Day 85: First Grow We’re entering a new week, and it’s exciting to see the progress in our first grow. The plants are thriving, and the buds continue to get thicker and frostier. The formation of orange hairs is becoming more pronounced, indicating that we're on the right track. This week, we’ve decided to order a microscope to monitor trichome development more closely. Additionally, we're considering adding CANNAZYM to our feeding regimen to support bud growth and overall plant health. Let’s keep pushing forward and make this a successful grow!

This week has been good both plants are growing great with no problems in there transition to flower they jus started to stretch so I hung the 600 watt lamp at 24 in and will lower it as they flower but a very productive week so far. Gonna add nutes at the end of this week so they will have some nutes to fall back on when bud sites appear

After the harvest I did a bud wash with hydrogen peroxide. I wanted to make sure that the plant is clean. For this; I needed to cut the branches down because no bucket is big enough to bud wash a whole plant. This makes the drying time faster since smaller branches dry more quickly because of less water retention. She dryed for about a week.

This plant is thriving in its 3rd week of vegetation—it’s growing very healthy and strong!🌱 I’ve applied some Light Stress Training (LST) to ensure all parts of the plant are receiving equal light exposure, and it’s responding beautifully. Midway through the week, I noticed the first signs of flowering! This plant is transitioning into bloom faster than expected, which is really exciting. It seems eager to show what it’s capable of. Now, I’m looking forward to seeing how it handles the stretch phase—I can’t wait to watch it shoot up and develop further.😊

For germination I like to soak my seed in a glass of water for 24hrs. Then I move it to a slightly moist paper towel and place it in a sealed container placed on a heat mat or warm surface for 24hrs. I'm using KIS ORGANICS Biochar Soil blend which is water only. I'll topdress with worm castings and the KIS Organics Nutrient Pack. I also have some Build a Soil craft blend and build a flower so I may switch that up when the time come. I'll update on what I decide regardless. ✌️🏼

It's been a pretty good week. I did quite a big defoliation, as things were getting crowded. The girls are having a very strong diesel smel! I switched to a more flowering dominant feeding, I decreased the Nitrogen and pumped up the phosphorus and potassium. I will soon do a flush, as it looks like the nuts are starting to accumulate at the roots.

10/7 - Watered today. Plants are looking great. I used less CalMag this time, I don't think the extra N from the 2-0-0 CalMag is needed as much, we'll see how they respond! I also used 10oz of Real Growers Recharge that was aerated for about 12 hours on each plant after watering. Haven't had to do much defoliation and I think I did an "almost perfect" amount. There are still plenty of fan leaves, but every single "top" bud site is not blocked! 10/8 - Not too much to update. Everything is looking great. Daytime RH has been between 50-60%, which is good for now. I did end up picking up a nice portable AC unit to help with keeping temps at 60 during the drying phase. I also bought some Grove Bags for curing, and a heat sealer to make sure I do it right! Still need to get trim bins and some more trimming equipment. I plan on doing a full plant hang to dry, with 60/60 Rh/Temp. This is probably still 4-5 weeks away, but I'm excited!

Original Sensible seeds GIRL SCOUT COOKIES 8th Week Of Veg December 30th 2019 Firstly ignore the white residue on the leaves as it's only Diatomaceous Earth that I mixed in with the Worm casting and Mollasses tea that I brewed up and sprayed on all my Plants. I did it after dark to alleviate any stress from sunshine or heat. The Diatomaceous Earth should hopefully deter some of the insects that are taking the odd bite out of some of my plants leaves. I suspect grasshoppers are the culprit and I know that they do not like the DE. The Cookies plant is looking really healthy and as you can see from the above pics I topped her to make the plant bushier. Had some issues this week with humidity. We had a lot of rain for 24 hours and the humidity outside went up to 80%. With that my tent went up to 70% humidity for about 14 hours and then dropped down to 65% and stayed there for almost 2 days. Doesn't look like it caused any issues but we well see. Now its looking like it's super close to crop time. Going to give it another 24 hours and take it from there. Just need to figure out what one we'll be coming down first, this one or my 4x4. Looks like this might be the last week for this girl. Was hoping to see more change in tricomes but not sure if worth the wait. Give it a few more days and see what the loop says.
