9.2.25: The plants had a good watering, they're all still drinking a lot. Which is great, as that means growth, which, at this stage, we desperately need! I went ahead and gave all the plants a thorough watering each with: 2ltrs of dechlorinated water, PH'd to 6.5 with:- ♡ 4ml of Xpert Nutrients Bloom Booster ♡ 4ml of Xpert Nutrients Cal-Mag amino acids ♡ 4ml Seaweed extract liquid I don't know how this scrog net is going to work out. I think the squares are too big. It's elasticated, which I like. However, I'm extremely cautious with watering and moving the net. It's only a matter of time before I break more branches. It's such a hassle with it in there, honestly. I can't get in the tent properly to even check the weight of pots, as it's all weaved through, and again, I will snap branches. I did have a free net with the tent, which I think was smaller squares. I think I will use some other training next run. It's really not my kind of setup. I'm too interested in moving things and inspecting the plants constantly. The net is driving me up the wall. 😣 I'm considering removing it and trying something else, but it's also a bit too late for oldest plants.9.2.25: Gave the plants another good soak. Do-sì-dos is growing vigorously and looking promising, especially considering all my unfortunate mishaps! 😅 Watermelon also has considerable growth. We had a 100 percent germination rate on the iced up cherries and tropixx by square1 genetics. Today we transplanted the plants into our 1 gallon Veg pots into our organic living super soil. We fed the girls our bounce back recipe to help with the stress of transplant and topping. We will let the girls adjust for a week and then begin our LST. Video is 6 hours after transplant.

DAY 14 VEG. Hi growmies. I hope the green gods have been present in your grows this week. It has been a fairly good week for some of the girls this week but the tiny little Mexican airline had me convinced it would give in. Thankfully she hasn't and has now started to really begin growing with some healthy looking new growth pushing through in the last few days. Similar with the Strawberry Pie #2 and her toxic shocked look , she has got over the soils strength ow j think and begun to form normal leaves without the twist and darker colour ( clear sign of not liking something!) All of the plants have settled in fully now and the soil has started to work its magic hopefully. Trying to get the water cycle on point is the next task with it. I have been using 10L watering sessions to get it moist and will use a cheap soil probe to check the bottom for waterlogging . Next watering I will add the biosys tea again to support the soil life. The amendments should have all broken down nicely now so it is just watering from here in in hopefully. With ising 1 bed for 3 plants , I will be watching for the leaf green shade lightening , especially in flowering , and if needed use Megacrop as an additional feed. At this point it looks like the Strawberry Pie #1 and six Shooter #2 are leading the field but I get the feeling this light will help even that race quick sharp. I have now put it to 100% power as I do think these ladies will go for it this week now. No decision on the training yet but in will let their growth guide that one . TIP SPREADING I am using a method I learnt about a while back called tip spreading. It is a very simple process but can be very helpful if trying to control height in minutes spaces. It can also help to lessen the gap lengths between nodes on leggy strains. It is by no means a guarantee that the tall sativas will become bonsai bushes by a long shot but it does help to shorten the gaps there too. It is done while the plants are in veg and as each new pair of leaves form on the grow tips , we gently open them out so that the new emerging below gets light to it . This will encourage it to grow out quicker than waiting until the previous node has gone through the slower process of opening naturally. We are essentially rushing their growth for them. They are very delicate at this stage so it is a gentle process that must be done with a lot of caution and a slow pace. Hopefully the video will help and the effects will be shown during the growth over the next few days/weeks. Be safe growmies.

Since last week she’s only grown a Mear half an inch and has slowed down considerably! Could of been the hydro/coco nutes or could just be one of them things that happen ya know as the rest are fine and growing at fast paces and all have been treated the same and fed the same etc! But yeah some plants react different to nutrients and yes wrong nute formulas can do this as I’m testing the theory on an auto I started outside that’s now inside on its own and it’s showing so many problems so I get to highly suggest no one makes the mistake of thinking it’s ok to use them! I only ended up using them due to being Mis sod over a counter and I expected without reading it to be what I’d asked for! But we’re here and lessons are learned! But she’s smelling so sweet and tasty already and well my purple couskush was a little slow then boomed and ended up being the biggest yielder so we’ll see! But either way I think I have another zammi in the mystery mix DOSIDOS it’s either that or purple punch! I’m just waiting to see! 😌

This was a great grow and only my second one so far. I am starting to figure out more about my setup and just keep learning things. My final harvest weights were more than I expected and I couldn't be happier!

End of week 6 and the girls are looking great! Gave them a good defoliation first day of the week (day 41 from seed) because I couldn't get the humidity below 65%. Glad I did, they were so bushy and lots of little branches in the middle, now so much cleaner and much much more airflow. Not sure if because of trimming but they barely grew this week. Blueberry is typically a bit shorter though so may just be the strain. Three plants look very similar with one plant looking 5-7 days behind. Starting to see colour starting already might be some beauties coming! Watering 3 liters a day per plant, just chugging along as the buds come in. Light up to 90% at 18" hitting 700umol/s. UV running 1 hour per day mid cycle 4" intake running around 60% 6" exhaust running 40% Upper oscillating fan 40% Lower oscillating fan on Low
