It was a great week for this Sour D pheno. She is really starting to fatten up now and is noticeably different after every dark period in terms of the size of her flowers. She is getting tricky to move to the shower where I normally water so she will likely not move again until she is cut. This makes the watering process more tedious but it is a necessary evil to avoid any unwanted mishaps this late in the game. I already caused her to lean a bit from swaying back and forth carrying her across the room during the last fertigation. The buds still dont have a hugely pronounced smell (like I'd expect from Sour D) or much trichome coverage but I am reassured by the fact that she seems to be a late bloomer and is apparently just starting to take off in terms of flower production. I've only seen a scant number of orange pistils so I think she still has several weeks to go. If she starts to take on that characteristic gassy smell as puts on some frost so I can press her into decent rosin, I'll be more than happy with this run when it's all said and done. Einen wunderschönen guten Tag, liebe Grow-Community, und herzlich willkommen zur 26. und damit zu meiner letzten Woche meines kleinen Outdoorprojekts! Was war das für eine Reise, liebe Growcommunity, von Höhen bis Tiefen war alles dabei …😁 Nachdem letzte Woche fast alle Pflanzen gefällt wurden, ist heute der Lemon Tree dran. Die Ernte-Reports lade ich im Laufe der nächsten Tage hoch, da ich immer noch eine Kleinigkeit zu den einzelnen Strains und ihrem Anbauverhalten schreiben möchte. In diesem Report möchte ich die Saison noch einmal kurz Revue passieren lassen und eine kleine Aussicht auf zukünftige Projekte geben. Zur Saison: Was anfangs mit einem Indoor-Disaster begann, hat sich über den doch an manchen Stellen (mal wieder) eher bescheidenen Sommer zu einem doch ganz passablen Ernteergebnis mit 7(9) doch sehr unterschiedlichen und auf ihre Art besonderen Genetiken entwickelt. Ich habe diese 26 Wochen viel ausprobiert und doch echt noch eine ganze Menge über diese vielseitige Pflanze gelernt (und das, obwohl ich den Spaß schon ein bisschen mache). Und trotz allem werde ich. Ich werde mich doch wahrscheinlich etwas aus dem Outdoor-Game zurückziehen und das hat folgende Gründe: Ein entscheidender Punkt ist einfach der Grund, dass man wenig bis gar keinen Einfluss auf die Witterung hat und nie wirklich das volle Potenzial der Genetiken ausschöpfen kann. Sei es unerwarteter Regen, zu kalte Nächte oder der gute alte Sturm. Die Kombination mit der langen Kultivierungszeit ist doch oft eher mit Glücksspiel verbunden. Des Weiteren werde ich für die kommende Saison umziehen und den Spot (der wirklich die möglichst optimalen Bedingungen schafft) erst mal nicht bespielen. Zudem ergeben sich für das kommende Jahr viele Veränderungen und ich werde wahrscheinlich nicht die Zeit für so ein Projekt haben. Aber wir werden sehen... Was ich auf jeden Fall beibehalten werde, sind diese kleinen Reports jede Woche und der Austausch mit den Leuten auf dieser Seite. Ich habe mich über jede Rückmeldung eurerseits gefreut sowie über das wirklich positive Feedback. An dieser Stelle möchte ich mich bei euch allen bedanken, dass ihr mich auf diesem Weg begleitet habt, und hoffe, ihr hattet dabei genauso viel Spaß wie ich. Wenn der ein oder andere noch etwas mitnehmen konnte, noch besser!😊 In der Zukunft wird es hier (Stand jetzt) eher in Richtung Indoor/Living gehen. Einfach weil man mehr Einfluss auf die Klimaparameter hat und schlichtweg mehr aus den Genetiken rausholen kann (zumindest bei solchen Sommern wie diesem und letztem). Was die Genetiken angeht, wird es spannend bleiben. Während dieser Bericht lief, habe ich im Hintergrund fleißig Seeds gehortet. Und so haben sich das ein oder andere Päckchen aus dem Hause Karma Genetics (dem Master of Sours) sowie sq1 genetics + deren Schwesterfirma Robin Hood Seeds zu der Sammlung gesellt. Ob es jetzt genau die werden (oder doch eine von den gefühlt 2000 anderen Packs), kann ich euch allerdings noch nicht versprechen.😁 Ich denke auch darüber nach, mir einen Instagram-Account für Bilder und Videos in einer besseren Auflösung zu erstellen (nichts für ungut, Grow Diaries, aber manchmal sehen die Bilder aus, als hätte man sie mit einer versteckten Kamera aufgenommen). Aber was man so hört, bringt Instagram da auch seine Tücken mit sich. Aber auch hier werden wir sehen … Da ich keinen richtigen Ernteslot für die Blueberry sowie die Theia S1 habe. Füge ich sie diesem Bericht bei. Ein bisschen traurig bin ich ja schon, dass es jetzt zu Ende geht, aber gedanklich bin ich ehrlich gesagt schon bei der Planung neuer Projekte (man muss ja in Bewegung bleiben). Ich will einige Sachen in meinem Bericht stilistisch verändern, sowie die Aufbereitung der Berichte. Für den Anfang bin ich aber ganz zufrieden. Das soll es ein letztes Mal gewesen sein ( das klingt so endgültig, ist es aber nicht). Noch einmal ein großes Dankeschön an jeden, der das hier begleitet hat. I'm glad we caught this when we did. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. Day 35 Flowering: A great week for the ladies this week with their hunger outweighing the living soils capacity.!! I noticed the leaves were starting to fade out a little over the last week or so . I have experience of this from the last 2 crops with the living organic soil. It does seem that even 60L of soil with amendments is not enough to power through the whole cycle when I grow them bigger. This has now meant I can use the amazing MegaCrop again but as a support to the L.O.S . The herd and rootzone will happily work with MC and have no negative affect on the life there. I plan to push them on the feeds to give them a boost for the last couple of weeks growth to come. The FFT#9 and #10 are both pumping power into bud production nownwithbsome beautiful looking colas on the pair of them. FFT#9 Has spread her budstacks out quite well but did need a little supercropping on the side under the sp250 to stop her hitting the light and get her length some full spectrum too. She has a fuel , sweet smell in effect now and stinks my loft space out too. The shape and size of her buds is excellent. Each one is a chunky ,solid and packed stack of tightly squeezed in pistils and she is not stopping yet it seems. A beauty to work with so far. FFT#10 Her week has been bustly with the amount of effort she has packed into her tight hairy bud stacks. She is a wide lady too. Her dark colour is a warning of her potency I hope.... She has some very long , leafy colas compared to the FFT#9 but her trich production will see them put to good use in hash from the trimmed harvest. She smells really strong of sherbet when agitated or hungry so I wonder what her genetics were from amd cannotnwsit to find out all of these FTT mystery strains. not a bad one among them so far and I don't think there will any dissatisfaction from these girls either. I sowed cantaloupe bag seeds directly to flower box drip irrigation.I transplanted my white widow seedling to flower box. So the new line up this run is cantaloupe, blueberry, Girl Scout cookies and white widow. Cantaloupe seeds sprouted and i will keep the most vigorous grower.bb is throwing pistils.GSC is producing first set of true leaves. At the end of week 2 cantaloupe has first leaves so does white widow. My Gsc has first set of true leaves and my blueberry is putting out pistils and trichs.Things are going well
