Actually week 5. Looking great so far

Over zealous with my LST and broke a side branch. Have stuck it back in with some cellotape, it's wilting and probably a gonner. Hey ho. Growth is good, I've added another spider farmer sf1000 and it is like light and day. When I turn it off and go back to 1 sf1000 it seems so dark!

End of 14/10 going 12 12 today. Rooted some SS after 6 days. Gg4 and HS on way in dome. Twenty20 Genetics stretchier because of outdoor genetics. All top stems pinch to slight pop to keepem short. 2 x 2 6 weeks veg success Not bad from seedling with 100w led shared all 4 so 25w each!

She's growing so fast. I was just watering the rockwool cube whenever it dried out but I put it in the net pot today and covered it in LECA clay pellets. I topped her yesterday as well. PH and ppm look good. I'm just going to plug in the dripper every once in a while until the roots start growing through the net pot. I don't want the rock wool to be submerged. The top is covered with clay now so shouldn't be susceptible to mold from the light reaching it. Looking at my last grow (CBD Blue Shark / Wedding Cake) I didn't provide enough light or nutrients at the start and wasn't able to top until week 6. Growing in peat/rockwool instead of paper towel/soil, adding nutrients right away, and using the HID grow light from the start instead of a smaller cloning light seem to have made a big difference.

I fell sick. Got diagnosed with gastric ulcer. Thats why i missed the first 3days. Didnt forget to feed her though. Her trichombes clouding up nicely. New growth at the lowest nodes too. Which i dont plan on touching. Harvest time is coming up fast. I can't wait either. New white hairs comin up so im gonna keep feeding. The amount wasnt looking too good either at the beginning but i have better hopes now.

Final weeks of flowering, she didn't turn purple unfortunately. Nevertheless buds are big and smelly. Leaves are starting to turn yellow, I have been removing old leaves every day. Harvest will come soon. No fertilization this week, only water.

Totaly forgot to take some pics from the dutch passion strains this week... all I got is a group photo and short video! Could have been a bit more hands on with the training but seems a like a nice and even canopy it´s emerging 😍 Defoliated a bit and trimmed the lower branches.

Week 2: Light Struggles, First Adjustments & the Patience Test Update: 14.03.25 Good morning, grow fam! Week 2 of my photoperiod journey is running – a mix of challenges and small wins. Here’s a look at the early days of my Blueberry and Durban Poison seedlings. Current Observations: Light Deficiency & Stretching Stems The first days post-germination were intense: The seedlings developed extremely long, thin stems (check the photos!), a clear sign of insufficient light. Since I’m intentionally avoiding extra lighting to save resources, I had to improvise: - Tray Rotation: I rotate the seedling tray multiple times a day to ensure even exposure to the weak March sunlight. - DIY Support: For the most stretched seedlings, a bent wire acts as a crutch to prevent them from collapsing. Interestingly, the tomato and cucumber plants in the same tray show no issues – their stems stay compact. Seems like veggies are better adapted to low-light conditions than cannabis! Nutrients & Alfa Boost: An Experiment Even though my Biobizz Lightmix should provide enough nutrients for the first weeks, I tested a sample of Alfa Boost (freebie from the grow shop) during watering. The product claims to boost roots and stress resistance – perfect for my light-stressed babies. So far, no negative reactions, but no explosive growth either. Slow Growth – No Cause for Concern The plants are growing just millimeters per day, but that’s okay. My focus is on building sturdy, resilient plants, not speed. Once days get longer and sunnier, growth should pick up. They’ll stay indoors until mid-May anyway – plenty of time to bulk up. Next Steps & Tweaks - Transplanting in 1–2 Weeks: Once the first true leaf pairs emerge, they’ll move to small pots with my Biobizz All-Mix blend. - First Topping Soon: Once the plants hit 4–5 nodes, I’ll top them to encourage bushier growth. Week 2 Takeaway: Patience is key! Even in suboptimal conditions, I trust Dutch Passion’s resilient genetics. Fingers crossed for greener progress next week. ITA: le piante stanno bene e crescono molto in fretta. Anche la strawberry lemonade è partita a pieno regime. Ho eseguito lst e defoliazione su tutte le piante eccetto per la SL. Da qui a pochi giorni conto di topparle di nuovo ed eseguire un altro lst. Al giorno 27 le piante hanno recuperato e sono state nuovamente toppate ENG: the plants are doing well and growing very fast. The strawberry lemonade has also started at full capacity. I performed lst and defoliation on all plants except SL. In a few days I plan to top them again and perform another lst On day 27 the plants recovered and were topped again
