Winter grow ❄️

Stopped feeding this week. I'm pretty sure they should be ready to chop in a week or 2. I hate looking at them with my microscope so I've gotten pretty good a judging when they are finished. I love ILGM. They always come thru with solid genetics!!

This one stretched a good amount, I thought it got lightly pollinated by a moonshine cookies male but I havnt found any seeds yet. The Marge Simpson nugs are pretty cool lookin. I had one bad feed that burnt the tips in flower i wish i could take back but the ph meter got confused. This shit is top shelf.

The bud looks thickening trichromes,more pungent and pistil change color to orange.

I thought the ladies would have another 2-3 weeks left in veg, but started to notice pistils forming within the last couple of days. So flower will most likely start to begin within the next week, I’m guessing I may see a couple oz per plant come harvest day. Not bad for first time grow & using autos, from what I’ve heard a lot of people do not recommend learning with autos due to how quickly their state can change depending on what you do with them. There are some things I wish now I would have done a bit different within the last couple of weeks, I can’t help but wonder how much bigger they’d be if I did not do any defoliation at all. But I have been combating flies bad and made the call to defoliate mainly for that reason. Started to cut back on veg foods and introduce flower foods and sugars to their diet. Humidity levels still at a steady decrease, aiming to have humidity down in the 30s come flower time. Will be going on vacation for a week soon, so fingers crossed that nothing goes wrong. Will be having a good friend of mine come by every couple of days to FaceTime me and make sure everything is handled as well as possible when the time comes.

Up to harvest total of 12 weeks flower, ICC grew really nicely, could have harvested earlier, Runtz hermed with a bunch of seeds, MxO with the mutation, 2 completly different smells and bud structure, but both very good

Suuuper sweet and tropical smell, beautiful fragrance of the buds man! By far the sweetest nuggets I have in my garden currently even more than my bslck cherry punch plants, awesome strain, such a beautiful surprise, I'll grow her more times now that I know her, she's fading out perfectly showing purple on the leafs because of the cold weather, and I'm seeing a lot of yellow leafs,let's see what happens at the end! ✌️👨‍🌾🌱💚

Day 107 - Day late and a dollar short on my Update! :P Haven't added any new nutes...just topping up with water on the current base and then will flush around Thursday. The Cookies Kush all look done...pistils been brown and shrunk for days now. The Purple punch still showing a lot of white pistils though and its the oldest of the 4 plants and should be done the quickest (Per Barneys Flower Time Expectations). Am well over the 8 weeks now and will play the flush by ear, like I say, expecting Thursday for a 4 day flush in Hydro but may stretch the current nutes out the end week to see if the Punch Browns (It is fox-tailing slightly...but this can be expected with Purple strains). Apart from that, nothing else to do but wait til harvest! :) Also, have to note...can't say I have sen an increase in frosting using the 10K bulb from where they were before I introduced it a week ago but could be something that's been that gradual, its really been unnoticeable! What I have noticed with it is Cola Leaves starting to Pray, so they're getting some light intensity without bleaching or burning so it has done something...if its beneficial, I can't really say!

Began flushing her midway through week 8, buds aren't as full as I had liked but have struggled with rising EC levels during the whole grow which I will put down to being caused by an excessive defoliation at week 4 of flower that took too long to recover from.

Week 10 - Final week before harvest this strain has been an experience growing. Plants are Frosty and very sticky with intense Strawberry Grape Terps. I’ll update with a final harvest Good Luck Everyone.

Day 86 12/05/2021- Week 5 of flower almost done hopefully by the end of the month. Went out on a trip and GoPro never turn on for the last two days bummer but will upload time lapse videos daily. Today the lady got nutrients as well. Day 89 12/08/2021- Today the lady got water, really hoping to see buds starting to fatten up. Day 91 12/10/2021- So today the lady got a special treat, freshly collected rain water. She is just doing her thing and making those buds. I have also finally put the spider farmer SF-2000 at 100%. And here we are at the end of this magnificent journey on the spaceship Black Orchid Automatic, a phenomenal strain from Zamnesia, it is the last beauty harvested more or less at the same time as the others but shown separately for the amount of important photos that I am taking. Please take a look at the macros (micro) and let me know what you think. This week I'm talking about the harvest of the third and last lady, the purple one, very purple to be clear. She grew a lot, she matured quite quickly and produced a lot of resin. The flowers are quite hard and of a wonderfully wonderful color. The smell is very particular probably from the purple / cookies / cake area but the strong point of this beauty are the trichomes. The girl offers a park of trichomes of a disarming beauty, the more I shot the more I wanted to shoot, I was left speechless for real. We have purple stuff in the stem, purple noba in the gland, totally purple stuff in the stem with amber gland, glands in various shades of purple. Wonder for real. There is still something transparent but it had to come venia, like animals feel earthquakes I start to feel the mold in advance, or maybe I'm paranoid, anyway we are mostly cloudy, something amber and a thousand shades of purple and something even transparent. For me it's fine like this baby. Harvest time, in the drying room. I strongly recommend you to try this strain both in the feminized version and this one in the photoperiod version, if this plant doesn't convince you wait to see the next two that I will publish in the next two weeks but they have already been harvested. The taste is still CALI in sense of purple part of cookies family. We feel like we're teleporting to Los Angeles with Snoop making a blunt, incredible California flavor, to be clear in a coffee shop in Amsterdam you would pay 25 to 30 euros per gram. Everything has always been grown with Plagron Pro Mix soil which I found exceptional, I was used to using Light Mix but I had probably underestimated the power and cleanliness of going 100% organic. It has an absorption coefficient that I find very pleasant, it dries with less aggressiveness than the light mix so you will not have that phenomenon that when the plant is too dry the water goes down. With this soil it is more difficult as it is more difficult to have midges. In my MODEST opinion pre-fertilized are fertile ground for ground midges with this soil I have had ZERO GNATS, before ever.
