Late update for this week 4 of flower... Went on a quick trip, a couple days away from the ladies. They did get thirsty but didn't droop much, and perked up after watering. To start the week, earthworm topdress per the uprising bloom feed chart. 1/2c per pot. Finished off the tea and have watered a few more times with just calmag and bloom boost. The trichomes are finally coming in, things are looking beautiful as the buds fatten and the leaves frost over. The smell is getting stronger every day. Speaking of smell, I've fallen in love with every strain all over, because I can finally touch and smell the sticky resin. From worst to best so far: Blueberry Muffin does not have a strong smell yet. It smells like sweet syrup spilled in a cedar cabinet. Chocolate Mint OG is complex. Rubber, roasted chocolate, fresh damp earth, dank, and more... Permanent Marker smells very much like one of my favorite strains, Chemdog. Pungent gassy chemical funk, backed by a bit of citrus, with hints of mossy earth. Orangecello is the star of the show. It has a strong smell I've found in strains like Forbidden Runtz and other high terpinolene strains. It smells like a sweet candy paint. I've heard it described as rotten fruit. It also smells a bit like sunscreen, like nail polish remover and fake chemical tropical coconut scent. Things are really getting close to the home stretch. I think the plants are done stretching and are ready to fatten up those buds and frost over. I can't wait to taste!

Another problem free week. This strain is impressive. She's grown unbelievabley quick and she's starting to give off a lovely aroma. The next few weeks is where she's going to fill out.. just maybe... I might get this harvested for Christmas 🤣👌🏼🙌🏼💯

1/16/2023 - Day 14: not much new to report. All 6 plants are continuing to look healthy. The Grand Prix seem to be a bit smaller than the Frozen White Runtz and Ice Bath. They all look good though. 1/18/2023 - Day 16: clipped a leaf off each Grand Prix to send it in for a genetic test to determine the sex. I used Farmer Freeman. Nothing else to report at this time. 1/20/2023 - Day 18: watered all 6 plants and foliar fed with the same water. Ph was 6.6, and mixed with ThermX-70, FishShit, Rootwise Micro Complete, Pure Protein Dry organic fish fertilizer, BuildASoil Big 6, Rootwise Enzyme Elixer, Fermented Comfrey Extract, and Yah-Whey Thrive. I know I went crazy, but might as well use it if I have it. 1/21/2023 - Day 19: Plants are looking happy. They obviously loved the feeding yesterday

Here I was transplanting from solo cups to one gallon fabric pots they took very well to it. Didn't see no transplant stress.

Was a good productive week. I did give them a 30hr dark period before switching to 12/12 to really try to take advantage of the red spectrum on my light. (I read this somewhere so giving it a shot!) Also waiting to install second scrog, waiting for them to fill out a little more to help me guide the canopy as even as possible. The insides of both plants have new tops to fill in the gaps. The defoliation last week was the right move. The slower of the two up to this point is the front runner now so let's see how they continue to fill out. Temp finally dipped here so able to keep a more regulated temp. The 77-79 range seems to be what the girls are liking the most so I added a second fan to try and keep the night time humidity lower as well. Any comments or tips are much appreciated! Really enjoying learning all the steps/processes along the way so far! Cheers!

Agora sim o período de luz está em 12/12. Liguei o adicional de luz que alcança mais no espectro, o tom de vermelho, comecei entrar com ácido húmico, e uma proporção de NPK para suprir as necessidades da floração (BioBloom e TopMax). Com a mudança da luz, previsivelmente a planta começou a crescer bastante em altura, porém ainda não apresentou sinais de pré flora, o que é normal. Com certeza na próxima atualização veremos alguns pistilos.

The buds are really sticky and smell super strong. This stuff gives you a head high followed by relaxation. I dried for 14 days at 60 degrees Fahrenheit and 60 % RH.

Same feeding as last week, but after last dose of BigOne, some tips are burned showing nuterients limit again, so next 2 irrigations were with plain water but the result was she started to loose the dark green at the end of this weekso im trying to reverse this, rising TopBloom a little, next week will be feeding 3 ml/l adding 1 more ml/l, but at the moment no more Big One as the Buds are really full of hairs all over the plant Top Candy is almost ready to give some sugars next weeks Really developed a bush structure, im really happy :)

Hey hey everybody! We are back here this week at the beginning of week 13 and it is almost that time… time to flip? ….I wish…. No, no…. I am trying to be good but I think I came up with a plan that will give me a rough idea of when I will see that light at the end of the tunnel- or we’ll at least flip that light to 12/12 haha- No no it is almost Christmas and things have been crazy over here. With the holiday madness upon us, I can’t tell all of you how much I have appreciated the relative silence (you know how it is, there are multiple fans running) time seems to slow down and it just us and the plants. Quite enjoyable. So as you already know, we are going to be on coast until we fill out the rest of that 3x3 scrog net- however just today on my way into work, I came up with what might be my new definitive plan… I have had a bit of trouble waiting, no doubt it will be worth the wait, but the wait has been difficult none the less… so here it is.. Here’s what I’m thinking- I have this going and I also have some fastbuds growing in the same area. What I am most likely going to do- is wait until it’s time for the fastbuds to come down to open up some space in the 5x5 and the rock candy cake can have all that space to herself- I will shift the scrog into the center of the tent and then flip the light schedule to 12/12 and let it run wild- it’s at this point I will most likely employ a more hands off approach so it can focus all of its energy on producing buds worthy of such a wait. The canopy is getting pretty lush and I really need to get in there and defoliate- I really lucked out, today was the last day I had to work until after Christmas so you KNOW I will be in there tomorrow plucking away at leaves (strategically of course) half kidding I’m probably still a whirlwind compared to some, but I’ve noticed- especially when it comes to autos, that my leaf selection has become much more refined when defoliating. PROBABLY gonna see a BIT less of that tomorrow as I have to open up the canopy but I still plan on being careful. Something else that was super cool who may not be following along with the other journal, happened oddly enough just the other day when I was doing dishes- I was scrubbing away with my phone all propped up so I could watch/listen to dude grows. And I heard the dude mention a contest on their website that I had entered… of course my ears perked up, I leaned in a little closer to take a look and was thinking to myself how cool it would be, even to see my picture in the background and sure enough there it was and they brought it up and commented on the submission and seemed to be genuinely enthused by it and let me tell you I am STILL riding high off that one! One thing that was cool too was a rep at a nutrient company had seen that and congratulated me as well and it was again just so cool and I’m honored to have been on there! I listen to them practically everyday at work- yeah words are not doing it justice right now but I was stoked!!! Other than that, the holidays are practically upon us so I’d imagine it’ll be a whole lot of family activity with a side of unintentional neglect that I plan on keeping to an absolute minimum because we are right around the corner from some excitement in that tent- that thing is going to be HUGE! So we have that to look forward to! And on that note, I just want to say that from our home to yours, I truly hope you all have a wonderful holiday season and I can’t wait to come back and get into the garden talk with all my growmies! Midway through week 3 and things have taken off since I transplanted this past weekend! Still no nutrients added. Drilled holes in the sides...can't wait to tie them down. Side branching will do much better in the near future Sunday Feb. 10th update -It has been one week since I transplanted -plants have been tied down -trying to manipulate leaves so side branching gets light exposure -SECOND light is coming tomorrow -very difficult to get enough light on all 4 with 1 light -By the end of this week I plan on transplanting into Final Pots and prepare clones -Watch how crazy week 4 gets!
