King tut is foxtailing, I had two hours where the temps got to 90 in the tent three days in a row. I've seen some others mention foxtailing on king tut in general. With the ROI-E680 a few people complained about foxtailing on the first couple grows. I turned the light down to 60% from 80 and the dehumidifier set on low so it would stop spiking the tent temp and keep the humidity in the 50s as best I can. Fingers crossed!

We started the 8th week of flowering, the time of harvest is approaching, this last week we will use flawless finish to clean the plants of nutrients before cutting them. Possibly a week of flowering extra would be good, but in this case I will cut them after 8 weeks. I defoliated bottom leaves, the tent has really gone jungle style now. Kicked on the extra LEDs for bloom only and the center LED is running both VEG and BLOOM lights. The two auto dark purple plants show a few leaves canoeing. Maybe too much nitrogen from trying to keep the PPM levels up. Flushed with sledgehammer.

The ladies bud growth is starting to take off! Got Some nute burn but honestly they’ve still been growing just fine. Candyland is undoubtedly the mother of all three! She is budding so beautifully! Not much to report as these girls are happy and healthy. Weather is still a little up and down. We had a couple cold, drizzly days where they stayed inside under the lights on the heat mat set at 70F. Days when it was bright but still a little cool and windy they sat on a south facing windowsill. This morning is nice so they're actually out in the flower bed. They got a feeding at the correct dilution ratio this week and I re-potted them the next day in Coast of Maine Bar Harbor blend soil. I color coordinated the pots by strain so Night Nurse is Black. Gave the Weed Tea a stir today. Shes' getting stinky💩

However I remove humidifier and everything back to normal. Girls grow up like nothing happened, tomorrow I will proceed small defoliation like I'm doing it in every grow. Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. TrolMaster Hub & Data Monitoring Throughout the week, we have been closely monitoring our grow using the TrolMaster App TM+. I have had a blast growing this plant inside this LEAF unit. There was very little I had to do in order to have so much plant. I cannot wait to add another diary with some more grows. The smell of the plant is incredible and will only get better. The smoke is gentle, and it actually leaves a Minty feeling in your mouth, this was surprising but really cool given the name of the plant. Hey now, hope everyone is having a great week. The Glueberry OG is doing well, but it has been a struggle dealing with the heat and humidity in my region during late flower. I have 2 full size basement dehumidifiers running 24X7 and am able to maintain between 42-48% RH in the tent, however the tent is running between 68-80 degrees F, and I would definitely prefer slightly cooler. It is also a bitch to empty both humidifiers twice a day to prevent them from filling up and shutting off. I could build a reservoir and run lines, but I am just done flowering in the summertime, although I said the same thing in summer 2021. I was hoping to harvest her on 4th of July of Weekend, however her trichomes are just not ready. She is literally covered in triches, but not seeing any amber on the colas, just a couple on the leaves. So I will giver her at least another week, and hopefully harvest the following weekend. I check the trichomes every day or two and my new plan is hopefully to start the flush by the 4th depending on the trichomes and harvest the following weekend. Since I am harvesting 3 plants, if I can't get them all trimmed in a day, I plan to just go lights off for the next few days and have an auto or two still in the tent auto feeding on water only, while the Glueberry OG starts to dry, and then harvest the other's in the next couple of days. I figure as long as everything is in complete darkness, and the temp and humidity are stable, it should be fine, as some people swear by a darkness period anyways, although I have never tried it. If anyone has any experience/advice with this hit me up! I am trying to stay patient with this lady, but I am super excited to harvest her. Her Colas just started falling to the floor of the tent yesterday as they continue to pack on weight, Fortunately I saw it via Wyze Cam and was able to tie them up before they reached the floor. This lady smells absolutely amazing, this lady reaks of earthy diesel, and juicy fruit...Super excited to smoke and squeeze some of these nugs. The Glueberry OG Auto is the second auto I have run by Dutch Passion, the other was their Auto Blueberry which was a MASSIVE plant. I definitely prefer Photos as I enjoy mainlining etc, but as far as autos go, I have not seen any stronger genetics than Dutch Passion. I don't want to speculate on a final weight, but she has 12 mains, and I am estimating each main will be in the 1-2 zip range, and that's not even counting all the side branches. I know some people lollipop all the lower branches, but I will be happy to turn the lowers into half melt, canna-sugar,, bubble hash, full melt, rosin, etc. I am still running the Medic Grow Spectrum X at 100% in the F1 mode and running the UV/IR bar for 120 minutes prior to lights off. So far I am super pleased with this light, for the amount of PAR she puts out, she definitely runs cool comparatively to other LED's.
