great plant, but unfortunately , it has big % of hermaphrodites.

June 21: interesting how the tie down leads to the lower growth tips growing much faster. This is likely a reliable way to improve yield without stressing the plant very much. The response of this plant to the tie down is a bit of a revelation. I didn’t think these plants would do much with the cold weather start and potentially bad soil, but in the last month they’ve done great. Now using tie down method on some other autos where it looks equally impressive. Influenced by @Roberts and his auto tie downs using 12 gauge wire. Didn’t think this diary would be a contender for best outdoor grow, but now I think I better start posting weekly videos.

Los cálices continúan apilándose mientras la producción de tricomas alcanza un nuevo nivel, cubriendo flores y hojas de azúcar con una gruesa capa de resina. La planta más vigorosa mantiene un mayor consumo de agua y nutrientes, mientras que la segunda sigue desarrollándose de forma muy equilibrada. Day 21 of flowerig going great. Gelato strain was too much bushy, so we had to defoliate it. Now all the works are done, only have to wait buds to get fat 😁.

So growing this strain was very easy i first topped her and then tied down every branch that came too high and she maintained a really compact form measuring only 40 cm from stalk to top.. Bud to leaf ratio was amazing too it had really few leaves and has been really easy to wet trim.. The wet weight was around 360 grams wet trimmed and the total dry weight after 5 days of drying was around 80 grams wich of this quality its outstanding for just 11 weeks from seed to harvest!! So in general i truly enjoying growing her looking at her wonderful colours in flower and will surely grow again.. This one is always a big yielder with great smelling Kolas. On the dry weight totals, I only used the significant pieces. I did not count any scrap as final weight

F1 Did some topping this last week. In a couple of days will turn them to flowering, would like to keep it between 3-4 weeks of veg at most with the Autopits or they grow way too big. Next week will be putting more nutes on the reservoir, by now that are drinking quite slowly but already using the Autopots

she smells so good I cant wait to chop her down. thinking about chopping her on monday, the 13th so I can have a little smoke of her on 4/20 possibly. seeing amber trichomes on the cola leaves and they are starting to turn amber elsewhere too. only will gain maturity when she drying
