Another week in the books. About two more weeks to go and these ladies are looking fantastic. They have really expressed themselves in this pass week. Buds are rock solid dense I hope for a bit more bud development as far as size but if not the density definitely makes up for it. The Trichomes on each plant are becoming more and more pronounced each day. I am starting to see a fade happen olin all plant so harvest window is approaching. Aiming for day 70 ish harvest or slightly later.

Yesterday it rained the better part of the day, which provided over an inch of rain. Today, I went ahead and watered in the afternoon, but only gave the Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower approx. 5g of well water from the garden hose. 7/16- Our weather continues to be really hot with daytime temp's in the upper 90's Fahrenheit. If it does not rain I am watering everyday with 10g of well water. I will also be top dressing the Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower next week in anticipation of her transitioning into flower! 7/18- Another week gone by and more tremendous growth from the FastBuds Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower which has me more excited about this strain than ever. Hi Gromie's Welcome to my Experimental & tent filler grow. 2 Orange sherbet FF FASTBUD CLONES that were left over when transplanting my current other FF FASTBUD clones into final 15 ltr pots. Originally had 4 left over however due to my mistreatment & lazyness at the time, only feeding/watering every 3 to 4 days, which caused slowed growth, the other 2 died & these 2 were brought back from the brink of death! Picture of them in white container next to current flower run. Transplanted from small pots into net pots, plant#1 had 1 small root protruding from pot, #2 had 1 little main root not even growing out of pot! Put them into 15 ltr Dwc pots running 2 airlines & stones per plant to give plenty of oxygen & help combat any root issues & quick growth. Hot temps as it's summer rising the same temps as environment inside tent. Have been placing frozen water bottles into pots to reduce temps. Add 2 frozen bottles per pot, reduced temps right down to around 17°c. Change bottles out twice a day. Temps slowly rise over extended period until ice melts. Experimenting with different training methods, lst ,hst Mainly super croping. Have been Hst bending, pinching stems & roughing them up.which causes the stems to grow stronger, repairing themselves along the way as well as the hst bending, I also go around & pinch/ squash the stems every few inches which really strengthens the stems & branches! In fact I've done no tying down! I've managed to create a flat table top canopy with out tying down to hold shape. Super crop them over, they grow strong stems & hold that shape, as they grow out they always start to grow back up towards the light & I continue the process of bending, pinching & damaging stems so they grow strong & hold shape by them selves. Going well & it doesn't seem to slow them down much at all, given I grow perpetually using separate veg & Flower tents makes it impossible to train through scrog net in veg! Trying to train an established plant through a scrog can be difficult & easy to damage or break branches . However I like the benefits off scrogging so looked at a way to make it easier to scrog already veged plants. This is the training methods I've come up with, taking & incorporating established training methods of various soughts to create plants with flat table top canopy. That way when moved to flower tent I can just lower scrog net over the top of plants to hold them in that shape & train through the net as they go through flowering stretch, making it a lot easier! I've come up with a name for it & I'm calling it the pre scrog ! Method of training. In fact it seems to be going so good that the plan is to see if I can scrog them without a scrog net as they are holding that table top canopy shape & have super strong stems that are solid as a rock, can't squeeze or pinch repaired stems, they are super strong, holding shape & should be able to support the weight of the buds, lower growth already lolliepoped as I don't see the point growing that lower growth out just to lolliepop it & remove it once in flower. It's similar to why I grow relatively short plants when scrogging. I see some growers growing 2 to 4 foot plants which take longer to veg only to lolliepop & remove bottom half to 3/4 of the growth, so you end up with 2 foot of bare lolliepoped stems & branches under canopy? Each to their own/I guess. I grow mine around a foot before putting into flower so there's between 20 to 30 cm of lolliepoped stems under the canopy & a foot or 2 trained through scrog net & above .

Day 79 since seed touched soil. Like half of light is ocupied by this beauty. Mars Hydro TSL2000 is giving her all sun substitution needed . Neighbors started to put heating on, so i have heat issues again, temps go between 26 and 30 most. Hopefully terp wont overcook. Nights 19-20. Smell is strong, have flue, still can smell them :))) In plans 10-14 days more, but maybe ill chop in 7 ;)))) Day 83. Made video about last watering, tried to show great light, but no space at all, girls too tall for setup. 4 days left and i chop everything. Happy Growing !!!

2025-10-15 2025-10-15 The Shaman was cut today. It's always bittersweet for me when it's time for harvest. Like every time I've grown her, I had so much fun and joy—just looking at her brought me happiness. SHAMAN is a keeper in my outdoor genetics. She is easy to grow from start to harvest, always a pleasure. Despite the fact that this year she took longer to mature, I can't blame the genetics—all my outdoor plants were 3-4 weeks later this year. It was simply the conditions. Let's talk about conditions: The soil bed is prepared in autumn the year before and refreshed in springtime, so the plant always has at least 60 cm of deep, nice, and fluffy enriched soil base filled with microorganisms, microbacteria, and mycorrhizae. The roof is the most important part. This year I added 2 SCROGS—that was great! She stayed stable during heavy wind and rain and kept on shining after the storms. I'm very pleased with the outdoor season overall, despite a very cold and wet spring and summer with only short periods of hot and sunny weather. The girls in my garden didn't care and kept growing and blooming until the last day. Thank you @DutchPassion_Official for the seeds—I still have 2 left for next year. They are all showing sex and doing really well. Hoping with what we learned in our first grow that these three ladies end up with nice big firm buds. Based on their structure thus far I think these ladies have real promise.

She's getting stronger and stronger, 3 main colas it seems and one of them split again on the top. Looking really good, hope for a XXL harvest :)

Final day of veg flipping the flower today I’m excited to see how these tests go I have lots of hope for the ones and I may only create s1’s

Pretty good week for the stretching. Even thou my tank had some problems (I believe biobizz is not meant for tanks), the ladies are thriving. Changed to my trusted brand of base nutrients, green planet nutrients. This time trying medi one. Hope my grow shop will continue bringing green planet, it is a bummer they might stop importing it. Plant 4 accidental mainlining after breaking the two main tops training before switching to flower. I can see the how awesome is Sanlight led evo for this tent, ladies are all even and love the overall environment of the budbox and the lights. Noticing a huge difference in nutrient consumption compared with hps. Drinking way less. Overall excited and happy of this grow, couple of little problems trying organic base nutrients, but that’s how we learn, right?

After toping the plant I started a Main-line technique to build the plant outward and aim to develop 16 main stems prior to flowering stage. I do not see any major genetic issues with this plant. She Has had a few deformed fan leaves and one of the 4 main-lines grew a node from a node. This was not going to be used in my training technique plan so I have since removed it. watering has stepping up to 28oz of distilled water pH balanced to 6.0~ (no higher than 6.5pH) I will also begin feeding the plant using the General Hydroponics Flora Series products. I don't think I'll need Cal-Mag so I'm watching closely for signs of deficiency before I opt in to purchase the nutrient.

Well day 63 in flower and still maybe only 25% red hairs. 022320 - day 68 flower, still 50% white hairs, almost time to start watching trichs 😁.

Week 3 - Should see a lot of growth this week. Maybe try to train them a little this weekend. I kept the one girl a little too wet for a little too long and got some yellowing on the bottom leaves. Already starting to correct itself. I’ll give them a few days to dry out a little and adjust to their new digs then I’ll hit them with some nutrients… FoxFarms Dirty Dozen week 3 scheduled feeding at half strength. Day 17 - fed/watered 1/2gal per pot. Ph’ed @ 6.3 Day 19 - watered with carbon filtered tap water (forgot to ph. So ph was 6.9. The soil itself is pretty acidic, so the runoff ph still tested at 6.3. And we’re 12 hours in now with no adverse effects). Gave them about a gallon each (till I saw about 10% runoff). Day 20 - moved the lights from being hung directly from the tent frame to hanging on a hoist. This lowered them about 4”, which increased the temp to 82, so I turned on the exhaust fan to bring it back down to 77. In a small tent like this, atmosphere control is most of the work

People of the ganja world, here we are, he second plant has gone down, we apologise to anyone affected by PTSD from the two towers, it was not our intention to harm you with the similarity. Our Buddy Buddha from the start to the end lived its life next to Powell, they were close! Now that the final curtain has been drawn.. or tent flap, it is with a sad heart that we at the "In the Closet with Two Strains" Studio will be saying goodbye. She was never the most impressive plant, kept feeling like she would bloom more but the conditions were never truly right for her. Both plants had their branches sliced at the stem and large leaves removed, this purposely slowed drying down to maximise end flavour. They were both washed in cleaning pools to prepare them for their final journey in the tent. With a sad heart we wish you farewell Buddy, we will see you and Powell soon... IN OUR SMOKE REPORT!
