Bien pues el domingo 15/05/22 hice defoliacion con 66 dias desde la germi. Hoy lunes por la noche, las pongo ya a 12/12 y que empiecen a florecer. Considero que estan robustas y fuertes para la etapa de flora. Me lie con stories y videos y se me paso hace fotos detelladas para aqui... lo siento, os dejo las stories y fotos de esta mañana Creo que vamos a ver buenas cosas aqui :D Son 10 Tropicanna cookies con 48 dias desde la germinacion y 5 MAC, 4 Bannana wafflez y 1 Apple friter con 67 dias desde la germi. Day 22: Well we made it to the beginning of week 4! Who would of thunk! So we are starting week 4 on a good foot. No issues at this time and growing really well. Still such a squat plant. The nodes spacing is only like a half inch apart. WTH 🤷‍♂️🏻 Other than that the PH in my reservoir is dropping, usually it rises a bit everyday. I will have to remedy that before my midday feeding. I mean it was at 5.85-5.9PH so not out of whack but I was hoping for a drift of 5.9-61ish before I had to do a top off or change of the solution. Did some more light LST and leaf tucking last night before bed and will probably have to do more this afternoon. Day 23: River and Clara are growing really fast now. However I did notice the darkening of some of the new growth tips and a potential N burn. I believe this to be from a faulty PH tester I bought from nutetools dot com. Junk! So back to my old cheap meter. I will have to empty and clean out my reservoir today and make some more sauce for my plants so that I know it is PH’d correctly. What a pain in the ass. I am going to have a chat with them this afternoon for perhaps a replacement. Other than that onward and upward. Day 24: Not a whole lot to say today. Filled the reservoir yesterday. Sat and tried to figure out how to LST these super squat plants. I am thinking a couple haircuts are in order today. I think this will be beneficial to the little bud site that are partiallly blocked, but also for me to see what the structure looks like to get a better idea what I am working with 🤪 I am also thinking of upping my watering schedule to 4 times a day during lights on. I feel they are starting to drink a lot more and are probably just about to go into flowering mode. Day 24 Update: So I took the plunge and did some major defoliation and retied up all the LST work I did previously. They look so pissed off at me now… lmao. 🤬 You can see the before pics in my previous post from this morning. Also posting pics of how tiny my node spacing is.. Day 25 06/25/2021 - Today should be pretty hands off. Just letting them do their thing after the harsh treatment they got from me yesterday. (Defoliation and LST). I’m assuming they will need a couple days to recover, but, I will say they do look a bit less pissed off today than yesterday. Still no signs of sex. the tops are a nice bright green and the leaves are starting to deform like it really wants to flower. Hopefully, I didn’t screw it up by defoliating. The wait for flower continues. Day 26: These plants have bounced back awesomely after my heavy handed defoliation and LST. Putting on an inch a day and growing faster by the minute. They must have loved my nutrient ratio last feeding. I am going to do the same mix again today to refill the reservoir. Speaking of reservoir and watering… I think I am watering a bit munch per feeding as I am going through 5-6 gallons every 2-3 days for two plants. So I think today I am going to finally go to a 4 feed per day schedule and drop the time from 1min 10secs to 50secs or so. They should realistically only be getting a gallon a day a piece and still get good runoff to avoid any salt buildup. Have a 4inch and 6inch stretch a scrog nets ordered as well. Other than all that I think this first grow is going great so far! Day 27: Another day of mostly hands off and just watching the stretch. If my scrog nets come today I will hang the first one and that is about it today. Last night however, I did find a few pistils on Clara the smaller of the two and the no longer late bloomer. I also got my new Milwaukee MW804 4in1 ph/ec/tds/temp pen. Excited to have a reliable testing tool. One more grow day in the books! Cheers! Day 28: Well last day of week four. I was really hoping it would have started flowering by now, but we will hope for week 5. I got my scrog nets late yesterday afternoon and I put the first 4” net up. As you can probably see by the pics I really have no clue what I am doing. Also these plants are so so squat and compact I almost wish I had a 2” net. But, I think they are in stretch mode so we will see how that might effect my ability to a rig these a bit better. My plans for today are to do a quick clean and rinse of the reservoir and refill with a new batch of mutes I mixed up in the middle of the night last night. Then just let them grow I suppose. Not much else for me to do. 🤷‍♂️🏻Now on to week 5 tomorrow and continue to have a good grow. Cheers! 🥃

😍 Beauty. Empty water with NPK raw enzymes, amino and humic/fulvic. Checking the EC of the pot, ranges vary but overall sitting around d 1.2-1.6ms/cm. I can notice tips on one, ever so slightly yellow, hints that ec is on the line. See how long she can go with just water. So far, so good. They are at that size when the growth snowball really starts to pick up. Upped ppfd, first sign of flower showing on 1 plant. Applied a fair bit of IR, which has stretched the stems; they know if they want to reach the high ppfd they need for flower, then they need to stretch accordingly. All you can eat buffet made to order. Plant perception allows plants to sense the direction, intensity, quality, and duration of light, using this information to direct growth, optimize photosynthesis, and adjust development. This ability to "see" light and respond accordingly is a fundamental survival mechanism. The interaction between microorganisms and the plant rhizosphere creates an active environment that directly contributes to soil electrical conductivity (EC), facilitating nutrient availability and, consequently, enabling better plant growth. A healthy, microbially active rhizosphere acts as a living, conductive bridge that converts locked-up resources into bioavailable, charged particles (ions) that the plant can directly use to grow. Microbes break down organic matter and minerals, releasing ions (N, P, K, etc.) slowly and in alignment with plant needs. Unlike synthetic fertilizers that dump a high concentration of salts at once (causing instant, great EC osmotic shock), microbial processes provide a steadier stream of nutrients. Beneficial microbes produce osmolytes, antioxidants, and signaling molecules (like auxins and ACC deaminase) that help plants manage drought, salt, and temperature stress. Microbial exopolysaccharides (EPS) create hydrated biofilms around roots, maintaining a more stable water environment. If an excessive amount of soluble nutrients or salts is added (e.g., heavy compost, manure, or excessive mineral amendments), the total dissolved solids can still exceed the plant's tolerance threshold. Intense evaporation, drought, or extreme heat can concentrate salts in the soil solution regardless of how active the microbes are. (Balance). The ability of microbes to buffer the soil is finite. If the input exceeds the biological processing speed, osmotic stress can occur. This is where high CEC comes in useful. Because of this active exchange, the plant creates a localized chemistry that favors what it needs: If the plant needs calcium, it increases exudates that favor calcium solubilization and exchange. The plant can alter the pH immediately around the roots to make specific nutrients more available while locking up others. It doesn't need. The high CEC acts as a buffer against over-fertilization or pH swings. Instead of nutrient antagonism (where too much of one thing blocks another), the microbial activity helps balance nutrient availability. In a high-CEC organic system, the plant acts as a manager, utilizing microbes and root chemistry to pull exactly what it needs from the "bank" of soil nutrients. Nature knows best. I let her feed herself now. If a leaf is photosynthesizing, it makes ATP (via light reactions) and sugars. If a root is respiring, it burns sugars to make ATP for itself. They do not share a common, transferable "pool." While you don't get a "bigger ATP pool" by adding root ATP to leaf ATP, growing organically allows for better energy allocation. In organic systems, mycorrhizal fungi and bacteria break down nutrients. This requires less direct energy expenditure from the plant to seek out raw minerals compared to hydroponics/synthetic, where the plant might have to push harder roots to find uptake points. Healthy, microbe-rich roots need less energy for defense and can focus on absorption. Plants send sugars (made in leaves) down to roots to feed microbes, which in turn bring back nutrients/salt ions to create a EC of 0.5ms/cm. This symbiotic loop means the plant spends less energy on acquiring nutrients, leaving more energy available for building biomass. Leaves make Glucose (Sugar) via Photosynthesis. Sugars travel to the roots. Roots use that sugar to fuel respiration to gain nutrients. Nutrients travel back up to fuel more Leaf growth. Organic growing doesn't create a larger combined ATP pool; it creates more efficient energy usage and resource allocation. Because the plant isn't wasting energy fighting for nutrients or managing osmotic stress from synthetic salts, it has more metabolic energy left over to put into growth. High Transpiration Rate. Stronger Mass Flow. More water/nutrients to roots. Increased uptake. It is a "pull" system that acts as the primary conveyor belt for plant nutrition.

10/06/2021 Harvesting #2 and #1 to prevent more loss to mould. #3 will tackle in morning. #2 hardest hit. #1 not much #3 less. Mould Weight will be added later as I have lost my scale in moving. On to curing for 3-4 weeks and I will update the smoke report

Stretch is done and flowers are piling on now! I treated with lost coast as a preventative. I kept the feed the same but it will be altered end of grow week. Canopy is getting hella full can't wait to watch these colas stack on. Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

Que pasa familia, vamos con la quinta semana de floración de estás Zkittelz de Seeds Mafia. La humedad está entorno al 50%, y la temperatura la tengo entre los 22/24 grados. Controlamos en ph en cada riego a 6.2. Y el agua que utilizo de riego suele estar estancada entre 24 / 36 horas, hasta aquí todo bien, tienen un buen color, ya van progresando y floreciendo a buen ritmo, vemos cómo avanzan estas semanas y como avanza el progreso de las flores. Las 2 más pequeñas, se adelantan y empiezan a madurar antes que las demás, ya tienen algún pelillo marrón, y sueltan una cantidad de resina increíble. Las más grandes y con cogollos más gordos, empiezan a doblarse, así que voy atando las que no aguantan el peso

All is well, did a bit of defoliation, felt like I over done it but they came back stronger. Lime green early flower stretch going on. 🤗 Really enjoy growing. So rewarding.

420Fastbuds-Week 6 Gelato Auto What up grow fam. Weekly update on these 3 beautiful 😍 ladies. They got moved over to the flower tent this week. Temperatures have gone up tremendously since it seems summer weather has finally got here. Over all they seem to be handling it, OK. Showing some heat stress but I think it's just an adjustment period. I'll most likely do a defoliation this week thinning it out to allow more air flow. All in all Happy Growing
