Definitely learning some lessons from the manifold attempt. I'd say I have to definitely train more horizontal on the original top but I'm pretty happy with how it's coming along. Looking forward to topping down to the 3rd node most likely tomorrow! With that being said, I'd imagine having the final set up could be a bit easier to train. Once I'm able to remove the second node it will open up a solid amount of space and light for the 1st node. On another note I became extremely confident in regards to feeding. Dancing around 690-700PPM's seems to be working very well right now. Consistent PH at 5.9 as well. Looking forward for the next week in regards to topping and training. Depending on training and pruning time, I'd like to flip within the next 2-3 weeks. Maybe sooner. As always, any comments or suggestions are welcome! Thanks!

Week 8 Water only at 800ml lowering the lights on temps to 22c (70f) let see if we can get the purple senescence this 5g has been threatening and we know the Velvet Octane will finish with. Every girl is finishing nicely, FROSTY AF, and the smells are fantastic and sweet and slap you in the face the moment you open the tent. Monday It’s beginning of week 4 and they are doing pretty well. The main stems are hard and strong and it’s impossible to bend them at that point. I am practicing a very light hand LST everyday like I am showing in the video. Tuesday Watering for both of them , you can follow the (simple) process in the videos. The plants are doing great except for a little issue on one of them that I will show you tomorrow. Topping or not ? May be beneficial so I’m about to do it. Fiming maybe ? Thursday Topping on video ! Looks like she's getting close! Buds are nicely plump and dense! Plenty of cloudy trichomes. I'm looking for the first amber trichome to harvest. I want this to be uplifting not couch lock.

So this is a combination of weeks 11-12 as they all went into 48 hours of darkness and cut down on different days. My got cut down on different days. Will post dry harvest pics next ;p

Week 8 for Lemon orange by greenhouseseedco, End of week 8 for this cultivar, few things.. 2/3 of them are as happy as they could be. The one with 8 tops has got a serious nitrogen deficiency, fed some extra but think she'll need another dose. Interesting that the stems are going bright pink from stress of main-lining. Have also found some spider mite damage which i think came from the soil....

Have some Hurkle regular seeds i got my hands on. I germinated them and they sprouted. Pictures are a real testament to genetics, and pheno types. all planted same day other the same circumstance and rotation in hot spots. all diff sizes and leaves are a different health. This grow is an experiment the weakest one will stay in the tent and go 12/12 after its first set of true leaves to see quality. the 2 bigger ones will be for an outdoor balcony grow on the lake. Direct sunlight from 6am-2pm. Right now they are in the tent for another week until the temperature is a little more consistent outside. then i will transplant.
