On may 6, the seedling broke through the earth. Seedling developed well in the first week. It was watered every day with a spray bottle (approx. 50ml a day) with collected rainwater in small circles around the seedling. After day 4, the first roots could be seen at the bottom of the pot. This weeks weather was pretty good for the start. The daytime temperatures fluctuated between 18 and 26 degrees in the first week, as you can see from the past weather data. (The weather report is added at the end of each week and is based on real weather events, i.e. it is not a forecast). As already mentioned the plant receives additional hours light from an LED bulb (17W, 4000K, 2500 Lumen) for the first days to make them more resistant to pests and severe weather conditions. i was surprised that she was done on 2/15/25 spidermites had completely taken over one bud so i decided to check trichomes and she seemed ready.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Quick flipping this week! All systems go 🚀!! Did some LST to spread out canopy. One of my Yacht Party clones wants to be a runt but I’m sure this will change after 1st week flower, otherwise everything else is growing uniformly! Lookin forward to changing the schedule after our last cold snap passes in my area.

We will start to check the tricomes next week but i think that some more time is needed, the buds are nice and fat and have a tremendous smell, great strain, specially if you like something easy to grow, its really a pleasure growing this strain, i took some monster crops some weeks ago and have a separate diary for these 😁

08/29/2018 Been a hot week but the girls don't seem to mind,90s in the day 82° at night and sticky,muggy weather. Their leaves all pointing ☝️,lets me know they are happy ☺️ .watered with plain water they were pretty dry pots weight was very light. Will feed and water in in morning sleep well and medicated😎 08/31/2018 Just a note today #1 is very green compared to the other 4 plants, could be potted plants running low on nitrogen? My soil has plenty according to soil test. I know last year's crop in soil was pale like other 4 plants, maybe biochar is helping soil retain it's nutes better? Year 2 for biochar, first year could have tied up some nutes....hmmm? Ps Last feeding today Fox farms big bloom at heavy feeder dose 1/2 cup per gallon, should see nice gains this week! 🙏🙏🙏. Pss. 64 days after i planted her seed directly in a pot outside 😱the reaper came, i hung her upside down for 6days then cut her &put her on a net to dry some more While cutting I found some little catterpillars about 5 guess that were the eggs that I found on some of the plants last week.☺️ After a few days drying on the net i weighed it:53,6gr The taste is great I'm very happy with the result catterpillars included☺️

Well NO ONE on this site reached out to try and help and I was kind of disappointed in that with so many great artists. I had to take my issues over and join ILGM. The veins were dark on MOBY and yellowing from the middle and it turned out to be a potassium deficiency and a potential build up but I don’t have my new ppm meter to get the whole truth. I upped my Demeter’s destiny and my hurculean harvest and let it run off more than usual. This lady is out of lock out and reaching for the sky in one day with leaves coming back to color!!! Hopefully the stall didn’t set me too far back. Going to switch away from the HLG 60 and mars 300 and put them under a brand new HLG 550 v2 this weekend in the main tent!

Well I have to say even though I had a few temperature issues in the night that I think may have stressed them. They took a lot longer than expected but after drying I don’t know how but I ended up with some fantastic tasty buds a few of the plants even came out purple!! I have to say the purple buds are my favourite 🤩 fastbuds never disappoints!!!!!
