Great week, harvested the Candy Kushs and the remaining girls are doing really well. I've stopped feeding them and just giving water now as I am away for a few weeks and wanted to keep it simple for my partner who is looking after them while I am away. The fastberry can probably be harvested already but decided to leave her longer and hopefully give buds more time to fatten up. The Bubble Kush is looking amazing and the buds are growing and gaps between buds getting smaller, she looks like she can do with a few more weeks, so she'll be perfect when I am back hopefully. This will be my last update until then probably.

Plant has been getting straight pH balanced water this last week and minimal nutes. It is showing some slight nute burn so I let off a bit and raised the light canopy about 6”. I discovered that what I thought was a calcium or potassium deficiency was actually a rookie grower error by me. I have an RO system that I use to water all my strains in the grow room including this one, but when adding nutes to the water, it takes too long so I had been filling them up with well water. When I had originally tested the well water, I must had used a faulty testing agent as after testing it this last week, I was showing a pH of 7.5 vs. my RO of 6.2. Thus, every time I was adding nutes (multiple times a week) I was significantly fluctuating the pH between regular feedings and nutrient additions. To make matters worse, when I originally thought it was nute burn, I flushed each plant with well water and likely caused additional stress. Anyway, I have since learned that the well water needs to be treated, I only utilize RO water the last few days and plan to do so over this next week. Also, I have turned off the CO2 system as I was starting to see signs of heat stress on a couple of the strains (Plant #1). The literature I have reviewed suggested that these strains might be able to handle heat closer to 90F but it was also causing issues with high humidity so when I added a dehumidifier, it pushed the day temp to between 90-92F and the overnight temps were not getting low enough (maybe 85F or so). Maybe I could leave out the dehumidifier, but I was getting rH of 70% and didn’t want to risk any bud rot or mildew growth. So for now, I have turned off the CO2 and am getting high temps of 81F with 60% humidity and overnight temps of 74F and 50% humidity. Plant #1 had some heat related curling of leaves as well as some of the lower leaves showing impact of the pH fluctuations. My hope is we will be steady until harvest. Plant #2 has shown the least signs of stress and is fattening up its buds very nicely. Late in the week, some of the leaves started turning brown from the pH issue but my hope is that with RO water only, we will be on the right track. Over the next few weeks I will start monitoring the trichomes for a nice milky color for harvesting.

Last week went well. She is still stretching some but stacking up bud now. Wonder how it's going to turn out. Didn't do much last week besides removed some fan leaves blocking buds and tucked some others. I adjusted some lst ties to open her up some and she is coming along. Lord have mercy on my plant 🙏 After finding some spider mites last week I have released predatory mites. Phytoseiulus persimilis. They came in a bag with leaves and you put those leaves on the canopy. Spray the room with spider mite insecticide. I found no more spider mites and no increase in damage. Until now the damage has been very minimal, compared to pictures I see online. Just a few white spots on a small number of affected leaves. Never saw any webbing, neither on leaves nor buds. Regardless I am treating it like a big infection Oh yeah, it's almost ready, I guess? All I can think about are little spiders. Thanks to everyone for watching, and your tips and advice.

Week 3 has ended for Ms Purple So far so good, she’s responding well to training. The side branches are as sturdy and as tall as the main branch I’m happy. This should equal to even light distribution on the canopy and more bud sites 🙂 I’m defoliating here and there to make sure the plant stays aerated. Let’s see how everything goes. Happy growing

All good flowering nicely , I needed to remove a lot of fan leaves from the top of the Gelato Sorbet they were yellowish and some kind of deficiency is there.

18/10 - Cumple 6 semanas en etapa de floracion. Su evolución fue muy rapida y los cocos se encuentran muy bien desarrollados. El banco recomienda dejarla en floracion de 8 a 9 semanas. Se encuentra muy resinosa con mucho olor. La parte principal parece un arbol. No tuve ningun problema en toda su etapa. Los nutrientes los tomo de forma perfecta, las chalas se encuentran verdes y perfectas. Solo en la parte baja estan un poco amarillas pero es normal por que la luz no llega. Just water again this week to help with the flush along with some light defoliation. The majority of the trichomes look mostly cloudy now and I’ve started to see a very small amount of them turn amber so all going well I will be turning the lights off for 48 hours some stage early next week. The buds have developed really well from the bottom up over the last couple of weeks and are stacking up nicely. The smell has also seriously increased this week. 😳

Mar 26 Fed a gallon of RAW GROW: about 15ml worth of nutrients. Continuing the LST. Mar 27 Going to have to look back into defoliation techniques here soon. She's like a forest under that canopy!
