Week 4 Fattening up. Smell is strong, straight candy. Purple coming through already. Final defoliation in a couple days. Now it's time to pack on some weight.

Day 70 — Cruising right along with the grow. Can’t say enough about the Sensi Bloom. I will definitely be using it for the next grow. Both Veg and Bloom. Buds are really filling on the short LB. Getting fat and sticky. Smell is really nice as well. Remind me of the pot from the 70’s. I’m starting to stress a bit about when to harvest. I don’t have a magnifying glass strong enough to see the trichromes. Is there another telltale sign the plant is ready? I’m starting to see the red hairs so is that an indication flowering is winding down? I still think I have a couple weeks, but will be watching them closely. Thanks for reading.

📆 Week 15, 30 April - 6 May 2024 30 April - Turned light power to 75%. 1 May - Did a significant defoliation. 2-6 May - Observed and let the plant grow. 📑 I was debating on keeping the lights at 100%, or defoliating the plant. Defoliating won this time. There just wasnt enough light penetration getting to the lower buds (half the plant) to mature them for maximum growth and quality yield. So leaving the lights that bright did not achieve my expectations. It is a tricky situation when you start taking leaves away from a plant in flower, but when shadows are blocking bud developement you have to balance your grow and open it up. My method is to start with the lowest leaves and work your way up, use common sense, discard yellowing and damaged ones first, leaving the healthy green leaf on the plant. Then strategically remove the few that shadow the buds you want more focus on. Flipmode! Went and got a grow tent and flipped the Green Crack and her sisters to 12/12. Running my old mars-hydro light for this flowering run, until I have the $ saved for a new Samsung strip build. Removed the largest fan leaves from GC, other than that she's looking happy. Caught up... things are going well, Bruce stretched like crazy and has evened up its canopy to the others idk if it's that big bud in it or what. Lilac has looked a solid week and half ahead of the others since flower, she looks wicked though, trichromes are starting to build. I've done my last training, I usually go hard on thinning but I'm trying to be conservative and only uncover buds under leaves. Still same feeding routine.. looking forward to the finish line but know this is an important time with terms and trichromes beginning to resonate... I sick at this guy's but I want to get better at chronicling my grows.. so hourly I will improve in the process of Journaling.

Growing really well, still think this one will be my heaviest yielding! She’s covered in a thick resin and continues to push pistils out, this one may have the density I’ve been trying to get. I think I’ve finally figured this strain out, looking forward to the bud off this girl. The bud that was pollinated is beginning to yellow, I will likely go ahead and snip that off towards the end of the week when the seed pods begin to open but before the seeds actually drop. Some of the other plants that had buds that were pollinated have already been harvested for the seeds. I left the remainder of the plants to finish up.

Actually she is not a triploid, was just an weird leaf that we could see in my last post. She is doing pretty nice, this is middle week 3 and and she is showing signs that next week start Bloom. She s hungry and growing aggressively, next week I'm gonna start with more nutrients and raise light lvl 20%.

Think this girl has taken a liking to her new home showing a couple more nodes this week, temperatures out now rising 🤩 sitting around 24-26c during the day! Drop seeds not 💣’s 🤓

A big shoutout to all the visitors and growmies reading this 👋👋👋 Blue Cheese grows nicely the biggest problem i got right now is space in the 60x60 (2'x2') it's very probably i will transplant one or both of the plants to a bigger grow room around next week. I did swap the nutrients for bloom this week that's why there's a little foxtailing on the Blue Cheese, it's the first time i'm using the Jungle Indabox nutrients on a plant that has roots in soil, so the concentration is a bit different, otherwise the plant looks healthy, preformed some defoliation too. Still I didn't notice any flowers but for sure next week will be a flowering week ;) The irreplaceable TS 1000 lamp from Mars Hydro runs now on 100% (all hand on deck ;) at a distance of 30cm. from the plants. Many thanks to Royal Queen Seeds for sending me two of their new strains, Green Gelato Automatic and HulkBerry Automatic. So this is the first of two new diaries. WHY GREEN GELATO AUTOMATIC? Green Gelato Automatic is the autoflowering version of a legendary cannabis variety. The original strain is the lovechild of Thin Mint Cookies and Sunset Sherbet. LET THE DIARY START OFFICIALLY: 10/06/2020. planting. I have prepared everything I need for planting. The 11lit fabric pot I got from RQS, also Organic Boost Nutrition and Mycorrhizza from RQS, Soil is Light-Mix from BioBizz and of course the seed of the new strain Green Gelato Automatic. After adding 50g of pellets from Organic Nutrition and 5g of Mycorrhizze, I mixed everything well in the pot. After that I watered well and soaked the soil, I dug a hole with a wooden stick about 2-3 cm, I first put 1g of mycorrhize and then put the seeds inside. I lightly covered the hole with earth and put the pot in his new home. The temperature was about 25 degrees and the humidity about 65%. 14/06/2020. She sprouted. After 4 days, Green Gelato came out. In the meantime, I sprayed the surface of the earth a little twice. The temperature is still around 26 degrees, thanks to the summer and the high temperature that enters the apartment anyway. I regulate the humidity with a humidifier, I maintain it around 60% -65%. 15/06/2020. She got a whole meal from BioBizz, Root-Juice, Bio-Heaven and Acti-Vera, p.H of water I regulated with Lemon Kick from Plagron. 25/06/2020. Day 7. End of the first week. For now, everything is great. It is developing nicely, its conditions are almost perfect. Green Gelato will also have two roommates in the box, HulkBerry Automatic. Just a watering today. Preparing for the flush which will begin in about 6 days. I have 90-100% cloudy/milky triches on all three plants which is pretty good timing-wise. I'm looking forward to seeing how these finish up. The scheduled lights off date is Feb. 16 but we'll let the ladies make the final call. 😎
