Hi meine lieben, 🤗 Die 2. Woche der Wachstums-Phase steht an... ...und die realität schlägt zu. Hatte versucht diesen Run mit einem höheren VPD-Wert und dadurch ohne zusätzliches CalMag hinzufügen zumüssen, laufen zulassen. Da laut einer Studie, man durch einen erhöhten VPD, kein zusätzliches CalMag unter LED's hinzugefügt werden müsste. Allerdings gieße ich noch mit Leitungswasser. Also hatte ich mir mal die werte meiner Stadtwerke angeschaut. Und in meinem Wasser habe ich Calcium = 78 mg/l und Magnesium = 5,3 mg/l und somit ein verhältnis von 14:1😰. Was von einer Optimalen versorgung von 2:1 - 4:1 CalMag etwas entfernt ist... 😅 Beste Lösung wäre ein Filtersystem wie der Watertrim zu nutzen. Nothing new here. Lots of defoliating to finish up the week. Also did a straight water flush to finish up as well.

Vegetationswoche 10 - 12.06. – 19.06.2026 Diese Woche lief alles wie gewohnt weiter. Ich habe die Triebe weiter unter dem Netz verteilt, hier und da etwas entlaubt und das Klee-Cover-Crop erneut gestutzt. Ansonsten gab es nichts Besonderes zu tun. Die Utopia Haze wächst weiterhin gesund und füllt die Fläche langsam immer weiter aus. Im Vergleich zu meinem letzten Grow mit der King Juice fällt mir allerdings auf, dass die Utopia etwas langsamer wächst. Die Triebe sind stärker verzweigt, etwas steifer und lassen sich nicht ganz so leicht über die Fläche ziehen. Dadurch dauert das Füllen des Netzes etwas länger als gewohnt. Ansonsten sieht die Pflanze weiterhin topfit aus und entwickelt sich genau in die Richtung, die ich mir vorgestellt habe. Jetzt heißt es weiter wachsen lassen und beobachten.

On the contrary, last week was problematic. It started with a reading of 3.22 mS (my input was 1.4 mS), which gave me a little kick. I flushed with pH 5.8 water for three waterings (until the reading was 0.9 mS) and then continued with FinalPart. Because the buds are collapsing under their own weight, I had to install support, so rotating the plant is impossible now. I have two additional fans running to protect from bud rot & humidity is at 50%. She looks like her time is nearing the end. Growers, eyes on the trichomes 👽

Woche 13 Die Pflanze ist für diese Zeit schon weit entwickelt, es wird voraussichtlich die letzte Woche in der dem Gießwasser noch Nährstoffe zugesetzt werden. Tag 87 Sie hat noch ordentlich Durst, die Blüten werden dicker und dicker evt. benötigt sie doch noch ein paar Tage länger zusatzlich etwas Dünger.

In general I'm very happy growing this strain. The germination rate was 100%, all 3 sprouted, even though one ended up dying after some weeks. My fault here, she grew upside down and when I moved her she didn't reacted well. The growing conditions were initially a little unstable as I couldn't find the right balance between temperature and RH, having the latter one constantly too low, making me buy an humidifier to keep the level higher. Well, too high in the lights off period, and when distracted could reach up to 99% RH, which isn't good. Again, lesson learned for the next grow. Maybe I've defoliated the plant a little too much and that might have also affected the crop a little. When it comes to feeding, didn't use so much plain water, the feeding were nutrient based all the time. Not sure if this had any negative effects in the plant. Was fun to train the plant and I could see actually some benefits in doing some LST in her. After all this, being able to finish with this amount of bud makes me generally happy and positive for the coming grows. Overall I think I made a few beginner mistakes that affected the plant growth and flower, but again, having no pests, plagues, or any diseases was already a very good accomplishment and I'm really looking forward to start the next grow, and enjoy the smoke from this little one. As it was the first diary ever, was very fun to do it, and helped a lot controlling crucial parts of the growth. Definitely will keep posting here my future grows. Plant starts off slower than others. But once she’s in flower and starts packing on resin and changing colors, everything changes. The plant reeks of funky terps and citrus and just stinky goodness. The colors are crazy ranging from pink to blue and purple. Highly recommend this strain and she produces super fat sticky buds. She’s a keeper.

Looking really good. Not super stocked on the structure of the buds themselves but can’t complain about anything else. Seeing lots of foxtailing in the GD and GG but not at all in the other two - which is interesting. My guess is that if I had thinned the plants much more aggressively I would be seeing more of the photogenic large colas that I was after. Next time!

I changed the light shedule to 12 h. Only 9 weeks from now on.

I am starting a Strawberry Amnesia from herbies seeds. I have scuffed the seed ends, and placed it in water. I will place the seed in the rockwool once it is showing a tail. So far so good, eager to have the auto flowers finish up so I can focus on the photo period. Both auto flowers are being fed full strength with big bud powder added as well. Trained the photoperiod with plenty of lst hoping to start flowering her in 2 weeks max
