Still perplexed with the tip burn but I don't think its a disaster, 2 more weeks until harvest or 3? no rush.

High GD community Week 16, Zuchinis all around, tomatoes getting ready on a daily. Cucumbers are getting almost mature proportions. Everything going well. Terra preta Location: center perma garden Surface: 125cm x 105cm Depth: 115cm The hole was dug out over 3 days, it were very sunny days. 😅 Theres mostly loamsand with a small sandloam bottom that was very hard. The sand was also very compressed and hard. The top layer is this grey dusty soil of about 40cm deep. At the bottom theres pure sand thats soft, easy drainable. First step is to fill up the entire bottom with fine chopped wood, progressively using bigger pieces of wood. I try to use some hardwood like oak to for its extra K (potassium = pot ash). A bit of charcoal to. This will take the entire first day, bcs it needs to have a minimal ticknes of pure ashes of around 5cm. Otherwise, after compressing it with the upcoming layers, the ash-line would almost disappear. Not all the wood needs to be burned entirely. Its a first layer with lots of N and K. Bones can be used to in the fire making the NPK complete. But it can be added also as a separated layer. I dont have that much bone material because my 2 dogs, or eating, or burry them somewere. Little warning at the end, be aware of your local laws applied to open fires. 😅😉 After a good burn ive got between 8 and 12cm of ashes in total over the entire surface. A small layer of soil (5cm) is put on top of that. Theres no need to harden out that layer, pressure will to the work and the layers will compress over time into ideal circumstances. On to the next layer!! Next is a layer of the compost, but the part that isnt allready decomposed. Its green/brown/yellow of color. And a bit of everything, grass, weeds, leafs and some thin branches. Another layer soil to cover that up. Now i formed a thin layer of chopped(10mm) wood(beech), just enough to make a thin,almost 1 piece high, layer. On to this i added a complete wheelbarrel of compost(black) with small pieces of still not completly decomposed materials. Lots of worms here. On that, you guessed it, an other layer of soil. I try to have both types of soil in that mix, the almost pure sand and the more grey type. Next, back to the beech. This time the rest of the bag follows. Theres a good layer of around 3cm deep. On this ive layed down some new small woodsticks to make a small fire again. Starting at the center and adding some last branches i found. It turned out really smoky!! Half way the burn ive opend the core of the fire, trying to spread the small pieces of char over the complete surface. After that, i added for the first time some water here. And an other layer of soil again, this is just covering up each time. Max 5cm!! Now we are at the upper half of the pit. Still 50cm to go. Now ive added some compost again, the green/brown/yellow one, with on top of that, a 15 liter bucket with compressed bokashi fermentated kitchen leftovers. Making a layer out of that and some fresh bokashi juice with 10 liters of water to drain those benificial bacteria into to compost layer just underneath it. This layer is almost 20cm tick. Again, yeah, soil, 5cm. Ive bought some blond peat to at to to toplayers. Last 25 to 30cm of soil, is a mix of the peat(20%) and the two other types of soil. First ill do tiny layers of each, last 10cm i try to mix it. And to finish the job, ive took some 100% reused and composed soil with some perlite in it from past use. I havent watered a lot, but the meteo predicts a good amount of water in the upcoming days. The soil that stayed and didnt get back to its original place, ive used to make a new top layer on the rest of the mini field. I havent used clay because it was hard to find or just to expensive. Beside the peat(250l), i didnt buy anything. So its labor intensive, but real cheap. 🌱 Grow Diary Update 🌸 What’s up! It’s Week 7, Day 1 of flower, and the girls are keeping me on my toes. 🌿 After getting the PPMs back in range last time, they’ve crept up again, so it’s flush time once more. 💧 I think letting the coco dry out too much between waterings might’ve been the culprit. Lesson learned—keeping a closer eye on that from now on! Besides that little hiccup, everything’s looking good. These buds are getting juicier and stinkier by the day, and there’s no serious nutrient burn, so we’re still in the clear. 🙌 Wish me luck as I ride out these last couple of weeks—hoping to finish strong! 🍀 Catch you in the next update! 💚

8/9/25 I'm not sure if she stalled a bit or what but she seems happy but not a whole lot seems to be changing with her. Added some dr earth 394 and threw in some dying leaves because I noticed some worms hatched from when I added the home made worm castings 8/14/25 she has really started to fill out this week. Applied some cal mag in the form of uprising foundation. And will continue to add microbe charge Still tweaking the auto water set up. Trying to keep it between soaked and only partially watered. Maybe it's the drip heads.

week intel: its time to harvest some of plants the ones that is mature enough. indica dominant plants will done first always so we should harvest them first because my base nutrients and one of boosters was salt based, i'll do flushing this week to get some relieve to plants in the last days stresses : flushing Drought stress via watering only one time with flushing this week feeding: day 1 : i flushed them with Advanced Nutrients Flawless finish and adjusted ph day 3 : no more feeding from now on day 5 : no more feeding from now on guide of the week : i harvest in 2 parts : first i harvest top of the branches and will let the lower buds to ripe another week then ill harvest the second wave. indica dominant plants will get done 1 or 2 weeks sooner than sativa dominant plants that will often takes more than 8 weeks so be aware to harvest them sooner. my dry and cure style is this: 3 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 3 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. im happy as hell with this harvest :D.

This plant has a solid stench of pure ripe lemons. So much aroma and color in every bud, purples, to dark green, to lime green, to solid frost. This one definitely a fun strain to watch grow and tend too for the last few months. She’s definitely a hungry girl, seemed to be the only strain out of the three that accepted and thrived with full feed nutrients. Would definitely recommend this Strain to someone For a nice uplifting day smoke, also seems to do me good for some pain and stress relief.

18.07 watering with 400ml - 400ml - 400 ml Blueberry got only water Trainwreck got Bloom, Top-max and Fish-Mix All the others got only Top-Max and Bloom. Search everyday for some spidermites or something else. On some days I find a few on blueberry and Biscotti. I remove the manually. 21.07 watering with 400 - 400 - 400 water. Again: blueberry only water All the others Top-Max and Bloom Trainerwechsel started to flower. The leaves of Blueberry and Biscotti started to get yellow. Also removed some leaves with were down in the shadow of the top strains of frosted guava.

The four Bubblicious Autos have maxed the tent at 1.14 meters high this week, buds are slowly developing, I have taken out the Biogrow and concentrated on the Bloom and Top Max + added some CalMag. Surprisingly the late starter, the smallest runt at the start of the grow in a narrower 10ltr pot is taller than the ones in the larger wider 16ltr pots . Keeping the feed lite on these sensitive autos, adding 4ml of each flowering nutrient into an 8ltr filled bucket, 2ltrs for each plant every 3 days seems to be adequate. I dont want to over feed or over water, this is the right balance so far.

The girls are hardening up and glazing over with tricombs its looking like all of nine weeks mabe ten before ripe for smoking since she stretched 2 weeks longer than ever before with this strain .finally forming some really nice nugs starting to stink a little has a flower garden sweetness that stinks so good.cant wait yum yum. Found some male parts in popcorn below canopy I got rid of everything below the canopy to keep her female only new pics are 8 weeks and 5 days in flower stil needs to rippen its in full Bloom now so im flushing till she is ready next week or so

Went to harvest them in the midst of night with a friend. Not as much mold as I was expecting considering how dense the vegetation was surrounding the spot. Lost less that 5% to mold which is good.

Day 15-defoliated her probably for the last time after a few weeks of growth, she was very bushy. Added another fan to get more air moving as well. Also, I decided to try out the AN Sensi Bloom set. I didn’t mean to get the coco version but a little extra cal-mag won’t hurt in this case, I only fed at 75% strength and added big Bud powder at 0.5 grams/liter. I’m hoping her stretch finishes soon or I’ll run out of space, although she’s starting to really stack.
