This week was EVENTFUL! I topped her the first time and applied LST after some days of recoveery. I still gave her just pH adjusted tapwater.

Week Harvest My journey of Runtz Automatic and her entrance in the Eternity Grow Cup 2025 began on January 7 when she popped her head above the soil. Runtz was an easy carefree plant to grow with no incidents of pests or disease. A few defoliations were all that was necessary to keep her in check. I kept her under a light schedule of 18/6 to maximize her light exposure. After topping her she grew only 24 inches tall. This small plant structure is suitable for growers with limited space. She was harvested on March 20, day 74 from germination. As part of the flushing process, I topped the pot with ice, then watered with ph 6.5-6.7 water for 3 days. Then I put Runtz Auto in the dark for 2 days still in her pot. March 20, she got the chop, Wet weight 314g and is hanging dry in a darkened room. As she dries, candy, sweet, fruity smells escape the room. Temps are 71-72and 43-48% humidity. I am sure she is as tasty as she smells and will not disappoint in effects. My sincere thanks to Patricia @Zamnesia for her support and encouragement throughout this grow. Big thanks and sincere appreciation to Plagron and Zamnesia for hosting this fun and exciting contest. Everyone entering the contest started with the same strain in either a feminized auto or photoperiod seed. Zamnesia generously provided 5 seeds to everyone and Plagron provided the Green Sensation flowering additive. During this contest I enjoyed visiting many contestants’ diaries and seeing beautiful gardens. Many, like me, are limited in space or number of plants they can grow but all are displaying fine specimens. Some Runtz phenotypes are very sativa dominant, with long thin leaf fingers, while others lean more indica. What will be most interesting will be the smoke reports on effects. My theory is that the more sativa leaning in structure, the more active, energetic and euphoric that plant will be and the indica leaning specimens will be more relaxing and uplifting. This girl is an exuberant plant! Super strong even on these hot days she stayed in shape without having fox-tails, also due to the quality of this HLG light which as always amazes me a lot. Still drying out… soon new updates with photos and infos on weight and smoke reports. Cheers cannafam ☮️💚

Week 3 Veg Nothing has changed this week nutrient wise. All of the Surf Purp siblings are looking very happy and healthy. I usually try to have them transplanted into their next pot around day 20, but seeing as their next pot will be their final pot I'll leave them a little longer. Even though I'll be using fabric pots I don't want them to get too root bound too soon before flower. Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺

Just been playing about with a DIY co2 generator with sugar water and yeast considering paying out for a better system and meter but at least I can still monitor to a degree but I don't think this co2 meter is up to much cop...... I've made a co2 bucket with an air pump still using sugar yeast 2x tomatoes and a potatoe puree'd 1x teaspoon active brewers yeast and 2.5 liters of water in a 5l bucket with sealed lid ratchet strapped shut sat on a 20cm square heat mat set on a thermostat at 24c to 27c temps sits about 26c for a prolonged co2 release levels have defo increased spiked quite high then settled approx 1200 to 1500ppm or the meter is wank but either way its adding co2 just for how long though ? I've read up on the fungus method which last 6months so I'll be sorting that soon

Just a beautiful east growing plant. Added supplemental lighting due to the large canopies. I take a very hands off approach, let the gentics and the plant do it their way. Looks like it will live up to its name, so many buds on this girl.

79 days!!!!! and the harvest is already harvested :) The whole growth until week 6 went very well, then the girl got a little worse, (I think it's my mistake, which I described in previous weeks), but besides all that she managed to ripen perfectly, matured stiff flowers, full of shiny sticky trichomes with a very, very sweet aroma ;) 210 gr of wet buds, I also collected a lot of sugar leaves from which I will make bubble hash :) I can't wait to taste it :) this is my first trip with Sweetseeds Looking at the flowers I understand that I will definitely repeat it :) I will leave more feedback after the smoke review:) good luck to everyone.

This is chopping week. Im starting to see more amber trichomes so I know they are right there. I will most likely chop tomorrow morning. These plants are absolutely beautiful. Truly showed their fall colors and the potent aroma they both are putting out. So excited to get these dried and cured so I can finally test them out and give you guys a smoke report. Hi together! Since last Week there is really no Big difference, #5 is developing better than I thought, and the other two plants are just preparing for harvest. There is no Big increase in amber trichomes on Both plants, I dont know the Reason behind that. I Plan to harvest them no matter what until sunday - 100 days is enough Time to wait :P Since I have watered them without nutrients for 1 1/2 week, I will stop Water them the Next days and will let them dry out. Well it's finally time to cut her down. It's day 95 post germination for this lady, and she's at maximum potency. All trichomes are cloudy with about 5-10% amber & she's giving out a mixed palet of aromas. I can smell a very distinct mix of lemon, urea, skunk, and spice. It was relatively easy plant to grow. I started in a super soul which ran out of nutrients early and I had to supplement with bottled nutrients. Going forward I'm going to have to put more thought into my initial soil composition. Please note: I'm only estimating the 'Wet Bud Weight'; for the purposes of this diary I estimated 12-16 ounces. Cannabis can loose up to 75% of its mass during the drying phase and based on past experience, I am expecting 4-6 ounces of finished flower. Dry/cure process: 1. Cut entire plant down by main stock 2 hang upside down in a dark room with controlled humidty and temps.... - Temperature should range from 67-72 °F, and my humidity will range between 57-60%. 3. Full trim complete after 8-11 days of drying. 4. Stick in Mason jars indefinitely with 2-way Boveda humidty packs (62%). 4-20.
