Another week has passed, and we're closer to the end than I estimated. I chopped their mom on Day 70 and expected similar for her offspring, but we're now on Day 49, and the girls look to be done in a week or two. I've started seeing more frost, which indicates that the trichomes are turning cloudy. No amber yet, though. So there's that. It will take a while longer. But 21 days? With the senescence I'm seeing? DAY 56 Since flip: well all of these ladies have come past the official harvest dates mow of max 56 days. I am happy to say it is because they all want to continue swelling and pushing new pistils to show off their prowess. FFT#1 Is starting to brown off nicely all over and will need a loupe soon to determine how close she is to her sweet spot . She smells so much of pineapples now that I think she has to be on that track for her true identity. Nice solid buds , not the biggest but a few around so shouldn't be too shabby on her yield. FFT#5 Is racing with #7 to the best sized buds I think. She has a couple that are certainly the 2 mains picked to quad from but even the secondary challengers are nice and fat and verybfrity sweet. They are developing a lot of new tricks too and could go another week at least. FFT#7 Is the heaviest bidder of the whole grow so far. She continues to swell and push plenty of new fresh pistil sets out at a fair pace. Her lower down growth is showing through the canopy all over and does her genetics very proud. She is my favourite of the for growth but #5 is doing amazing too. Let's see what next week brings to the game shall we. Be sane growmies.

Her aroma is so sweet,all the 5 Black cherry punch have the exact same sweet and floral aroma,her flower are very sticky, she's producing quality resin,she ended up with a smaller size compared to her sisters. Let's see how she performs but I'm loving her so far

12 Week…

Only got to start this diary on the third day of germination after I’ve moved the seeds from the toilet paper wrapping to plastic cups.

10 weeks / 70 days old today. Buds are all a bit fatter and a bit frostier this week! They glisten in the light and and are well and truly coated. Noticed a few leaves with brown spots this week and after reading up I decided it could be a calcium deficiency. Gave a cal mag feed and monitored and no more brown spots have appeared. We’re pretty close to the finish line now so not sure I’ve done the right thing or whether I should just let it be. Few more old leaves at the bottom started to yellow so chopped them. Some trichomes are starting to turn milky but majority are still clear. Haven’t bothered with a picture because it’s so hard to get a clear one. Still taking up lots of water and giving 3ml of bloom nutrients in every water. Been reading lots about flushing and I’m not sure whether to do it. Read lots that say if it’s cured properly then there isn’t any difference to the taste. I think half the battle is knowing when to do it. How does a beginner know when you’ve got 2 weeks left?! Been tempted to chop off the popcorn buds and so glad I didn’t. I put some bulbs lower down to give them plenty of light and they’re fattening up pretty well. Bit worried again about the space issue. Lots of new pistils have sprouted and most are around the top buds. Read that it could be foxtailing due to light stress but could also just be buds fattening out and having a last try at pollinating 🤷🏻‍♀️ who knows! Overall another exciting week getting closer to the finish. Booked our summer holiday for August and trying to decide whether to start a new grow when these finish. there’s a risk they might not be done in time but I’m desperate to try again and improve on this one. I have well and truly got the grow bug!!

She’s getting really close! I’ve started the flush and trichomes are almost all milky probably around 80% and then just a few ambers. I’m hoping to stretch her out another week but we will see. Not much growth this week. I think I shocked them with a big fan leaf prune to get some light all the way down the colas.

I originally thought this was an autoflower, but it turns out it was a photoperiod. It was still in veg on day 65, so I switched the light cycle to 12/12 and 10 days later (day 75) it went into flower. This video is two weeks (14 days) after it went into flower.

This could be her last week. Flushing now.. She is on 12/12 because of her tent mates. Most trichomes clear but some are cloudy now. Some close up shots for you.

These are clones that I managed to take from my summer garden that became a disaster due to a heat wave that we had breaking 100 year records. I expect everything to be 48” in height at maturity.
