Stretch starting

The cultivation was very easy and relaxed. I just watched the insanely fast growth and did LTS. 😄 But by my mistake, the plants received a small nutrient burn, at the moment when the plants were at the end of the peak of maturation. This did not do much damage to the plants, but after that the plants were watered with clean water and washed with FlashClean. The inflorescences are dense and have a large number of trichome crystals 👌

This week I decided to remove the LST and let her strech out as much as she wants. I lollipopped her on day 49 and cutted down all the branches that will never grow to the light. She has to strech as much as possible because there are some way taller plants under the same light. I hope she gonna produce some nice flower and will continue to strach abit. I used both a paper towel and shot glass to germinate.

I covered the basket with hydroton pebbles after this pic to prevent light leak into my reservoir. I also buried the rockwool to prevent algae growth. I rinse my clay pebbles with PH treated water to avoid reservoir contamination. The major structural issues is primarily due to the cold temperature of the water in my reservoir. It was hitting -30c temps outside. It took me a minute for it to set in that my reservoir temperature was the culprit. I had a water temperature regulator ordered; in the meantime, she kind suffers slow growth and wilting. DWC tip#2: If your water is cold, get a water warmer; Alternately, you will see if water is too hot, get a water chiller. Both extremes are really something you can’t ignore you should have a solution before germinating your seed.

The Gorilla Punch is still the smallest girl in the tent, but she’s really starting to show her potential this week.💪 She might not be big in size, but her structure looks great, healthy leaves, and a deep, dark green color that makes her stand out from the others.💚 She also got a light defoliation this week, just removing a few leaves that were covering lower budsites.🍃 Environment remains stable: Temp: 25–26 °C RH: 55–60 % PPFD: around 900–1000 µmol/m²/s under the Spider Farmer SE5000 Watering is on the same rhythm as the others, about 4 L every 3 days, RO water with CalMag as usual.💧 She’s small but healthy, compact, and starting to form some nice early flowers. Really curious how she’ll turn out, I have a feeling she’ll surprise me later on 😎✨

Day 36 preflower stage, should see buds forming within the next several days or so. WE ARE AT WAR!!!! Applied a pouch of nematodes to every pot to kill the fungus gnat at its larval stage. Which has been gnawing on my roots! Increased the sticky traps to trap the flying f*<|{£rs. Will reapply more nematodes in 10 days to kill the next generation. Then hopefully that’ll be all! Don’t overwater folks. Fungus gnats suck! Hopefully last hiccup of the grow. Cheers everyone. Good luck on your grows. Day 41 and I’d say we’re officially in flower. Seein those hairs real good now. We’re still experiencing a rather annoying fungus gnat infestation which has really stunted these ladies. This is entirely my own doing by more than likely overwatering them, creating the problem. Sighs… lower stems grew considerably, which has me optimistic as to the potential yield. I won’t know till stretch is over to gauge my yield. Hopefully Fastbuds amazing genetics can help me fix my f up. 🤞 Day 45 and were on our second round of treatment with nematode packs. I have moved the grow lights up substantially as to hopefully help with the discoloration of my leaves. I believe it to be light stress from the lightening around the edges and some brown tips. Some of them are curled upwards so thst could also be nutrient burn. I have asked a question about it to hopefully get the help of someone more experienced than iam. Good luck growing my friends🍻 Day 48 I ripped open my nematodes packs and mixed in the first couple inches. The top few inches of soil are now aerated better. Hopefully things will improve. Seem to look better since I moved the light up. Stretch ladies… stretch watering at 6.0 to hopefully lower the ph of my girls. I could do the viniger method? Or sulfur. Growing this particular plant was extremely eye opening to me and the future grows I will be doing. It's allowed me to get first hand experience with a different strain, a new substrate, different nutrients and different ways of growing! I learnt that my yields will be enhanced through the use of a larger pot regardless of the substrate, light or strain, but the pot size I have makes for a very nice little plant with big 4 large frosty colas enhanced by advanced grow techniques. Damn it. Just missed the 200g dry weight... I thank everyone who joined me on this grow and specially to all those that commented!

Harvested 2 of 8 plants today. 90% or more trichomes were white with a few amber here or there. All pistils brown on the 2. 2 more plants should be ready within 2 days. The others are still a week out.

She's definitely taking longer than expected, but i don't mind since the buds seem to still fatten up didn't have time to water again this week so she's a little dried up, I removed some fan leaves that were completely dry and brittle there's some beautiful purple coming through should be ready anytime soon now

Week 9 for Ztrawberry by greenhouseseedco, Shes finally coming back to life again with some proper colour to her... These greenhouse strains really are heavy feeders. Really wanting to get her healthy again before flipping to flower + some extra height.
