Hello Diary, It's the end of the first week of vegetation on my little farm. I'm a little late in updating the diary, but I'll try to change that in the future. Vegetation officially starts when the plants get at least 4 leaves, in the case of White Widow it's the same as with her roommates. It's the same case for all three plants, 9 days from when I planted the seeds in the ground, or 5 days from when the plants sprouted. As you can see from the photos, White Widow is making great progress from day one. Although initially one leaf was trapped by the seed coat, which can be seen in the photos, one is more developed than the other. You can see a drastic difference every day, I put photos on the 1st day of vegetation and the 7th day of vegetation and the difference is obvious in those seven days. White Widow - Day 1. - 2.5 cm White Widow - Day 7. - 6 cm Conditions on the farm are not ideal. The summer heat is still unbearable, affecting the temperature in the apartment. When I add Migro Aray 4 to that, the temperature sometimes reaches 32 degrees. I don't see for now that it has a bad effect on the plants, but I would like it if the temperature were lower. The lights are now set at 35 cm from the plants and are dimmed at 40% of their power. The regime is 18/6 from the first day of vegetation. Watering is every three days. I prepare about 4 liters of water, add 1 ml/L Calcium and Magnesium supplement and this week I started adding Bio Grow Fertilizer, a new product from RQS. After all, I lower the pH to 6.0. and with that amount I water all three plants on the farm. Here's a quick recap of the week. 25/07/2024 - Day 1. The official start of the vegetation. After photographing the plants, I watered them. I still put the seed booster in there, also a new product from the RQS organic fertilizer collection. 28/07/2024 - Day 4. Watering. I prepared 4 liters of water again, added Calcium and magnesium supplement, Bio Grow Fertilizer and finally lowered the pH. with Lemon Kick. 31/07/2024 - Day 7. End of the first week of vegetation. It’s the eighth week of flowering, and the plant is looking absolutely gorgeous! The buds and leaves have turned a deep purple with rich autumn hues, giving the plant such a unique, almost magical appearance. The sweet smell has become even stronger and fills the whole grow space with a powerful, sugary aroma. 🍬🌿 I’ve noticed the trichomes starting to turn an amber color—just the sign I’ve been waiting for! Most of them are still milky, but the amber hints show we’re getting close. This week, I’ve started the flushing process to clear out any remaining nutrients and prepare for harvest. 💧 Everything’s on track, and I couldn’t be more excited for the final steps! 😁✨

We have 3 more in flower for another week or 2 as they are little behind schedule! There are 2 plants which I will be flushing next week as they have really packed out now. We got 1 straggler but looks like she's fattening up good! and will follow suit very soon! 😎 🌳Plant 1 Harvested and Drying now The size of this momma Runtz is mad! After loosing one of the main stems in early flower, she powered through and made 2 massive fat colas! Hardly ran into any problems with this plant other than loosing a main stem which turned out to be glorious in the end! 💥 She is now drying in the 3x3. I'm aiming for 10 days drying. Smell is absolutely unreal! I would normally do longer but as I have took most of the main fan leaves off I think it will be a bit quicker this harvest. 🌳Plant 2 Harvested and Drying now - Another whopper! super sticky colas all over it! I decided to leave a few more fan leaves on this one for now but may take more this week aiming for 10 days again! couldn't' be happier with the results, Hardly ran into any nutrient problems throughout. We had a few pale leaves early flower due to overwatering but she soon recovered and powered through! Smells like victory! Could not be happier with the Results so far! 2 down 3 to go! cant wait to get a weigh on them fat colas! I will take some more snaps over the next few weeks and show the dried and final trimmed bud of the 2 harvested and hopefully get them uploaded before the contest time expires. First time using the Green Sensation from Plagron! I will 100% be investing in some more or maybe win some lmao! I can see a dramatic difference in Weight and health of the Autos grown! THURSDAY 7/18: She really perked up in the sunshine with the boom boom spray and kelp dosing, so I put her outdoors again at first light today. I also re-planted her in the same cup, but I put about 2 centimeters of coarse perlite in the bottom along with another handful of soil. Her tiny lower branches are finally getting some light! I'll start training her a bit now, and I should be able to FIM her tomorrow or the next day. She's in direct scorching sunlight for 8 hours a day and about 8 inches below a 40w Sansi 4000k LED and a 75w LED panel (6500k/460nm 1:1 ratio) for 16 hours a day, I'll dial it back to 22-hour days at the first sign of flowering and swap out the blue/white panel for an all 660nm red panel(or two), and continue to gradually decrease her nighttime until harvest I've also got a little 20w spotlight with a Cree chip that's tuned to 3000k that I'll probably hammer her "massive" cola with as she starts to ripen up.😎 SUNDAY: She was looking a little bit haggard after yesterday...I think the sun is beating her up too badly. With such a tiny amount of soil, I think the roots are getting way too hot, even being in a cup within a cup wrapped with duct tape. Today, I'm leaving her indoors under the LEDs, but considering putting her cup inside another solo cup without any drainage holes, and setting that cup into pot of water with a fresh "blue ice" pack so as to keep the root temperature down...and replacing the blue ice pack every couple of hours while she's outdoors...or maybe I'll just take a pot and fill it with some of the orange-red clay that I find when I dig down a couple of feet..create a solo cup sized hole in it so that she has a surrounding layer of clay to keep her cooler during the day...not sure.. I foliar fed her and mixed about 4 grams of Bactrex into a jug with 3/4 gallon of bottled water and douched all my plants with about 2 pints each, except her...she got about 6 oz. of solution. That should really get the beneficial bacteria and fungus kicked into overdrive. I started brewing a 4 gallon batch of compost tea today. Since I don't have any Orgatrex, I am using a little Big Bloom, Kelp Me Kelp You, and Grow Big in the tea in addition to the PK Compost Booster tea from Bio Tabs. I'll add Mycotrex to it about 2 hours before it finishes and thoroughly dowse them all tomorrow morning. MONDAY: Today, after I FIM'd her, I decided to move her outdoors into a semi-shaded spot, with the rest of the girls during the day. To deal with the heat on her roots, I decided to just bury the larger solo cup (no drainage holes or soil in it) up to the rim in a 3 gallon pot full of soil. This will allow me to easily bring her indoors every (or every other) night to soak up more light in my cabinet. The plant's roots will never have any access to the other soil, but I'm hoping that if I keep that outer soil wet it will hold the root temperatures down in the soil inside the cup. If it turns out that her roots are so strong that they "break through" the plastic to get to the outer soil, I'll either remove the plastic and drop out of the contest, or just bring her indoors permanently.😁 She got some freshly brewed compost tea this morning along with a foliar feeding...a major pain in the ass to lug a 5-gallon pail down to the site...maybe I'll invest in a small solar panel and 12 volt battery and inverter so I can do the brewing on site...

9/20 Adjusted lights to 40% at 24 inches. It looks like I have a whorled phyllotaxy with the Sticky Mango. 3 branches per node. Should be cool to see how she develops. 9/22 Watered at 900 mS/cm 9/23 Dropped ir light on plants. Broke a fan leaf off the Moonberry Pie Auto. Removed other leaf to maintain light distribution and symmetry. Otherwise plants look great. 9/24 Added IR lighting. 10 before and after lights on and off. Hung at about 48 inches. 9/25 Topped Pink Apple Soda and Yuzu Sour above 4th node. Watered at 1.080 mS/cm pH 6.1. Watered to minimal runoff. Reduced RH to 62% 9/28 Increased lighting to 50%. Topped the Sticky Mango Auto. Was going to get to tall. The whorled phyllotaxy aspect of the plant is interesting. It is definitely growing faster than the others . It even has pistils already and a VERY dominant side branch. The plant I dropped the IR light on (Moonberry Pie Auto) definitely got stunted even though only 2 fan leaves had to be removed. The other topped plants (Yuzu Sour Auto and Pink Apple Soda Auto) look great. Starting to get bushy. Tucked the large fan leaves. Turtle Taffy Auto has been rather disappointing. If it doesn't show me something soon I may not waist the nutrients and get another Tastebudz Genetics seed going. Thriving in flowering tent 120x120cm [4x4 ft] 12/12 since yesterday (since it was almost full week still on veg I count it as last 8th week of vegetative phase) PPFD set around 600 µmol/s/m² - I want them to stretch somewhat in next few days so I can easily ScrOG them. Nets are already waiting on the side. You can clearly see difference between cultivars. Jelly Breath (left) are short and bushy and Sugar Canes are tall and lanky. Both strong and doing great 💪🌱

Flushing Week

Day 77, Harvested 3 Plants of 5 in total today as I thought they look perfect,will leave the Other two ones for some more days. I'm curious for the dry weight tbh. the drying Location has 51% RH and 22C° after 5-12 Days of drying I'll start Curing them in Glasses, I'll tell you about the smoke then!! Greetings fellow growers 🖖 and welcome to my first grow ever. This adventure actually started several months ago when I decided to stop buying flower from dispensaries and just grow my own bud. How hard can it be!? This is actually my second seed of this strain. The first bean sadly died due to over watering (sorry girl, RIP). I was literally watering the cube to the point where water was dripping from the bottom, then heavily sprayed the humidity dome and tray with the vents completely closed. Everyday. Multiple times. I never let the dome or try dry out. So after about 8 days of not sprouting, there was a funky smell of rot. So that was that. Later I learned that rockwool retains a lot of water and can easily drown seeds. So a wet/dry cycle is best for rockwool germination. So even after hours of researching and digging through forums and tutorial videos, I was still under prepared for this journey. Did not consider how delicate the germination phase is. Oh well. Lesson learned. Reset and try again! I hope everyone is safe and stoned during this corona crisis. Just like everyone else in the world, I want this pandemic to be over with. But in the meantime, let's grow some weed! 🖖 [START OF WEEK 01] Day 01 - Monday - 08/03/20 - Total Days: 001 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Light Schedule: 24Hrs/0 --- Soaked cube in 5.5 PH water for 10 min. Did not shake water out. --- NO NUTES! Only PH'd down to control the PH levels. --- Did not use the default hole (way too deep). --- Flipped cube upside down and made a shallow hole for the seed (less than 0.25" deep). --- Placed seed in and pinched hole close. No additional water added. --- Sprayed the tray and dome with straight water (5.5 PH). --- Vents are cracked opened a for ventilation (about 1/4 opened each). --- Distance between the light and tray was 53" --- AC was set to 80 °F --- Exhaust fan was set to 86 °F --- Room average temp was at 85 °F --- Dome humidity was at 85-99% when sprayed. --- Allowing to completely dry before respraying. - [2200]: Dome and tray were completely dry! Sprayed only tray and dome with more water. Day 02 - Tuesday - 08/04/20 - Total Days: 002 ----------------------------------- - [0845]: Sprayed dome and tray in the morning. Everything was dry. --- Hoping for the best! - [2130]: Everything was dry again, so sprayed dome and tray at night along with a light spray on the cube. Day 03 - Wednesday - 08/05/20 - Total Days: 003 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Everything was dry again. Resprayed dome and tray. Slightly sprayed cube. - [2125]: Hooo damn!! She popped! Am little stub is visible! Resprayed dome and tray again. --- Still going 24/0 for lights. - [+0033]: Just checked up on her and I swear she grew a bit taller! Getting excited! Day 04 - Thursday - 08/06/20 - Total Days: 004 ----------------------------------- - [0845]: Wow! Went from a little stub to fully sprouted overnight! Everything was pretty dry again so resprayed dome and tray. - [2200]: Tap root is visible! Over 1" long too! Just resprayed dome and tray again. -- Going to prep for hydroton transplant tomorrow! Day 05 - Friday - 08/07/20 - Total Days: 005 ----------------------------------- - [0930]: She keeps growing! -- Added a bit of CalMag to the spray bottle (8 drops to 650ml of distilled water). Resprayed dome and tray. Water was at a 5.4 PH with 141 PPM. - [1045]: Prepped the bubble bucket with 4.5gal of water. Water is high enough to reach about 0.25" above the bottom of the net pot. --- Added 3 drops of Superthrive --- Added 3.5ml of CaliMagic --- Added 2ml Hydroguard --- Then PH'd down to 5.6 --- Solution Strengh: 120 PPM --- Water chiller is set to 20 °C - [1100]: Transplant time! --- Filled the net basket 1/3 with hydroton. When placed in the bucket, air bubbles are not visible, but are slightly below the surface (slight digging will reveal the water/bubbles below). --- Removed plastic on rockwool cube and placed in basket, then filled around and covered with hydroton. Making sure to block any light from passing through the net pot and into the nutrient solution. --- Covered with a half-bottle dome sprayed with the CalMag water from earlier. --- Hoping for the best! - [1300]: Raised Bucket 5" higher. Now light distance is 48" to top of bucket. - [1820]: Lowered tent exhaust temp to 76 °F --- Lowered AC to 75 °F --- Raised bucket even higher so light distance is 30" to top of bucket. - [2300]: Looking good! --- Sprayed dome and surrounding hydroton with more CalMag water. --- Attached timer to light! So new 18 Hrs On/6 Hrs Off light schedule. --- Lights On: [1600] (4pm) --- Lights Off: [+1000] (10am the next day) --- Decided to go with lights on during the evening/night and off during the later mornings/afternoon (the hottest part of the day) to see if temps can be controlled better. --- Please survive girl! Day 06 - Saturday - 08/08/20 - Total Days: 006 ----------------------------------- - [0800]: Everything was dry. Resprayed hydroton and dome. - [2000]: Here first night cycle seemed to go well! Get'n taller! --- Dry again. Removed the dome. --- PH went up to 6.5 so PH'd down to 5.7 --- Ran the top feed drip ring for a bout a minute to wet the hydroton and rockwool with the nutient solution. ---Too scared to leave the top feed on 24hrs (I don't want over water her and cause dampening-off). Will let dry before re-watering. - [2100]: After closer inspection, I think she's looking a bit yellow. --- Decided to add a bit of grow nutes to the bubbler solution. --- Added 2ml of Sensi Grow A --- Added 2ml of Sensi Grow B --- Solution strength after adding more nutes: 176 PPM --- PH went up to 6 --- I hope that the extra chelating properties of the 'PH Perfect' solution is enough of a buffer for proper nutrient uptake. Day 07 - Sunday - 08/09/20 - Total Days: 007 ----------------------------------- - [0800]: Water dropped a bit (mostly due to evaporation) so solution strength was at 190. --- Checked PH again. Was still at 6, so PH'd down to 5.4 --- Ran the top feed for a minute to wet the hydroton a bit. - [0915]: Since she's looking perky but still a bit yellow. So decided to up the nutrient concentration even more before lights out. --- Added 2ml more of Sensi Grow A --- Added 2ml more of Sensi Grow B --- Solution strength after adding more nutes: 199 PPM --- PH went up to 5.8 - [1700]: Checked nutrients. --- PH: 5.9 --- Solution strength: 202 PPM --- Added 4ml of Voodoo Juice --- Added 4ml of B-52 --- PH after adding more nutes: 5.9 --- Solution strength after adding more nutes: 238 PPM - [2130]: Decided to make a new foliar spray to address the continued yellowing. --- Started with 500ml of distilled water. --- Added 3 drops of CaliMagic --- Added 3 drops of Sensi Grow A --- Added 3 drops of Sensi Grow B --- Added 3 drops of B-52 --- Added 1 drop of Superthrive --- Solution strength: 164 PPM --- PH was at 5.9 and did not adjust. --- Gave her one spray. --- Also sprayed the surrounding hydroton. [END OF WEEK 01]

9-15 Day 21 She had a hair showing when she woke! Top dressing others, so I got her too! Sprinkled HP connect on surface lightly! Sprinkled a little bit of craft blend, small amount of worm poo, TOPPED with Build-a-Flower. Around 1 inch across. Recovered with straw. Did not bloom boost her. Yucca 1/16tsp and humic 1/8tsp 6.5 liters water. Ph 6.0. My ecowitt is a little off on this pot. Caused me to over water the pot. Fed 355 ppm and just had a slight cup of water, I had to drain out. Oops. Shes short and poppin! 9-18 Day 24 Watered around 1000 ml. She probably coulda took 500 more. Removed very bottom leafs, were laying on the ground. Just did some fancy leaf tucking to expose the sites! She grows! 9-21 Gave 2k ml ph 6.4 Tea brewed 30ish hrs. Worm poo, recharge, kelp, yucca and 1 tsp build-a-bloom ,molasses. 3 gallons water. Adjusted lst, some defoliation. lower buds and blocking leaves, full on flower! Thanks!

01.07. Blue Sunset Sherbet Day 63# Well, like this... the situation is much better, the plant has completely recovered, even if it was the least affected, but it was, for sure. She started extracting a little nitrogen from the lower leaves, but no big deal, the last two waterings only received clean water, so it's not surprising, although she was a little hungrier from the beginning because I thought that in the country where there is more food, however, it turned out that there is less, and again I can't exaggerate because of the accumulation of salt, and it wouldn't make sense to suddenly increase the dose of food or the number of feedings, I could only cause a problem. Just slowly and gradually. I will leave those leaves until the next watering, because then I will feed her, and then I will remove them, so that she does not extract nitrogen from the next leaves. One thing that caught my eye is that the plant is quite thin and tall, so it might be a male, I wouldn't want to guess, but it's not impossible even if the seed is feminized. I'm very suspicious of everything, but maybe I'm just tripping, maybe it's only up to the pot, it's not wide and it's not a big volume, although I've had much wider and thicker plants in slightly bigger pots than this one and at this time, the stems on this one are a little thicker than inside. She got topped on day 17 I think🤔 💭😂the day after she's praying like never before, its day 21 now after being topped the new tips have been exposed and she hasn't skipped a beat, first time using these genetics and they seem OK up to now, time will tell. Peace 🏻
