I added black strap molasses and set dehumidifier to 60% this week. Will drop to 55% next week, and 50% for final weeks. Hi growmies! This is week no. 5 for the RQS Apple Fritter Automatic and it's doing really well. Last week she grew more than 20cm, which probably asked a lot of nutrition and led to some deficiencies. Luckily I always have some Bio Tabs Compost Tea to top up the nutrients. In addition, because the leafs were turning yellow, I added some Biobizz Cal Mag to the mix. This was exactly what she needed as now the leafs are no longer hanging, and the color has turned to a slightly darker green. I don't see any changes in the soil structure since I started with the Yuccah nutrition. Then again, it's also not having a negative effect so let's just stick with it (10ml per week) and see if it does something in the long run. Sometimes it slips my mind that soil always acts as a buffer so any changes in nutrition take some time before the effects are visible.

Both plants have almost stopped growing in heigth now and are in full flowering mode now. Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) Plant #1 is 15 cm shorter than plant #2, but a little bushier. Both have grown very well and are strong and healthy. They get more and more flower clusters now and start to fill up all branches. Trichomes start to appear all over...the plants start to get sticky and develop a weak sweet aroma now. Its time to take off the biggest fan leaves now for defoliation, I took a round of pics before and after.

Day 99 - Starting week 15 and it’s looking like she’s finally starting to come down to the end. Pistils are starting to shrivel up and not a whole lot or clear trichs anymore. So thinking she’ll get the chop towards the end of week 16. Day 100 - Gave her 2 gallons of pH’d (6.6) water today. She’s got mostly cloudy trichs in there now so I’m thinking end of week 16 she’ll get the chop, so two more weeks. Nothing else really happening, just removing leaves as they die. Day 101 - Nothing to update today, just updated pictures. Just waiting for her to finish up so I can chop. Day 102 - Just some daily pictures to update today. Not much else going on until chop day. Day 103 - Starting to get quite a bit of amber trichs in her even though most of her pistils look nice and healthy. If I get too many more ambers, I might have to chop her sooner than I though but as of right now , I’m looking at chopping her in about a week and a half.

Day 22 Flower (Day 64) Today is the first day of week four of flower. I gave the right girl 3 liters of pH 6.2 water, but the left girl didn't need any. She doesn't drink much since the light is turned way down not to fry her canopy more than it already has. Unfortunately, her new tent didn't show up today — hopefully, tomorrow. I also put half of an avocado on top of the soil in each pot to feed my worms. It should be a nice little treat for my worm buddies. Most of my cover crop has died now when the girls are blocking out all the lights, and I really should cover the soil in mulch, but as I'm changing to larger pots next run, I would have to remove it again in about a month, so I haven't bothered. Day 23 Flower (Day 65) Yay! The new tent finally arrived today. It is still a tiny 40x40 cm tent as that is all I can fit inside the wardrobe, but the new tent is 40 cm taller. The plant really needed the extra height since she was pressing against the light and roasting the top buds. It was a bit tricky to get the left girl out of the old tent, but by combining some McGyverism with a bit of brute force, I got her out in mostly one piece. The damage from the light wasn't as bad as a feared, although three tops were fried and a few fan leaves. Not great, but it could have been worse. I took the opportunity when she was between tents and did some defoliation/lollipopping before moving her into her new space and giving her 1.5 liters of ph 6.7 water to help her deal with the shock of being manhandled. It is lovely to have some space again, and I was finally able to turn up the light to 100%. Now those buds can start to fatten up! All I did with the right girl today was to give her 3 liters of pH 6.5 water. Day 24 Flower (Day 66) The left girl loves her new home and looks to be bouncing back nicely. She didn't need any water today, but it was the first time a tiny weed smell came out of the tent as I opened it. The right girl in my main tent is further along in flower and technically should smell more than the small tent, but the CO2 bag still overpowers everything with its sh*t smell. lol I gave the right girl 3 liters of pH 6.4 water today, and I also "shaved her legs" by removing some pointless leaves and branches low down on her. Finally, I started brewing some compost tea with the same recipe as last week (worm castings, rock dust, biochar, lime, bentonite, neem meal, kelp meal, alfalfa meal, and molasses). Still, this time it will be filtered as it is too soon for additional topdressing. The tea will brew for 24 hours, and I'll feed it tomorrow. Day 25 Flower (Day 67) All I did today was to feed each girl 3 liters of pH 6.6 compost tea as well as rearranging the main tent (moved the CO2 bag so I could move the clip fan, attached the ratchet hangers to the lights differently, and did some LST to get a branch out of the way) so I could raise the lights another 5 cm. Day 26 Flower (Day 68) Today was a really easy day. I just gave the right girl 3 liters of pH 6.1 water. That was it. Day 27 Flower (Day 69) I gave each girl 3 liters of pH 6.6 water today. I also took out my proper camera and tried a few quick bud shots. Just as an experiment though - handheld, no tripod, just the grow lights so no proper lighting, etc. Would love some feedback on these photos though as I'm completely new to bud photography and am looking to improve. Day 28 Flower (Day 70) The last day of the fourth week of flower and all is well in the tents. The left girl is 97 cm tall (12 cm increase in a week), and the right girl is 120 cm tall (a 3 cm increase in a week). The left girl has been stretching this week since she got her new tent (which allowed me to turn up the light.) She certainly is loving those extra photons! On the other hand, the right girl seems done with stretching and is working on fattening up the buds. All I did today was to snap some pics and videos and give the right girl 3 liters of pH 6.2 water.

This grow is going to be really interesting. I have never grown sativa dominant hybrids before because I was always scared I would not have enough room. However, last season I had a really good run growing VERY short plants (see Mighty Minis) and it got me thinking, why not. So here we are; I'm growing 1 Blue Dream and 1 MelonSicle this round. Both are Sativa hybrids so I am hoping the stretch will not be too intense; no more than 2.5 original height before flowering. The blue dream I bought with the previous rounds of clones I got because I have herd that if trained well, this plant can PRODUCE. The plan is to continuously top, and train until the MelonSicle has caught up and is ready for flower. I will have the room to flower about 2 months from now so this Blue Dream is going to be a 2/2 table top by the time I am ready. Very excited about this one, also a little nervous.

The buds are starting to plump near the end of week 8. I’m just amazed at the whole process!! Starting to understand now what is meant my stacking nicely😎. Still no smell I rubbed the stem and it definitely smelled like weed not like a house plant. But overall no smell from the buds yet. The sugar is developing nicely I think🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Vamos familia tercera semana de vida de estás Tropical Zmoothie de SeedStockers. Que ganas tengo de ver el progreso de esta variedad, las plantulas están sanas, se ven con buen color. La cantidad de agua cada 48h entre riegos. Esta primera semana ya añadimos nutrientes de la gama Agrobeta. Tuve problemas de trips en un indoor y tengo todas plagadas pero ya las e tratado con aceite de neem y un insecticida genérico, además añadí varias tiras de color azul, trataré esta semana y la siguiente. También realicé el trasplante a maceta definitiva, 7 litros. Estas próximas semanas veremos cómo avanzan. 6/28 Week 10 and she is looking fantastic Flush continues, nothing special just one gallon of h20 twice a day. Looking at at least 3 days as tricones still at less than 100% white (@80%) Deficiencies not bad yet, still building some bud 6/29 Looking well, just a bit of CA/MG def showing. Still building Some lights out pics to show off the buds and trics **** We have determined that best practice on coco DTW is to add a low dose of Cal-Mag once a week when in final container. This will satisfy the cation sites as the coco breaks down and avoid mystery CA deficiencies allowing the CocoTek to do its work. 6/30 Just some Bud Pics 7/2 HARVEST DAY TOMORROW!
