Vegetation Week 15: Pre-Flower Calm & Steady Ascent Update: 26.06.2025 | Day 111 Hey Growmies, Week 15 is smooth sailing – no drama, just steady growth and pre-flower whispers. Quick update: Plant Progress Durban Poison: - Explosive height gain – bushiest plant in the garden by far. - First pistils appeared → easing into pre-flower. - Starting to emit a distinct, pleasant scent. Blueberry: - Healthy and compact – deep green, no flaws. - Early pre-flower signs visible (little slower than Durban). Pest Check on both: None. Clean foliage on both. Garden Context - Shared outdoor space with an elderly neighbor downstairs. - Earlier gifted her a FastBuds autoflower (growing separately). - Note: The ladies aroma will spread soon a pleasant smell in my hole garden area. Feeding Routine - Weekly Bokashi juice (1:100) as long as i sign no serious sign of any deficincies. Next Steps - Observe pre-flower transition. - Do hoefully nothing and watch rthem ladies grow. Colors of fall are filling the tent along with some lovely smells. Black Cherry 1 smells of sour candy and gas. The sour candy is up front and then followed by a funky gas. Black Cherry 2 smells of wild cherry medicine with a hint of wood. There's a strong wild cherry smell with a faint little bit of medicine all mixed with a small woodsy smell in the background. Tahitian Vanilla 1 smells of an elves' bakery tucked deep in the woods. Creamy, doughy, bakery goods and Cashmere blast for this plant. Tahitian Vanilla 2 smells of pine dumped in cream. Heavy pine smell upfront then a sweet warm creaminess comes into focus but the pine tar never leaves

Plenty growth shown on most plants, unfortunately we lost 3 to slugs ate every node on the plants so they been pulled. Will put some autos in replace of them. Topped a few this week to try get them bushed out. Had a good feed of grow, hopefully this slug pellets will keep them at bay and they will be stress free. That’s all this week! Happy growing🌱

OK so update on this fantastic fast buds strawberry pie grown under the brittish company skyline leds There skyline 1000 mk1 Using house and garden nutrients in soil at a light cycle of 20/4 This seed was simply explosive from the very slick fast buds packaging too the Soil, Flowered around week 5 or 5, And from the very first week was covered in thick frosting, These two strawberry pies where like a powertrain from then on out packing on weight and frosting giving of a very skunky sweet gas smell that took over the whole enclosed area, These where alittle sensitive too light intensity in the early stages so I recommend giving them a good supplemental light for the first 2 weeks before introducing them too there flower light, They really do like too sulk if given too much light in the first 2 weeks, But other than that no issues too report, OK so now for the important part, This frostie delight once dried and only had a very short cure so far, But I do not sell anything I produce so they can cure for 12 months if its not smoked before, But its a very sweet skunk smell with hints of fruit, And the smoke is also very clean creamy friuty ice cream in fact its so smooth and creamy that even using my large chongz glass bong most of the time is very pleasant and easy on the lungs that even a novice smoker wouldn't cough, The terpins on this girl is special and as soon as you spark your lighter your mouth comes too life with this experience that is fast buds strawberry pie, The effect is instant and intense, But the intensity is not unpleasant and is NOT one that will make you feel paranoid, I am a medical grower and coming from me that's saying Alot, The high is insane, You breath out that terpin rich smoke and almost instantly This feeling of well-being and a happy vibe sweeps over you, And you can expect too zone out for a good 40 mins staring Into space without blinking, Feeling like your whole mind body & soul has been felt too marinade in pure xtc, I highly recommend this strain too anyone, And by far one of the nicest autos I've ever experienced,

My dear friends at RQS sent me this new hybrid seed at the beginning of the year and I'm really looking forward to seeing the result. Let's see what they say about this new strain. Medusa is a true F1 hybrid created from pure, inbred cannabis lines. She boasts uniform growth traits, mouthwatering aromas and flavors, and plenty of potency. Combining genetics from inbred lines deriving from Sugar Magnolia, a thick and sweet indica, and American Beauty, a fast, fruity hybrid loved for its well-balanced, positive high, the result is an autoflowering F1 variety that produces fresh flavors, a unique cannabinoid profile, and large yields. Medusa F1 seeds produce elongated autoflowering plants with long, strong branches and well-spaced internodes. Plants regularly grow up to 80–85 cm tall and boast a fast flowering time of just 42–45 days (72 days from germination to harvest). Thanks to her genetics, Medusa F1 produces plenty of thick flowers with big, swollen calyxes that make for very easy trimming. I prepare everything I need for planting in advance. I fill the AirPot to a little more than half and add 50g of Easy Boost Organic nutrition in pellets and mix with the soil, then add more Easy Roots Rhizobacter and Easy Roots - Mycorrhiza mix and fill the pot to the top with soil. After that, I soak the soil well with water, make a hole in the middle and carefully insert the seed into the hole with gloves and cover it. After doing this with all three pots, I placed them in the grow box and waited for them to sprout. The lights are 35 cm away from the pots. The humidity is not high, but as soon as the plants sprout, I will put in a humidifier. 14/01/2023 I moistened the soil a little with water. I need to keep the soil moist. 16/01/2023 The first plant has sprouted. We are still waiting for the other two. 17/01/2023 The second plant has sprouted, but I'm still waiting for the third. 18/01/2023 Unfortunately, the third plant did not sprout, so this time there will be only two plants on the "Farm". 21/01/2023 First joint watering. Day 90. Chop time

Week 6 flower, half way there! Buds are starting to fill in now and getting some decent frost. A couple of tops are getting more light than others, and fattening a bit more and looking real nice. It looks like there is some purple starting to come out at the tops. Also spotted some discolouration on a few leaves closest to the light, so I turned the one light down to 60-75%, no need to push it at this point and burn her up! She will go as fast as the soil and environmental conditions will allow her to. Hand watered in Gaia Green Soluble Seaweed Extract 0-0-17, otherwise water drip is running on same schedule. Just using straight tap water that sits in a 30 gallon reservoir with a submergible water pump running 24/7 breaking surface and aerating water. Water comes out the tap @ 7ph and less than 15ppm. So I don’t do nothing to it, I drink it:) Thanks for the view 🤜 Have a great week!

Just growing through the net now, slight defoliation only when needed, cleaned out some low hanging leaves underneath and a few hopeless bud sites under the canopy. I feel like I could probably defoliate a bit more but not gonna push my first plant, just doing as much tucking as I can to help out. Its adding an inch plus everyday of height now and I am not sure how tall she is going to stretch, Im running out of room above the lights so from here on nearly every inch of stretch will be closing that gap. 18” now will be keeping a close eye and hopefully will not have to dim my lights. Currently running 200w @ 100% veg tuned.

Holds between 55-65%. 1-23 Moved to big tent temps everything's normal now. 1-24 Loves her forever home, not pot. Getting 250-260 ppfd. The green mykos is showing on the dirt. Welcome to week 7 growmies! She’s doing great in her second week of flowering! She is still stretching and got a bigger defoliation at the end of week 6. For the start she’s getting only ph regulated water from top and some nutrients from bottom. There a little signs on the leaf tip why I skip nutrients for one watering cycle. On mid of week 7 she’s still stretching and first orange pistils shown up. On weekend she’s getting another defloration and another round of nutrients.

🌸 Week 5 Flower – RollerCoaster Haze 🌸 The RollerCoaster Haze girls are thriving in mid-flower, building structure and stacking buds at an incredible pace. Both phenos are stretching into the canopy with strength, white pistils everywhere, and flower sites developing beautifully. The plants are balanced, vibrant, and showing no signs of stress, just healthy, determined growth. 💧 Nutrition & Feeding This week we’ve adjusted the recipe, stopping the All-in-One Liquid completely as the soil and pellets still provide plenty of slow-release nutrition. The focus now is on a lean, targeted bloom feed, keeping the roots active without oversaturating. Current recipe (all at 1ml/L): • Aptus Regulator • Aptus CalMag Boost • Plagron Green Sensation • Plagron Sugar Royal • Plagron Power Buds Solution runs steady at pH 6.0–6.1 with EC balanced to complement the soil’s reserves. The results speak for themselves: stalks, roots, and leaves are thriving, and the flowers are coming on strong. Environment • Soil Temp: ~24°C • Room Temp: ~28–29°C • Humidity: ~65% • VPD: ~1.3–1.4 kPa Airflow, extraction, and monitoring keep the conditions stable. Despite the size of these girls, they’re handling the environment perfectly. 💡 Inner Canopy Lighting – ICL300 This week I want to highlight the role of the ICL300 inner canopy lights. These lights are designed to deliver light where traditional overhead fixtures can’t: deep inside the canopy. Why does this matter? • As plants stretch and leaves overlap, the lower branches and bud sites often receive far less light. Without supplemental lighting, these inner flowers stay smaller, less dense, and less developed. • Inner canopy lights like the ICL300 solve this by pushing photons directly into those shaded areas, ensuring the lower and middle buds get the energy they need to bulk up. Spectrum: The ICL300 units provide a balanced white spectrum with a red push, tailored to maximize flowering response while avoiding heat stress. This means not only are the tops getting stacked, the inner and lower flowers are also swelling, making for a more even, consistent harvest. The difference is visible already: the RollerCoaster Haze girls aren’t just top-heavy. The mid-canopy sites are developing beautifully, with structure filling out in layers instead of just one dominant top. 🌼 Pistils: White Hairs Everywhere At Week 5, pistils (the fine white hairs that emerge from each calyx) are one of the clearest signs of flower development. They serve two major purposes: • Reproduction: pistils are part of the female flower’s reproductive system, designed to catch pollen if it’s present. • Growth indicator: the color, abundance, and orientation of pistils give us a direct look into the maturity of the flower. Some genetics push out bright white pistils, while others lean slightly toward cream, yellowish, or even orange tones earlier in bloom. This variation is completely normal and tied to the plant’s lineage. At this stage, the RollerCoaster Haze girls are full of vigorous white pistils, standing tall and reaching outwards. This shows they are actively building flowers and pushing energy into new calyx formation. It’s also a reminder that this week is about observation: watching how the pistils evolve will tell us not only about maturity, but also about how each pheno expresses itself. Later on, pistils will darken and curl inward as the calyxes swell, but right now, their abundance and brightness are a clear signal of healthy, strong flowering. 🌱 Observations • Bud sites are stacking with strong pistil production. • Inner canopy looks healthy and productive thanks to the ICL300. • Plants remain lush, green, and full of energy. • Root systems are still vigorous, visible at the soil surface. ✨ Reflection Week 5 Flower shows how balance in nutrition, environment, and lighting can work together to create truly explosive growth.
