Aug 16: Mimosa Shot is progressing but it has been cool and rainy lately. There are indications of P deficiency because of the cool weather. The top dressing of malted barley and Power Bloom will do its thing so Iโ€™m not worried about it. Hoping for more direct sunlight though. Aug 18: video shows use of far red light at dusk. To keep on a natural schedule, I use Civil Twilight as listed on timeanddate.com for my location. At this time of year it is getting earlier by 2-3 minutes every night. The far red 730 nm light puts the plant into dark mode two hours faster and is like getting a 26 h day. It works and is a good trick if you have daily access to your plants.

This is exactly the ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡ฆ morroccan ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡ฆ way of sifting resin from kief. Traditionally, apart the hand rubbing method, dry sifting through a mesh is the most used way to obtain resin, from ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ซ Afghanistan ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ซ or ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ตNepalese ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ต Mountains to ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡ฆ Morocc ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡ฆ Rif passing through Bekaa valley in ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡งLebanon ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡ง. The average size of meshes used vary from 90 to 180 microns and are mostly made by silk and for this reason uneven. I think the most productive ways to sift are Dry Ice andย  rotating pollinator + CO2, I've tried a DIY pollinator built by a friend and it can reach up to 20/25% of resin extracted at 120 microns and 15% at 90 microns. But smell and taste don't reach that traditionally extracted but this is another story. Morroccan way is good compromise between a stashbox or more evolute methods. It requires less than 10 dollar of expenses. You need: a basin or potย  without handles a heavy-duty plastic bag that contains the basin a pair of chopsticks a good 120 microns net an elastic band tape Kif or trim q.s. Here is the link where I buy my meshes. Very high quality, customable size and material (steel or nylon) and length and very kind vendor on AliExpress https://a.aliexpress.com/_uwfQzq Drum for 3 minutes. .....perhaps you will find that you have an innate talent as a drummer, throw the shit away and put your head right......

Fo' Twenny Back with another update on this awesome little Northern Light Blue Auto from Delicious Seeds! I have been giving plain tap water run through 2 KDF filters as of 9/5 and I moved her into the bloom room under quantum boards set on 12/12 to make room for the next run and maybe help her finish faster. 9/9 - She seems to be bulking up a bit in her last few days, but I waited a day too long to water and got she started to wilt/droop a bit. So, there are a few dead/brown leaves I've been having to pick out of her and thus begins pre-harvest defoliation. 9/13 - More defoliation and put her in a loosely sealed box to give 48-72 hours darkness. Harvest, coming soon. 9/15 - Checked her today and she could still use another day to dry out. I have never tried the darkness before harvest thing, but a lot of growers swear by it. So, I figure, why not? I will let her go until she is a bit drier and then give her the chop! Thanks for checking out my diary. If you liked this diary, check out my other diaries and give me a follow! Until next time... Peace โ˜ฎ๏ธ, Love ๐Ÿ’š, And Frosty Nugs โ„๏ธ๐ŸŒฒ! -Fo'Twenny

Thanks Pyramid Seeds for your good genetics. Not my first experience with PS, like them so much. I was happy to grow this baby. It my first experience with coco. No pH or ppm meters, nothing just my eyes and feeling whole process. Thanks to ru brend Plantators for good feedings and stims for awesome price. You always can ask me about everything, I'm always in connection.

She is very close to harvest so fresh water flushing has started. If I had to describe her buds I would say they are very COARSE. The ovules are very large in diameter compared to any other strain I've grown. I left the tape measure visible in the video for scale. Good? Helpful?

The girls are growing beautifully! ๐ŸŒฑ Iโ€™ve decided to leave them completely untouched this run โ€” no LST, no topping, nothing. Just letting them do their thing naturally. They seem to be loving the conditions and are responding with healthy, vigorous growth. Sometimes less is more! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Well, looks like autumn is here, so Iโ€™m starting the flush. The next waterings will be plain water at 260 ppm โ€” pretty much the lowest I can get without extra cost. Upd: I was trying to understand the plant through the readings, but due to my lack of experience, I still kept bouncing back and forth with the ppm. Thatโ€™s definitely not ideal. Next time Iโ€™ll try to rely on both experience and the meters.
