Hello Diary. We’ve come to the last week of hanging out with dear Hulkberries. 😎 I checked under a microscope, and the Trichomes became milky and some on the upper flowers start to brown. So I decided to leave them for a few more days and then do the harvest. 😀 On day 53, I removed the larger leaves on both plants and lightened it a bit in its final days. I have also slightly improved the airflow through the plant given the temperature and humidity in the air which is still higher than I would have liked.😖 As can be seen in the pictures, the flowers are nicely filled, especially the main cola, the branches bend under the weight of the flowers. That's why I didn't want to take them out to another room for a photo shoot, since I'm going to take more detailed photos of the plants before the harvest. 😍 For a little over ten days now, I have been watering it only and not adding any supplements or food. But let’s look at what this week looked like. 09/08/2020 - Day 52. Watering. This time I watered only with water, I did not add BioBizz. I still regulated the water at p.H 6.5 with Plagron’s, Lemon Kick. Each time I prepare 7 lit. water and with that I water all three plants evenly. 10/08/2020 - Day 53. Defoliation. I removed the larger leaves from both plants. 12/08/2020 - Day 55. Watering. Just water. 13/08/2020 - Day 56. Photographing the end of week 8. That’s it, we’ve come almost to the very end, but there’s more riding until I taste this strain. I can't wait for that moment. See you next week at harvest.

Hopefully the next time I grow this strain, I can get it to stretch more! Fruity but has a really gassy under tone.

Starting week 2 of flower on this super stinky and bushy Bruce Banner Auto from FastBuds! She has been doing a lot better the past few days but still showing some slight yellowing and burnt tips. We are gonna have to keep a close eye on her and make sure these problems don't progress. Other than that she looks perky and happy today so no adjustments yet. More updates soon! Day 55 she is still chugging along nicely! She has been pretty perky this week and been stretching out a lot better! Its about time to defoliate a little as well. We will probably clean her up in next couple of days and remove some lower bud sites in the process. She still has some slight yellowing but it appears to mostly halted and not affecting any new growth so we let her ride it out on rain water only!

Last week of flower! Trikes are mostly milky with a few amber showing up. The Frosty Bananas is a little ahead of the Apple Candie but 1 more week should be fine. This is by far the best bud I have ever grown. I know 90 percent is the genetics but I have also completely changed how I grow. Soil, food, watering and lights. The anticipation is killing me..

All the girls have been placed into their final pots 20L fabric. Really happy with the root structures due to the fabric pots - not one root bound plant and all the roots still searching for space to grow. They have recovered from transplant already and are all growing out and enjoying the root space. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We have lost 1 Kushbreath x faceOff plant (Putins punch seed) The phenotype grew too short and bushy to make it in this SCROG grow - I have moved this plant to my auto tent to grow out and train. Both V2 / V3 are both growing really well and cant say either one is better than the other.

Flowering came from out of nowhere but I am glad to see it. All of my readings for the plants as far as TDS and pH are pretty dialed in. We've been having a lot of rainstorms on the East coast which has been driving the humidity up like crazy also on the bloom light has raised the temperature in the tent (the temperatures have been running around 79 degrees during the daytime which is causing a bit of heat stress). I've been scouring the internet for dehumidifiers however I've restrained from any purchases because of budgetary reasons. If you recommend a humidifier please put it in my comments! The plants are looking really good and I plan on supplementing with CO2 soon and possibly a bloom supplement; Make sure you check out my IG page @KS_Kultivation and let the girls know that you are rooting for them. -ksk

8/10 Hurried morning. Today was water day and the hose fucked up. Dad got it working while I filled half the jugs needed with water and the requisite amount of plant doctor. I gave the preventative dose (which is 1/2 tsp per gallon but I upped it closer to 1 tsp per gallon) on the plants that have received the three full treatments, the 10th planet in the middle and the chemdog. The rest received their last full dose. I had watered the NATURAL mk ultra and other tenth planet yesterday so I'm waiting until tomorrow when the need water to give them their treatment. Other than the 10th planet I'm worried things are going pretty good. Tjat's probably tine too. I certainly wouldnt have even noticed it a few years ago. I only bought like half the amount of soil as last year and really tried keeping costs down. These aren't the biggest plants I've grown but I'm grateful for what I have. I'm working hard to get the most out of them I can. I'm planning to give it a few days and then feed later in the week. EDIT: I THINK I got my grow question deleted. Finally. It's strange that I didn't get ONE outdoor growers response. Doesn't matter. I figured out the best course of action. I'm lucky. Or maybe I just work hard. I defoliate twice a day. I have some pruning to do on the interior of a COUPLE plants. I've cleaned them up pretty good this year. No signs of ANY wpm which is great but suprisinging considering the rh and the rolling fog most mornings. 8/11 I gave the tenth planet in the back and the mk ultra I didn't get yesterday. The mk ultra got the preventative dose (upped from 1/2tsp to 1tsp) and the 10th planet tge full dose. I'll have to check but I think this is the last cure dose for everyone. Found a pillar INSIDE a bud on the special kush that's far ahead. Then you can see on the video a HUGE cut worm or something on the branch I pull down. Luckily I saw it. Wasn't there when I got back but it took a few bites. Looked on the camera and saw a bird swoop in and grab him. Thank the lord! It's going to be 100° today and tomorrow with heat advisory in effect. I'm going to have to treat these plants for pests/pillars some how. I might just use BT and my super alkaline water. The septoria is under control and I'm just afraid spraying anything would make things worse. I'm certainly jot going to let them eat my early flowering plant. I can't apply ANYTHING in this heat. I'll research and maybe if it gets low enough tonight I might be able to do something. I'm going to go back over and check that plant going branch by branch. That one 10th planet tgat WAS the biggest plant is severely stunted amd has some "strange" looking leaves. I wasthinking about getting it off property or just chopping and burning but I figure it's been in there long enough that the others could be infected. I think it spreads through pests if that's the case then it might be better to get rid of it. I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet. I'm going to stop and try to get some mulch today. EDIT: I found a place I can get a bale of straw and I think I'll use that to mulch. It's almost a 100°. After killing the pillar this morning and missing that cutworm I came back over to REALLY look at the special kush in later flower. I looked through every branch and every bud. I found four pillars on that plant. No REAL damage yet and extremely small. I had to pull buds apart to find them. It's like they were hiding from the heat. That was miserable hand picking them in 100° degree weather. Luckily the bird feeders are close but the bigger birds chase the smaller ones. The smaller birds have found a new food source and perch on my cage waiting. I'm leaning towards treating the flowering plant with BT-k. Seeing that tge citric acid WON'T kill fungus I'll just use OUR super alkaline water and hope for the best. Nothing will get treated during this weather. 8/12 IT reached 105° yesterday and I had a family medical emergency. Came over this morning to several plants drooped right over despite me checking MD day and them being fine. Phone dodnt charge so I couldn't get pictures. Watered everything but the ones that got it yesterday cause they looked good and still had weight. I had to leave before the ones that were down could pick back up. The kush plants seem to tolerate this heat much better. Beside the ones in the 10s tge others are taking this hear fine. I'll update when I get back. EDIT: Went back over around 10. Another hot day. Suppised to be HOTTER than yesterday. I don't know how that's possible. both our thermometers went to 104 lately. Oh and I dont think that's beet curly top virus I think it's just great stress! I've grown this strain before and it's not the most resilient but it's other qualities make up for that. That's a loud off. I checked most buds on the plant in late flower and found a grass hopper IN the cola! No damage that I could see and I flicked him in the head which killed it. I came back to the chemdog that I didn't water drooping. I watered that and the 10th planet I didn't get this morning. The only one that hasn't got water today was the natural mk ultra and when I was there it was still heavy and looked really good so I left it. I'll have to come back around four and check things out. I'll be watering that tonight for sure. It will be hot tomorrow too then it will be better weather. I need to feed but I'm uncertain whether I should in this heat. All the kush strains I'm running are have Hindu kush as a parent and seem to be able to take the heat no problem. We don't get heat like this usually. It's different when it's 100° and 99% rh than dry heat. Edit #2 WENT BACK OVER AROUND 3:30PM EXPECTING TO WATERING THE ONE PLANT I HADNT. THE MK ULTRA THAT I LEFT NATURAL. IT LOOKED GREAT WHEN I GOT THERE AND WAS STILL HEAVY. IT LOOKED BETTER THAN NORMAL. ONE SIDE HAD A FEW LEAVES THAT WERE STARTING TO DROOP BUT ITS RIGHT WHERE THE SUN IS HITTING IT ON TH BOTTOM. ITS JUST A LITTLE HEAT STRESS. THE 10TH PLANET ARE MORE PRONE TO HEAT STRESS. I NEED TO FEED. I DEFOLIATED QUITE A FEW LEAVES TODAY. IM RUNNING OUT OF LARGE FAN LEAVES ON MY PLANT IN MID FLOWER. EVERYTHING SEEMED TO START MAKING LITTLE ROCK HARD BUDS ALMOST OVERNIGHT AND THEY ARE STARTING TO SWELL. PLANTS NEED NITROGEN I THINK. I USED LESS SOIL AND WATERED MORE. I JUST DONT WANT TO FEED DURING THIS HOT WEATHER. TOMORROWS THE LAST OF THIS HEAT WAVE AND THEN ILL BE ABLE TO GIVE THE GIRLS A GOOD FEEDING. THE SILVER LINING TO THE PATHOGEN THING IS THAT IVE BEEN MUCH MORE COGNIZANT OF LEAFING THE PLANTS AND REMOVING DEAD AND DAMAGED LEAVES. I'VE DONE A MUCH BETTER JOB WITH THAT THIS YEAR. AFTER THE HOT SPELL ILL GET IN WITH SHEARS AND PRUNE OFF LARF. IVE GOT SOME BUT I HAVE MORE I NEED TO GET. 8/13 IT was supposed to be HOTTER yesterday than the day before bit it was the same 104°. Today is supposably the end of this ridiculous heatwave. I watered everything that needed it despite having watered deeply yesterday. I put 8 1/2 gallons into the garden where it needed it most. Chemdog and the big 10th planet I got yesterday. Soil is still wet and the bags are heavy. I can't believe how well these kush plants hold up to the heat. Hopefully better Temps tomorrow so I can feed. In other news I haven't been seeing septoria leaves. Less and less everytime I go over! Keeping my fingers 🤞.

Growth is just going amazing. Both phenos are doing just astounding. I'm overall delighted with these genetics. Days 35-37 Growth is going amazing as you can see. When preflower stops. I'll move it under a 300w light from mars-hydro. Hopefully within the next 2 weeks. I have moved over to giving bloom now. She is showing light mag issue so I added Xpert Nutrients Calmag and have been feeding the 20L pot without it fully drying up. I love soil growing. Day 38-39 She's pushing on at an alarming rate. I did not plan for it to be these big. They're going to get 50-100% bigger. So, it's not necessarily their size now. But in 3 weeks. I need to start using IR in my flower tent to push my fems into high gear. Adding 2hrs of extra light should easily cut days to a week depending where they are. Got to also becareful as if I add IR to anything in preflower it'll stretch like crazy. So, im at least 5 days or so before my flower tent will have no preflowering plants just all girls into heavy flower. This plant will STAY away from any IR 730nm for at least another 2-3 weeks. So, she'll do all her preflower under the p1000, which will be an issue in itself. Day 40-42 Took her down to separate her as they're far to close, to big and too many shoots not to do anything will only set the mid-lower parts back weeks during the flower process. I did do some very very light lollipopping at the very ends. The shoots were the smallest. And removed their fans obviously. That's the only defol I've done more or less over this ENTIRE grow. Which is very rare for me not to remove some leaves. With autos, you really shouldn't. Some can take it & still do well. But left alone. And good lighting/airflow throughout the plants. Has really made a huge difference. I separated them as best I could with as minimal stress as possible. It'll take a few hours to look all pretty again when she settles. She'll look really good. No HST/Defols done in any major way. Left it all. And just let them do their thing. Working with it, the smell is LOVELY like a black berry smell. Is absolutely lovely scent she's giving off. But, she is a good candidate for stealth growing. Only when she's worked on does she pong. And you have to be close to smell it. Day 42 and she's doing AMAZING. Really happy to see both phenos looking beautiful & separated really well. Hoping she'll push through pre flower in the next 10-12 days. I had a horrible germination rate then the seedling I finally got was very weak. So I made the best of it, and finished the grow. Frosty buds nice color. Great smell. The Gen 1:11 nutrition works good. Was just the first time using it in DWC. Good looking nugs. Just not one of my best grows. Hello again, Growdiaries community! 😎 We’ve reached Week 8 (Flower Week 2), and my Critical is officially exploding! The transition has been incredibly smooth, and the plant is showing a fantastic response to the 12/12 light cycle. 📏 Evolution & Height: The plant has reached 30 cm today. The stretch is in full swing—she has gained 6 cm in just a few days! Due to this growth, the distance to the light has naturally decreased to 50 cm, which is giving the tops a great boost in intensity. The 4 main colas are developing beautifully and staying perfectly leveled. ✂️ Techniques & Structure: -Successful Lollipop: The lower pruning (defoliation) I did a few days ago was a game-changer. Airflow in the 'bunker' is now optimal, and all the energy is clearly being channeled into the top bud sites. -Fasciated Stem: The main stem is becoming a real beast, thick and sturdy enough to support the upcoming flower weight. -Visual Update: As promised, all the photos attached are from today, showing the most up-to-date progress. 💧 Watering & Nutrition: -Method: I decide when to water by feeling the substrate with my fingers to check the moisture levels accurately. -Volume: 1 Liter of lukewarm water. -Dose: Stepped up the nutrients to support early flower formation: 1 ml/L Bio-Grow, 2 ml/L Bio-Bloom, and 1 ml/L Top-Max. 🌤️ Environment (Terrace Bunker): -Lighting: My QBK1500PLUS (150W) is running at 100% with the Bloom switch ON. -Climate: Stable at 27°C (Lights ON) and 18°C (Lights OFF).
