They were super easy to grow but took ill very quickly and didn't bounce back all that well but no great impact on the harvest, I'm still really happy with what's on the scales and I learned plenty from this round.

Ok this week was a little exciting one of the plants developed an issue with one of its leaves. It's the only plant out of all of them it's hard to see from the picture but 2 out of the 5 fingers on the leaf had a burn and were shrivelled and also very very shiny. I looked it up and it suggested it was boron deficiency. I simply removed the affected areas and carried on as it was only localized too a couple of leaves and just on that one plant. The smaller plants are catching up now

The plant is producing decent buds with the classic Mimosa/Tangie/orange Terps. I've reduced the light cycle to 11 hours and dimmed the lamp to 85% to achieve lower temperatures and accelerate the plant's ripening process. The top leaves are receiving about 850 PPFD. Nutrient levels were significantly reduced this week.

Really resistance to anything that is causing her stress and as always really good yields even in worst case scenarios.

July 27th, 43 days post flip. Clones: I think at this point they are done growing. I keep having to super crop and twist and intertwine the branches beneath the light. At this point it has formed almost a bed in nature. I have some burnt leaves and tips but I’m not worried, I will have plenty of buds Plant number 2 has my favorite bud structure so far, close spacing and more modern. Plant number 3 seems to be an in between of 2 and 4 Plant number 4, the gigantic one, has these spear like buds. I suspect this may be the most primitive of the bunch and am looking forward to smoking it Plants finally starting to develop some distinct smells when I touch them. The one is very citrusy in nature Going to continue to give nothing but water, I may give some cal mag and maybe a little potassium but will see. Due to the fact that these grew above the light I’m looking at supplemental lighting I could run during the grow. Parents: Completely recovered from their topping two weeks ago. Going to continue to water and keep them happy God bless!

Shes booming through the stretch! Got branches rowing up great as she fills right out. Did a big defoliating of most the leaves under the first net. Allow some air flow through the under skirt. Did a preventative treatment using dr zhymes. Than gave her a good shower to wash off any residual build up. I'm just starting to see pre flowers coming in at the nodes. So she will still have some stretching period to go. I'd say atleast another week of stretching out and filling up my net. Before I start seeing those white stigma pom poms coming in at the bud sites. Lets see what this lady can do. Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

OG and CBD got the chop yesterday. Sorry I forgot to take pics of it. I was rushing through it as we had dinner plans and it took way longer than I expected. Was also pretty baked which didn’t help lol. They’re currently drying at buddy’s house so will take pics next week. OG was probably a bit early but I don’t mind an energetic high. She was also battling rot so I wanted to salvage as much as I could. Should get close to a pound from her and maybe a half pound from CBD. Gonna give Shark Shock one more week as she’s a bit behind the others. I’m not worried about rot as she’s been the most resilient. Temps are gonna get to the low single digits so I hope it doesn’t stress her too much. Her leaves are turning purple from the colder weather already.

The flowers have started to swell and increase in size nicely. She's not stretching much, so I guess, these 18cm will be it. She's getting a really shimmery purple colour. I tried capturing it in a video. I removed some of the older leaves to optimize for light and optimized fertilizer for bud size (Hi PLAGRON Alga Bloom!). Give us all your CBD goodness, purple lady!

Nun geht immer mehr mit den Buds doch leider wirkt auch der Mangel immer noch stark auf sie ein. Ich versuche weiterhin die Versorgung mit Komposttee zu gewährleisten.

Well its another update from down under.. and things are getting better with the Caramelo. She got badly burnt from my mistake of using too strong lime sulfur spray to treat spider mites and mold issues before they could take hold. And its kinda worked. lols...the mites are still there but reduced alot in number but I was almost ready to chop her after I saw how badly burnt all her new shoots were. But Im glad I decided to wait a bit as she has recovered faster than expected and while im sure she still has issue at the root level from the rain drenching her for near on a week- she basically stunted after that and never showed much stretch at all when switching to flower-she grew maybe 15cms in height total after that so Im assuming some kind of root rot has her and any harvest will be a bonus. In saying that Im still not going to be suprised if she suddenly dies or gets badly infected with bud rot out of the blue as Im nursing her hard just to get her to this stage and in my experience a nursed plant may produce a yield but it will be weaker than its meant to be and reduced by around 50% of the yield you should have got. if she was indoor id have ripped her out after the sighs she was stunted presented and started over with a new plant. But out doors I dont have that luxury so I will nurse her thru and hope for the best but expect less than average results. Zkittles though is loving life and just LOOK at her!! When you realize she was the same size as the Caramelo when the rain hit and now look at the difference- thats why i say when you see obvious signs of stunting-rip the plant if you can and start over, it may recover but if it was serious then the plant will never show its true potential and you may think those genetics are shit. Ive never grown the Caramelo before now so if i judge it on this result I will say the genetics are shit when the plant likely had root rot from 3 weeks before even switching to flower. And the BC buds hash plant is FINALLY flowering too now. For a 90% indica it sure is taking the longest to flower. I wonder if its the old school genetics at play here-This strain been around since the 70's while the ZkittleZ is a modern hybrid so maybe the newer genetics really are all they are cracked up to be. Thats why I love doing side by side grows out doors with diff genetics and see what they can really do. You should see my mates BC hashys- lmao, he said he wanted bigger plants than last year as he got "bonsai" plants from someone else. Now he has to tie down trees that are growing over his 6ft fence!! And they only just went into flower last week. But on that note- Will update more now as things progress towards harvest. Cheers for stopping by and if your still reading this-nice work, most pple cant read shit these days so double points for making it this far.

Hello Growmies 👊💚 the plants look happy and that's the way it should be 😀 I've topped all the plants, now I'm giving them some time to recover. unfortunately there will be no mainlining this time, it will be topping and lollipoping i aim for 16-32 colas per plant. I will train a Gorilla glue #4 clone with so I have 4 big plants for my 4 x 4 grow tent. Wish you all a blessed week friends 👊💚

Day 70: I installed a Vivosun GrowCam C4. Day 71: Check the new view into the tent. Nothing to do. Day 72: I cleaned the tank and refilled it with the nutrients mentioned above. Day 73: Nothing to do. Day 74: I bent the top branches a bit to the side to get the light a bit closer to reach the lower buds even better. I suspect her to be finished in 2 to 3 weeks. Day 75: At the start of her day, I noticed that the AquaValve was blocked. I had to clean the whole area. Now everything is working again. I also cleaned the tank and refilled it again. Day 75: Nothing to do. -------------------------------------------------------------- You also like to get some seeds from Fast Buds? You like a 15% discount? Hope everyone had a great Christmas!!! We have had some crazy cold weather here the last 4 days and for the first time in 13 years had snow on Christmas day. So with the cold and snow came grow room issues. My grow space is outside and not attached to the house so maintaining a proper temperature and humidity has been a bit on the difficult side. Even with the lights running 24 hours, it's had a few drops down to 19c and the humidity has gone up to 68% a few times. Now luckly I'm still in veg and the humidity isn't a issue yet but the temperature has been making me worried. Going to put togther a heater with its own temperature switch increase it drops below 20c. Did some training over the last week with some LST and FIMing. With the LST every 3nd day I've been adjusting them and pulling the plants back a bit more and more. Since I don't think I'll be able to set up a SCRog net this go around (spent to much for Christmas and wont be able to affordthe PVC tubing) ive got to figure out something else and fast. Plants are getting big and it's going to get hard to bend then properly without braking stuff. Because I was showing some issues with 2 of my plants I started adding a bit of Revive to my res to see if they get better and they have. But because of the cold that's been hitting us my tank has had a hard time staying warm. Even with my 50w tank heater it's been fighting a up hill battle because the area outside the main room where the tank is, has been sitting around 14-17c. So with that the air pump I use to circulate the tank, it is pulling in cold air and thats been fighting the tank heater in getting it up to what I like it at. I tried using my water pump instead of the air pump for circulation and the res went up to 25.6c soooo I would much rather have 19c res then water that could kill my plants. So let's talk about the plants themselves. Both Special Queen plants are doing great but as you can see from the picture, one is doing absolutely amazing. Great growth (understatement) and has bounced back from training like a pro. The other plant is still doing really good when compared to all the other plants in the room but still could be a little bit better. Depending on what I'm going to do for supporting the plants this might be the last week of veg. Well see. Well that's all growmies. Happy growing everyone!!!
