Quite an uneventful week really, we are getting closer to harvest, but judging by her trichomes she has at least a week.. I’m hoping so anyway. I have a strawberry banana auto just about to be harvested, I wanted to do them separately. Time will tell how that pans out. I was concerned about the fading tips, but I do think this is the fade and not a nutrient/ph issue. Fed today, and just letting her do her thing. She smells amazing, I actually prefer her scent to the sweet strawberry smell. (Which don’t get me wrong is lush) but northern lights smells old school, really skunk weed smell. Just lovely. Moby 1 :bueno después de sacar la segunda tanda de esquejes decidi dejar que empiese la flora para esta Moby 1 ya que cumplió su función de ser madre hago esto porque tebgo más de 2 esquejes ya y más por enraizar y quiero tener slgo de producción de exterior antes de la primavera no va a ser fácil ya entramos en invierno desde ayer y ya las moches están muy frías!! Ya voy a sacar foto de donde la pongo arriba una tipo alfombra q cuelgo en una soga para taparla de la helada la maceta con naylon tipo burbuja qué frena un poco el frío del balde de 10L y además la apoyo arriba de otra maceta para q no este cerca del frío del piso o en el piso ya que se enfriara mucho y crecería más lento. Moby 2 :Todavía en vegetativo después de sacarle un par de esquejes también solo que quisiera q crezca más para pasarla a flora,sempece la flora en exterior ya q 3n la carpa tengo los esquejes enraizando y uno ya solo en un balde de 7 L aproximadamente la tengo 4 hs a la obscuridad de noche al lado de la Moby 1 y después la entro y la dejo en un pasillo con luz común led blanca como refuerzo.

Bio Tabs NL. vs. Weedefix (Stuttgart/ Germany) Blütetag: 49 (BW7) Aktuell ist weiterhin eine difizitäre Entwicklung zu beobachten. Die Blätter sterben zunehmend ab. Das Vorgehen ist das selbe wie immer. Rein nach Bio Tabs NL Schema 🤷 Die Blütenbildung verläuft aktuell zwar echt noch gut, aber ihr Erscheinungsbild in Sachen Gesundheit lässt zu wünschen übrig. Sieht aus wie ein massiver CalMag Mangel, allerdings kann das fast nicht sein. Daher gerne Erfahrungem hierzu? Ansonsten nur Wasser. week 3 is a tough rn not gonna lie shes yellowing extremely fast and shes begging me for potassium. i was just giving her 2 tsps to 3 gallons of water. as of today (jan 8 2022) i gave her a feed of 1 and 1/4 bloom and 1/4 veg nutes to try to fight the yellowing. i honestly dont know if that was the right thing to do most threads i read just said to add some nitrogen but idk if dyna gros bloom and grow are meant to be mixed. especially this late in flower. either way its too late i already gave it to her i guess now all i can do is wait and see what happens. you can see how fast the yellowing is happening too.

Well, another week has passed and the end of the second week has come and the pistils have already shown themselves and I continue watering with top crop bloom, first time testing this fertilizer and I'm only using two of them, top veg and top bloom, next cycle I'm going to use General Hydroponics fertilizers because I have a friend who uses them and he's having great results, I still want to talk to my friends about this strain because I think it hasn't grown as it should, but anyway we're studying to improve ourselves for the next ones, the rest is all experience for the next ones it grows. =D

This was an easy grow, and had some amazing results. This is some of my best homegrown to date ❤️ the ladies were easy to manage, no PM, pests or disease. The root balls were enormous, wasn’t much soil to recover. They got heavy in the end from the weight but managed to stay upright for the most part. They were big stretchers , prepare for that, scrog was a good way to go but some of the eager beavers got away from me, which ended in some massive colas. Overall easy to grow, no surprises and you won’t regret the results! 10/10 ❤️👊🤤

Welcome to the last week! The ladies are allready showing some discoloration on the leaves. This last week they will only get plain cold water, no nutrients.

Day 28-35 (Day 29) I had some leftover pH 5.5 water from my other grow, it’s a little acidic but my medium is pretty base so it should balance itself out soon. (Day 30) Plants didn’t respond well overnight. They’re drooping and not looking very happy anymore. I’m guessing they will still recover in the next few days though. I’ve got to stay more consistent with the water. I’m going to make a water formula and consistently use it every time. I don’t like these pH fluctuations. (Day 33) I’m going to sprout 8 more plants today to help fill out the tent before I flip. I will be using pretty lame genetics but I will probably still find something I like. Got x2 SM Jack Herer, x2 SM Blueberry, x2 SM The White OG, x2 SM Badazz OG cheese. Last time I ran badazz og cheese it grew fine and yielded well but it got some pretty bad powdery mildew and the quality was lacking. I will make sure to give as many preventative sprays as possible before flip. This whole tent is highly susceptible to powdery mildew so I might be in for some issues later down the road. I will make sure to vacuum frequently and spray down the tent and my equipment as much as possible. The slurricane has recovered from its topping and is producing two new main stems. Its going through water quite fast so I’m going to transplant into a 1.7g pot. (Day 35) Dropped the ball hard today and accidentally knocked over the tray with all my new seedlings. Good news is they just got watered and were firm enough to keep all 8 seeds rooted and in place. Bad news is I mixed up almost every single container..... The only plant I am certain of the genetics is one of the cheeses. The other 7 are all mixed up! I’m sure I can tell all 4 apart by late mid-late flower, but this just sucks. I guess I will number them like prisoners 😭😭 I overwatered the slurricane a bit and it is looking like it has a lockout of some sort or it could be from the foliar spray. I’m going to back off and let it do it’s thing for the next week. I hope all the stress I’m putting it through will slow it down to the level of the locos and garlics. Garlics are looking happy so I’m going to transplant them into 1.7s today. Might as well get this slurricane, guava and locos transplanted too. Guava appears to be growing quite healthy but has had interveinal chlorosis since it has sprouted. If it doesn’t green up in the next week I will pull it. Man, I can’t help but feel this grow has been cursed since the beginning. Although a rough past don’t always make for rough future. I found a way to consistently pH my water to 6.2 every time. I’m starting with 60ml of chlorine free bottle, adding in 2000ml of RO water and just that alone gets me to 6.2. I can also add in 3ml of remo nutrients calmag, 2ml of EM1 microbes, 2ml of 0-0-15 kelp extract and the pH will stay stable at 6.2.

Tag 70 : Die 4. Blütewoche beginnt. Die Shogun wächst prächtig. Die Zweige in der Mitte sind kerzengerade gewachsen, nur die 4 Zweige in den Ecken muss ich stützen. Sie besitzt unglaublich viel Blütenansätze 😍 Ich habe sogar noch ein paar cm für die Lampe 😎 Alles in allem ist die Dame ausgesprochen pflegeleicht 😘

######################################### HARVEST (Day 93 / June 4) ######################################### ----------------------------------------------------------- GROW SUMMARY ----------------------------------------------------------- Grown in 4x4 tent - but I only used 2x2 space because of heater and dehumidification and other plants (Outlier Z). This plant used a dedicated CMH 315 light. The plant was grown in hydroponics using a custom single-site PA hydroponics clone RDWC system with Advanced Nutrients Sensi Coco line, Microbial Mass and Orca for beneficials. I also experimented with Rapid start in the RDWC system, but I didn't see explosive root growth relying on Rapid Start as an additive to the system verse using it when starting in rapid rooters which worked well. All around a pretty easy grow and things went very well. Topped twice for a mainline structure and she really spread out. Sparkling golf ball size nugs down the branches and spaced out nicely. The scent off her was like burned rubber/tires or maybe fresh blacktop. A single water change which was only performed when switching to bloom nutrients around week 7. ----------------------------------------------------------- HARVEST ----------------------------------------------------------- No dark period and no flush. On day 93 she was chopped and hung to dry. ----------------------------------------------------------- DRYING ----------------------------------------------------------- Entire plant hung upside down for 15 days. The temps were dialed in at 60F by using the S6 intake fan pulling air from the AC through intake vent on side of the tent. Humidity was dialed in at 63%/60F for 24hr, 62%/60F for the next 48hr. Then 60%/60F for the third day and onward. AC Infinity T6/S6 exhaust and intake fans were on the setting of '2' during drying until day 7, then I could turn down to a setting of '1' once the plants were not transpiring excess moisture. Trimmed on day 18. Then the jars were left open in the tent for another 12 more days for a full 30 day dry at 60%/60F while rolling the jars frequently. Also ran dehumidifier in the tent but it only ran for 1-2 minutes every hour because the AC was doing most of the dehumidification on the intake. ----------------------------------------------------------- TRIMMING ----------------------------------------------------------- Trimming was an absolute breeze. All swelled nuggets, very little sugar leafs left to trim. ----------------------------------------------------------- CURING ----------------------------------------------------------- Flower product was transferred to 1L mason jars averaging 35g of product per jar. I added a mini hygrometer to each jar and chose not to use a boveda this time. The RH averaged 62-64% when trimmed flowers went in jars. Jars were left open in the tent for a total dry time of 30 days from harvest keeping the tent at 60%/60F. Once closed, the jars were burped once a day for the first seven days, once every other day for the next seven days, rolling jars often. The burp was only for 3-5 second for air exchange until a. 62% was maintained in the jar. ----------------------------------------------------------- YIELD ----------------------------------------------------------- * Weight calculated at 62% humidity after 30-day dry and 14-day cure. ============================== FLOWER PRODUCT ============================== 180.41g (6.44oz) ============================== TRIM PRODUCT ============================== 57g (2.03oz) ** All major fan leaves, stems, and branches removed from trim product. ============================== TOTAL OVERALL YIELD ============================== Total: 238.41g (8.51oz) ============================== SPACE YIELD ============================== 238.41g / 4 sqft (2x2 canopy) = 59.60g per sqft ============================== WATTAGE YIELD ============================== 315 Watts / 4 Square Foot (3x4 canopy) = 78.75 watts per sqft. 238.41g / 315 watts = 0.76 grams per watt ----------------------------------------------------------- PRODUCT TEST ----------------------------------------------------------- Bag appeal is top-notch. Trichome covered, with aromas of that unique 'kush' you can quickly identify based on experience. Best OG Kush I've ever tried, hands down! The flavour is kushy, smoke is smooth and definitely my favorite strain in my tote of cured harvests at the moment. I can't keep my hands off of the jars. Definitely not a daytime strain, even for experienced users, although I'll use it in the afternoon when life is throwing curve balls. The effects rise you up, then sets you right down and will wash away all that anxiety after a long day. Put it this way....if I puff a few hours before bed, I still feel it the next morning when I peel my eyes open. No joke. I'll definitely be growing this one again, maybe even next run because I'll be sad when I run out. ----------------------------------------------------------- REGRETS ----------------------------------------------------------- Not running more of this amazing plant. ----------------------------------------------------------- NEXT RUN ----------------------------------------------------------- This was the first run at my new residence so it will take some time to get it dialed in. I had some calibration issues which are now fixed. I'm going to be shooting for 1gram per watt on the next run. ----------------------------------------------------------- FINAL THOUGHTS ----------------------------------------------------------- DarkOwl is the best autoflower I've grown yet. So she was chopped (wet trimmed) yesterday (F74) and is now hanging up to dry at 55% RH and temps between 15 and 18ºc. I made fresh frozen dry ice hash today using a 160 micron bubble bag, a flat surface, 8kg of dry ice and a couple 5 gal buckets. I already have the weights for that, which far exceeded my expectations. Those figures I will post once she is dried and in 1 quart screw top glass jars. People suppose dry ice hash is inferior quality vs bubble hash. I am not experienced enough to comment on that but must say it is extremely easy to make hash with dry ice, it took 40 mins to process 995g of trim which included sugar leaves, some stems and popcorn buds. I then pressed it into 3.5g briquettes for storage using a pollen press. As you can see from videos, this stuff is all blonde - and after already trying some today with some friends, it knocked our boots off! Will be back in 5-7 days with harvest figures, smoke analysis and other details! Happy growing all! P.s I ticked defoliation this week - the only week I intentionally cut any leaves off for the entire grow 😉
