Going to update with more pictures, going to take a couple days to dry and get a good weight and hopefully get somewhere close to the 64 grams of the ONLY sized Boveda packs I have right now 😇 -- UPDATE - Dec 20 2020 - Cure Day 😵😭 i once again got my hopes up by pulling the classic male "over-exaggerating" and all the wet weight came from the main stems. After 3 days or so of drying both plants together came in just under an ounce. The smell is great and I have no doubt it's quality bud but I need to up my density game somehow for sure. New nutrients or better set up, still very low-end with all my equipment as I've just slowly been finding affordable pieces to add as I go. Maybe more light? Feel free to hit me up below with ideas short of switching to a Hydro set up 😹 I can hardly afford my bags of soil so I definitely couldnt keep up with the financial costs of a Hydro set up yet 😓 Have had a few bowls of the dried/uncured bud and it's very nice, clean, and crazy good for being uncured at this point. 48 hrs. of dark are up and its time to chop. pots have dried from the last flush. These did not stretch as much as I would have liked I will have to adjust my light better next time and there was a lot of lower development near the media, hence not enough air flow. when I flushed the pots the water level went up to the lower growth on the Think different and the bottom was wet and rotted the bottom half. I did a mild lollypop on them I'm early flower it just was not enough, LESSON LEARNED. Chopped on 2/8/20 whole plant drying low and slow 54% RH 68F for 10-14 days then will trim and jar. 981 grams wet with the lumber. lets see how they dry. I got a rosin press coming today I will squeeze all the trim and larffy buds into dabs yummy! All in all I recommend these genetics I will try the think different again I'm sure I just got a recessive dwarf gene. I have seen other grows of this same strain same breeder that are huge and stacked. thanks again to Fast Buds 420 and Green Buzz Nutrients for suppling the goods for the grow. Plant has shown slow but healthy growth since its arrival, LST continues and I've managed to keep the plant at the same height it was last week but now at a horizontal angle. I did up the nutes for one feed to a slightly under recommended dose but in the days following I noticed the plant looking a little 'droopy' and since she has been with me she hasnt been drinking very well so I opted to flush her for a feed, since then she has seemed very happy :) whilst drinking much better (possible nute lock was imminent). Now back down to half doseages with the exception of CalMg (to help after flush) but will be increasing them in the following days. As of next week I will be transferring her and another plant my partner is nurturing into single bucket DWC set ups. Fingers crossed I will see some hearty results for making the crossover to hydro.

Sie hat die Hauptblütezeit überstanden und reift nun weiter. Ich konnte keinen weiteren Schimmel entdecken, das behandeln mit Isopropanol hat sehr gut gewirkt , dank für den Tip @Comfrey. Leider ist es gerade sehr windig, so dass Makro-Aufnahmen nicht möglich sind. Es vertrocknen bereits mehr Stempelhaare als neue nachwachsen. Vielleicht wird sie gleichzeitig mit der Durban Poison fertig, was mich vor logistische Platzprobleme bei der Trocknung stellt. Wieviel Wasser wird benötigt um einen 72l. Topf zu flushen oder erledigt das das Wetter von selbst outdoor? Its feathers at the tips of the shoots are beginning to turn reddish brown. It has survived the main flowering period and is now continuing to ripen. I couldn't find any more mould; treating it with isopropanol worked very well, thanks for the tip @Comfrey. Unfortunately, it's very windy at the moment, so macro shots are not possible. More pistil hairs are drying up than new ones are growing back. Perhaps it will be ready at the same time as the Durban Poison, which presents me with logistical space problems when it comes to drying. Grow diary 11 stage 7 Day 61-70 She has had to fend for herself most of the last 9 days. When I got back I was hoping she would be in flower. 70 days in and not in flower so she has fucked up my schedule a bit. But on the plus side she going to have a bigger harvest from the extra veg time.

November 2nd marks another week with "Verlena" and "Carolyn". Verlena has transitioned into flower, yet Carolyn remains in veg. I should be placing them both in their 3 gallon homes this week. November 3, 2021, Wednesday. Nothing new to report. November 4, 2021, Thursday. All is well no issues to report. November 5, 2021, Friday. I watered the girls with MG Organics 11-3-8 and they respond quickly and positively. November 6, 2021, Saturday. Watered again with MG Organics. November 7, 2021, Sunday. Day of rest.

Boy oh boy, the final day of the first Medusa F1 Hybrid 1/5. Seed to harvest in 93 days. The first medusa F1 grew super fast. Her vegetative period was very short, showing white pistils at day 18 already, but grew into a beautiful lady. The first medusa was only subjected to LST and a little defoliation. The other Medusa plants from my diary (2/5 and 4/5),were topped and this definitely increased the amount of flower sites. Nevertheless, she grew thick and fat with heavy buds smelling like a sweet petrol station. The pistils turn bright orange and many calyxes are formed with hardly any leaves in between. I noticed after week 11 she started producing new calyxis with white pistils and therefore I waited a bit longer. I would recommend this and wait a bit longer to see if it happens for you too. Some trichomes were starting to turn amber and I maybe could have waited a little longer, also for the lower part to develop more. She was cut down on the 18th of July and was placed in my dark dry tent for 13 days at a temperature of 18 °C and a humidity of 60%. A long and slow dry is important to preserve terpenes. After 13 days, on the 31st of July, the branches were making a cracking sound when bending, so I decided to take the branches out of the drying tent and trim them. My 4 x 200W lights (on the box) only pull 50W from the wall so I think they are not super good. I made pictures with a Nikon camera and a white background. I smoked some and she tastes peppery with a sweet aftertaste. I will smoke more after a good long cure for at least 2-4 weeks in my jars. Check the progress of my other medusa F1 diaries and see the full experiment if topping is beneficial for these F1's. I would recommend trying out these amazing genetics and see for yourself. We just build +1 Room, about 9Sq meter with 2000w HPS. We decide, cos we see a lot more of potence by this genetic i have to tell now, ~less is more~ ..if i talk about ammount pro sqM... As well we gonna change all small 6L pots for 11L. Where i see our reserve is, that we need to cut much more, of lower level‘s „bat‘s“ in VEG.. ⚠️ actually i know: „dont touch girl in bloom“ , but it was necesary last week.. really necessry to cut all that shit stuff on „bottom“ ... 330 girls on 16m2 in 6L & 11L pots

Week 14 is here! The girls are almost done, i see alot of amber trichomes and some cloudy, so i will begin the flush in the next couple of days and then harvest in a week or two. The buds are rock hard and extremely frosty, really sticky stuff! The smell is so strong and very sweet on the nose. I see some deficiencies in both of them but they are so close to done/flush that i'm not going to go ham with nutrients to fix them. Good growing everyone!

Harvest day for Grand Daddy Purple Auto! I did a wet trim & that really exposed her bud structure & Wow she is just a beauty! Definitely a great genetic. Her buds are heavy, dense and frosty. Purple beast! Hope my pictures do her justice. Super happy with one!!!! I'll update again after drying.😁😎😋

On day 1 the plants are looking good. I confirmed that my one cola was seeded, so I removed all visible seed pods. After this run I will do a deep cleaning to make sure there is no pollen in my grow box. The rest of my plant colas seem fine... I changed out my reservoir and adjusted the PH to 6.1. I also dimmed my light to 75% to mimic spring conditions. On day 2 I adjusted the PH of the reservoir down to 6.1. The plants are looking great besides a few fox tails from too much light. On day 3 the PH in the reservoir is 6.2. On day 4 I diluted my reservoir with plain water to lower the ppm down to 400 ppm, and I adjusted PH to 6.2 . The buds are ripening for sure and smell great! I haven't gotten any autumn colors yet even though I have dimmed my grow light and lowered my night time temps. I hope by 8 weeks the plants will have some more purple tones but if not I'm good with the flower quality thus far :). The breeder says 7-8 weeks so I'm hoping I am close to the finish line. I will continue to monitor the trichomes for ripeness. On day 5 I adjusted the reservoirs PH to 6.0. I harvested my seeded cola on Pheno #1 as it had stopped growing/ripening and would be a good tester ;) On day 6 the reservoirs PH is 6.2. On day 7 the PH is 6.0 50 % pistils have turned amber so I believe I have entered my harvest window and expect to flush and harvest soon:) very excited!

Day 9 and she looks as you guys can see lol i mean to my eyes she just looks amazing, she is fully recovered and full on going like there is no tomorrow , she is praying for 11h strait non stop and i could not be more happy with the way things are running. For this week i will keep the same food regime as last week, man i love how my girls love Aptus Holland and how well they respond to it all 💚💚💚🙏🙏🙏✊✊✊ I know she has a lot of leafs , but its only that hehehe since i clean the branches all up to the top before flipping her to flower leaving just the leafs to help them get more energy for this first 2 weeks of the flowering stage, after it i will defoliate the hell out of this lady best and let her focus her energies on but production, but for now i want her to stretch the most she can since she is not phenotype that stretches a lot 😅 non or lees she is an amazing bud machine i believe she will do it once again hehehe As for the Light intensity i took 12 readings over my canopy to find out my PAR and the average PPFD is 1013 Umol/m2/s, for those of you that do not know the meaning of this, it means photosynthetic photon flux density , this basically the number of photons going arround for plants to absorve in a determinate area, in this case my 3x3 room Day 11 and there were toooo many leafs for what my eyes are use too so i decided to defoliate her, this will also help stopping the stretch since she is doing it more than her mother did and space is not something i have in this 3x3 area lol she is drinking like crazy, 5,5 liters day and increasing, curious to see how much will she be drinking wen in full flower.
