Hey All!!, Huge growth week, and we have moved into the flowering stage. These girls were 24/25 days old as of Sunday the 24th. They are all now between 14 and 17 inches tall, which is about double in one week. The tallest went from about 8 inches to 17 inches in just 7 days. I fed them twice, mid-week prior to last Sunday they got CaliMagic and Regenisys and then last Sunday the 24th I fed with Nector of the Gods and did start the Terpinator. Today is Wed, Dec 4th and they are about ready for another drink. They look really good, nice and green and they have just a faint berry smell. The one area I could have done better is with my LST. The dang things grew so fast last week that I just got behind, I should have started a few days earlier. However, once I did the LST they began to fill out nicely. I stuck 2 videos in, one prior to LST and one after I had finished. You can see how much the branches were being covered as the leaves were not growing very quickly. They are much happier now being spread out. Quite happy with the progress so far.

Esta semana he doblegado la rama más alta para igualar el dosel, la planta ha comenzado la pre flora y no espero más crecimiento, el tamaño final va a ser fantástico para mi porque voy a poder alumbrarla desde el sustrato hasta la copa con luces intensas, voy a continuar esta semana con las luces blancas de crecimiento, y la semana que viene haré un cambio drástico de todos los paneles led laterales, los sustituiré por otros con temperaturas de color más cálidas, además, voy a reforzar el dosel con otras dos lámparas, una con diodos de 2700K+660nm (50w) y un COB de 2800K con lente (50w), no quiero ningún rincón de la carpa a oscuras! 💡💡💡💡💡 Los riegos de esta planta, durante las dos últimas semanas, así como de todas las demás plantas han sido con poca concentración y con componentes destinados fortalecer la planta y a la inoculación de Microorganismos para la descomposición acelerada de materia orgánica del sustrato, así como la disolución de los minerales también presentes en el sustrato, se trata de no sobrealimentar, en esta etapa de transición, con Fertilizantes solubles y promover por última vez, la expansión de las raíces, que dejarán de crecer cuando la planta entre de lleno en floración, en el momento que claramente deje la planta de crecer y dirija toda la energía a la formación de flores empezará el gran juego, una segunda parte muy intensa y con momento bellísimos, la floración es el momento donde se requiere mucha variedad de minerales, más que en crecimiento vegetativo, por lo tanto la alimentación que tengo preparada para esta etapa va a ser muy variada... todo por la causa! A diferencia de la temporada pasada estoy regando profundamente pero dejando al sustrato agotar mayor cantidad de humedad con el fin de airear el sustrato lo más posible entre riego y riego, controlo el consumo exacto de agua cada día, peso mis macetas diariamente y tengo una hoja de excell que me calcula, este y otros datos de la evolución de los cultivos, al final estas técnicas me están sirviendo para simplificar lo complejo... cada loco con su tema! Phenotype number 1 finally matured on day 84 of flowering, I safely harvested, dried, and collected seeds, totaling approximately 1800 (no, I didn't count them). The goal was achieved, I gained a tremendous amount of experience, and now at least I have understanding. Lastly, I need to conduct a germination test to be sure. 2/4: Photo session day! The squattier of the two picked up a lot less of the sativa genes. She's gonna be shorter, but she's in a big hurry compared to her lankier sister. The taller one, like most other sativa dominant strains I've grown, really doesn't like being fed so often. At this point, I'll probably just feed her every other feeding day, and on plain watering days I'll give her cal-mag and flavor/terpene enhancers, and maybe a little beastie bloomz. I had a total infestation of Cattus (felis) which I documented in my photos. Eradication seems impossible, so I'm opting to allow a degree of predation, but hoping trichome production will, at least, deter them soon.😁 2/5: I fed everybody today except these girls and my two #3's..they usually protest after a full-strength feeding. I just gave them water with cal-mag, bembe, signal, humic acid, and a little Open Sesame. I also sprayed everybody down with Axiom harpin proteins for the last time today. I made a DIY CO2 generator today using a 5 gallon cat litter bucket, a small aquarium pump, some air line tubing, and a bubble stone, plus 6 cups of sugar and 30 grams of wine yeast in 2 gallons of warm water. I put the tube where the CO2 is exhausted up against the back of the oscillating fan that aims down over the plants so they are being constantly forcefully bombarded with high levels of CO2(1300+ppm) from above. I set the ac infinity controller to allow the temps to climb up to 89f before the fan turns on. 2/6: These girls are a much lighter shade of green than anybody else in the garden. I bought some Gro-Pro pot risers to elevate the pots so that they will dry out faster..seem pretty effective. 2/7: Now they look deficient in N and K...ffs! I'll go back to feeding them with everyone else, but will make up a batch of weaker nutes for them. I foliar fed with big bloom and tiger bloom. 2/8: I ordered a second 6" AC Infinity fan to connect to my controller, some ducting, and a diffuser which I'll mount to the wall, down near the floor. The fan unit will be in another closet, adjacent to the garden closet, and I'll run ducting up through that closet ceiling into the attic, with a filter on the end to keep bugs and particulates out. For the next 6 weeks or so, it will provide a supply of colder fresh air. I did the math, and it will now only take about 1 minute and 40 seconds to completely exchange the air in the closet. Depending on the outside air temp at the time, it should take anywhere between 8 and 20 minutes for the closet to heat back up to 80f and the fans to kick back on again. This Spring, on days when it's not cooler than 72f, I'll disconnect the duct in the closet and stretch it into that bedroom, clipped to the window unit air conditioner output, cranked down as low as it will go. This Summer, I'm gonna just run a pair of the quantum boards and grow 4 or 5 autos in there, but this should help keep the temps cooler in summer as well, without dedicating an air conditioner to the grow op.🙏 2/9: I foliar fed them with grow big, big bloom, and tiger bloom and checked moisture in their pots. They're due for a good watering tomorrow.

I did harvest this for bubble hash as fresh frozen but after my first two runs, I'm not so sure about that lol. There's definitely a bit of a learning curve, especially handwashing and not the coldest temperature yet to work with although I did get the studio down to 45°. I think I'm probably just gonna do some edibles with this or something. I'm going to convert the wet weight to the dry weight would be just to get an idea.

Another round of topping. Tied her all back to spread out for LST. Going to flip to flower next week. Used the Kushman technique and Supercropped all her stems every inch on the way up, without bending. Gives her muscles to flex <3
