So the power went out due to city power failure 6 hrs into the light cycle for the day. That was fun. Buds have started to put on some size, so thats great! We were also in the longest deep freeze where I live in 50 years so the basement ( grow room) got really cold... especially during the power outage. Leaves are showing purple due to ( what I believe) cold temps. Maybe the outtage actually helped them because since then they really started packing it on. Very nervous about the possibility of herming because of what happened but i am keeping a close eys on things.

Day 35 flowering: Damn these girls are beautiful. They have been constant throughout the grow and have no issues besides their flop is starting to happen. ,need to yo-yo soon no doubt. The buds are rock solid and do not move when squeezed. Smell is so beautiful and skittles sweet too. I am so glad i went with this strain as the main grow. With so long still to go and the bud swell still to come in another weeks time ,their yield should be good. Go Gz. love them

Lots of bud development, starting to stack up a bit. Thinking I will see a lot more bud growth in the coming weeks. The older PT is finishing up this week and starts our harvest for the next few weeks. I’ll be checking seeds on the buds I pollinated and trichomes on the others. There are a few random seeds isn’t he tent but so far it appears that the majority of the bud is seedless. I think I was able to minimize the pollen like I wanted to. Male plant was chopped at the beginning of this week after only a few pods opened. I only needed a few to get enough seeds to grow again in the future.

La mia coltivazione si sta riprendendo bene😆🦍💪 sono molto felice di non aver avuto ulteriori problemi,per ora, con la legge.. spero la situazione continui così! Be torniamo alla ragazza! La genetica XL sta facendo il suo corso ,infatti nonostante la dimensione del vaso sta mangiando molto bene i nutrienti e si ta formando una grande pianta robusta con una grande apicale, all'apparenza molto resistente! Si iniziano a scorgere i primi fiori e i primi sentori speziati! Mi stupisce soprattutto la struttura centrale della pianta che sta acquisendo delle striature rossastre molto tipiche! Sicuramente inizierà a crescere esponenzialmente ed occupare il poco spazio che l altra ragazza gli può cedere! Complimenti a Sweet seeds che continua a soprendermi con queste nuove genetiche XL e soprattutto anche alla qualità luce Mars hydro sempre presente sul posto! Buon 420 a tutti! The plants continue to kick ass. New French Macaron and Chem Brulee leaves are all 9-fingered now. Crazy happy plants. Sprayed with light BT spray (trying to avoid any caterpillar issues this year as much as possible) early in the week. Sprayed with light Neem Oil / Castile Soap (no more dawn, no more issues!) late in the week. Today, June 9, I also defoliated a bit. Keep in mind that I don't want to do much this year as far as topping and training, so I've done one simple top on all of the plants, and essentially have created 4 main colas for each plant. I only did this to create some airflow under the plant. I don't plan on doing a lot of this stuff. Gonna let the sunshine do her thing. Even though these girls have some hot-ass super soil in there, I'm still going to be doing some top-dressing. Mixed this up and slathered it on there on Saturday, June 12. ------

The weather was great this week!😁 maybe sometimes a bit to hot. Started with Cannazym because the plants where getting to much rain sometimes when I didn't see it coming. The conditions are an average of this week.

GOING ON VERY WELL...

As week 5 came to a close and we move into week 6 of flowering, I am having really high hopes for the end result. The buds started to get some light orange hairs which is really nice and they are really starting to thicken up! Towards the end of week 5 the plants started to show early signs of burn on their leaf tips, so I started the week 6 feeding a little early. In week 6 we bring the EC down quite a bit as we get into the late stages of flower. I also recently switch to measuring with EC vs PPM for ease and accuracy. Also at the end of week 5 I did a calibration on my coco for each plant as week 6 nutrients are much lighter. Coco Calibration Method 1. Mix up nutrients. 2. Water plants as normal and measure runoff. 3. If runoff EC is not at or close to the inflow EC a. Water more and keep measuring runoff until the runoff is at or close to the inflow EC 4. Do steps 1-3 for all plants (One at a time) Tips: - I use a shop vacuum that I stick the end in the bottom of the pot saucers and leave it on while I water so it sucks the runoff as soon as it drains out the pots. Then I measure, empty and water again until I hit my targets) For this calibration, I ended up using around 6 gallons of nutrient solution. Watering technique used is to measure runoff at every watering and make sure we are staying as close as possible to the inflow EC. It does not matter how much water you need to put through the pots to get to the desired EC on runoff as that is a benefit of Coco. My main goal is to keep my runoff in check and the plants seem to do better than I have ever grown before! The smell off these ladies are amazing and strong. I don't have a carbon filter and enjoy her smells and aromas all day long as my desk is right next to my tent. There were no issues in Week 5. Plants continue to look amazing and the buds are continuing to bud up and structure very nice! I'm excited to see the end result after the ripening and flush stages. Also the colors that are soon to come! Stay tuned! ______________ We are 5 days into week 6 and the buds continue to grow fatter and fatter on a daily basis. I'm really dialing in my EC and making sure to mix it at 1.1 EC and making sure my runoff is from 1.1-1.4. I started playing with the mix as I am getting used to the grow schedule and how the base nutrients effect the EC. I have found that doing 50% of the low strength calendar hits me right at my target EC and I don't have to dilute my mixture after. The smells continue to be strong and fill my house up. The weight is starting to make the colas lean over which is nice because it's opening up the canopy to get more light in. I'm very excited to see what the buds look like in week 7 and then we are on to ripening stage, flush, and then finally harvest!!
