Had the light way to far away and i also dimed it. It made her stretch a lot. Most of the stretch is under the clay balls things. So what to remember is that i need to hang the lights closer next time. Roots also started to peek out underneath the net.

As mentioned in the last entry I've repotted the Sticky Broccoli, the roots base is well established and healthy looking. The new pot is filled with the same Royal Mix Plagron Soil and pre humidfied the soil with a water and Power roots mix containing ratio of 1ml/L. Update 25/01: Added pictures after topping

Hola y bienvenidos cultivadores de marihuana, la semana de corte está aquí después de 15 semanas desde semilla y 10 de floración, esta es una cepa auto floreciente con dominancia sativa que no ha defraudado.💁‍♂️🌲 He cultivado esta planta con atención y esmero, ataduras LST en las ramas y el tallo, en una maceta air-pot de 6l, con una mezcla de sustratos ligeros y minerales, sustrato activado con microbiología autóctona recogida en los bosques vírgenes de mi región y la he regado siempre con agua estructurada de manantial de montaña. La he alimentado con macro y micro nutrientes solubles, creados con fermentados anaeróbicos e hidrolizados propios, creados con Microbiología, elementos orgánicos y minerales, mantengo mucha y buena luz en las carpas de cultivo, cultivo esta planta con 10h de luz interior, más otras 10 horas de luz exterior y cuatro de sueño, esta planta siempre ha usado sombrero (mulch), con mucha materia seca para dar de comer a la microbiología y mantener niveles de humedad óptimos en superficie, para facilitar la creación de raíces adventicias desde el primer centímetro de tierra.... 💧🌞👨‍🌾 todo para conseguir un pastel de bodas, digno de reyes! 🤴👸 Pensaba que el cultivo podía durar una semana más, pero en los últimos días la planta mostró que estaba madura, no he querido esperar más, pues necesitaba el ESPACIO para reorganizar mis carpas de cara a la nueva temporada de cultivos, que comenzaré en otoño, y mucho TIEMPO libre este verano para perderlo porro a porro! 🤷‍♂️ - Esta planta con dominancia sativa, y se notaba mucho por el grosor de las hojas, no se ha visto afectada por la araña roja que en mayor o menor medida ha atacado a todos mis otros cultivos, ha demostrado mucha resistencia! 🌲 - Las colas son enormes, densas y pegajosas, con muchas hojas de azúcar, el olor es apestoso, ha sido la cepa auto floreciente con el aroma más intenso, olores a menta, bosque y frutas ácidas. - He tenido poco desperdicio después de hacerle la manicura a los cogollos, va a ser una producción decente, contando la pequeña maceta y el tiempo de cultivo. - Como me ocurre con frecuencia la etapa de floración se ha alargado bastante con respecto a las indicaciones del productor, pero como estoy acostumbrado a foto periódicas se me ha hecho un tiempo de cultivo corto. Actualmente la planta está en proceso de secado, con humedad y temperatura controladas, en una semana la pasaré a los botes de curado y en ese momento fumaré los primeros porros para hacer la valoración avanzada de la cosecha. A falta de probar el resultado de las 3 cepas auto florecientes que he cortado esta semana, creo que voy a reservar este tipo de cepas para cultivarlas a principios de Abril, y así aprovechar las horas de luz exterior, con el fin de ahorrar costes de producción, pues estas cepas necesitan muchas horas de luz para conseguir una producción decente y cada vez está más cara la factura de la luz eléctrica. This plant is problematic. First of all, the Calcium deficiency is back whereas I feed her correctly and her siblings (GBK+OGK) don't suffer from this, so I assume she doesn't like the light as much as the other strains do, and she probably had too much light for the last weeks so I raised the plant-to-lamp distance, this should slow down her cal+mag consumption, let's see how this goes. Secondly, she stopped stretching, she will remain a short plant, and considering the number of colas on the manifold I built, things will become tricky. I'm already afraid of mold during late flowering, but I will keep a close eye on her and may remove some colas if she doesn't get enough air. Finally, she doesn't drink a lot. I'm a bit confused since I did proceeded to seedling selection and gave her good cares and much love. Wait and see, hopefully she will give some tasty frosty buds 😎 Thanks for stopping by!

*Week 4 Flowering 09/17* Blimburn - Apple Fritter (1) - 47 Inches Seedsman - Crititcal +2.0 (1) - 47 Inches Thus far no issues or concerns - Both plants are growing accordingly and are growing vigorously, Bud-sites are coming in heavy. Still growing in length. *Week 4 Flowering End of Week 09/23* Both Apple Fritter/Critical+2.0 have appeared to stop growing in length but have expanded in width in regards to the bud site development. Bud sites are blooming accordingly and trichome development seems to be coming along nicely as well. Day 29 – Holding Strong Indoors While Awaiting the Sun After two bright and sunny weeks, the UK weather has taken a turn—temperatures have dropped and grey skies have taken over. For the second day in a row, the plant has remained indoors on the windowsill, patiently waiting for the return of warm, sunny conditions. Despite the limited direct sunlight, the plant is showing steady vertical growth and structural development. The inter-nodal shoots are beginning to stretch confidently, and the canopy is broadening out with healthy fan leaves. It’s clear that the root zone is well-established, as no wilting signs appear and the medium remains nicely moist—no need to water for now. While it may seem like a temporary pause in outdoor activity, this rest indoors is helping the plant conserve energy and avoid potential stress from fluctuating cold and wet conditions. Once the weather stabilises again, it’ll be back to soaking up real sunshine. Observations: Location: Indoors (windowsill) due to cool outdoor temps Temperature: Noticeably lower; unsuitable for outdoor stay Soil: Moist, no watering needed Growth: Internodes extending, foliage thickening Patience remains key, and this CBD Auto 20:1 continues to impress with its resilience. Day 32 – Stretching Skyward with the Sun After a few overcast days indoors, the sun is back—and so is our CBD Auto 20:1, basking once again in full-spectrum natural light! The shift outdoors today was met with bright, clear skies and a lovely warm breeze. The plant is thriving in these ideal spring conditions, showing confident vertical growth and a strong central stem that’s gaining both height and girth. The leaf spread is wide and lush, with healthy serrated edges catching the sun from every angle. What stands out now are the multiple lower branches developing evenly—clear signs that this plant is preparing for the flowering transition in the near future. It’s rewarding to witness how much energy the plant can absorb on days like this. The outdoor environment clearly encourages a more upright and assertive growth posture compared to the last couple of indoor days under diffused windowsill light. Observations: Light: Full sun exposure, ~7 hours direct sunlight expected Development: Lower branches maturing, stem thickening, leaf canopy expanding Mood: Energised, reaching, vibrant We’re now well into the vegetative peak, and the structure is shaping up beautifully. We’ve entered a new chapter—today marks the visible appearance of pistils, signalling the official start of flowering! This beautiful CBD Auto 20:1 from 420FastBuds.com has been developing steadily, and it’s been an exciting journey transitioning it from indoor windowsill care to full outdoor exposure. Last night’s rain disrupted my plans to leave the plant outside overnight, but perhaps that was a blessing in disguise—timing and adaptation still matter. Today, however, the sun is back in full swing, delivering strong warmth and excellent light. The super soil is doing its job wonderfully, holding moisture and nutrients efficiently. The plant is clearly enjoying the rhythm of nature. Growth has stretched upwards significantly since the last few days, and side branches are expanding too. Unlike in a tent where watering might happen every 1–2 days, this outdoor grow has taught me the art of patience—watering is done only when the soil truly dries out, which depends on weather, sun, wind, and positioning. Day 35 – Settling Under the Open Sky This CBD Auto 20:1 lady has now officially begun spending her nights outside under the open sky. So far, I haven’t felt the need to cover her, and she’s handling the shifting weather conditions with impressive resilience. Some nights are slightly cooler, but the days bring back that familiar warmth – and she clearly loves it. Her structure is becoming more defined, with side branches now fully visible and stretching confidently towards the light. Since she’s grown outdoors from the beginning, the natural rhythm of sun and wind has made her strong, well-adapted, and noticeably more robust than my previous indoor tent grows. It’s truly fascinating how dynamic and engaging outdoor growing can be. There’s a deeper connection to the process – monitoring the skies, respecting nature’s timing, and witnessing each subtle change. Plus, it’s certainly a more economical setup! The pistils are now popping with greater clarity, signalling the transition into flowering. It’s incredibly satisfying to watch her shift gears and get ready for her next stage of development. My super soil continues to do all the heavy lifting – no feeding schedule, just pH-balanced water when the topsoil is dry, which depends entirely on whether she’s basking outside or sitting in the shade indoors. I didn't give this one much attention,i must say. After a boerboel pup developed a taste for dank bud he decided to munch on a few of the storks🤣and with her doing better from the heat stress,i hope she puts out a bit more. Week 6 done,kept the ec @1550..+- 775ppm and ph @ 6.5 for this week.

🌌 Cosmic Noodles Week 8 From Seed (Week 4 Flower — 12/12 From Seed) ⸻ How Did We Get Here? These girls have been on 12/12 from seed. No veg phase. No long structural preparation. No topping cycles. No extended shaping. They expressed themselves naturally — and we simply guided them. We are calling this Week 4 Flower based on visible floral development, even though biologically it’s Week 8 from seed. Two phenotypes. Two structural expressions. Two approaches. And this week… two very different stories. ⸻ 👑 Plant #1 — “The Big Walla” (No Test) She is exactly what a healthy plant should look like under pressure: • Deep, lush green • Aggressive bud stacking • Strong apical dominance but with lateral competition • Defoliation response? Like nothing happened. • In and out of the studio — no stress expression • Structural integrity intact She had light low-stress training, nothing extreme. Just guidance. You can see in the time-lapse frames how robust she is. She’s not surviving the environment. She’s thriving in it. This is our control plant. ⸻ Plant #2 — The Overwatering Test (Autoflower) Now the real talk. This plant was intentionally overwatered. She was left sitting in runoff water for approximately 36 hours. Immediate reaction. Within that window: • Drooping leaves • Loss of turgor pressure • Slowed metabolism • Oxygen deprivation at root zone • Visual stress expression This is what root hypoxia looks like. After 36 hours, we elevated her and drained everything. Now we’re seeing: • Necrotic leaf tissue • Some dead lower leaves • But… white pistils still pushing • Bud development continuing She’s stressed. But she’s not done. ⸻ 🌱 Why Overwatering Is Worse Than Underwatering Underwatering: • Roots search for moisture • Oxygen availability increases • Root mass expands • Enzymes help break down dead root matter • Temporary droop, usually reversible Overwatering: • Roots suffocate • Anaerobic conditions form • Microbial imbalance can develop • Nutrient uptake becomes impaired • Tissue death can occur Water fills pore spaces in soil. No air = no oxygen = no respiration. Roots breathe. When they can’t — the whole plant pays for it. And with an autoflower, recovery window is shorter. A photoperiod could be vegged longer to recover. An auto? Clock is ticking. ⸻ Environment — Playing on the Edge (But Controlled) Current room conditions: • Canopy Temp: ~28°C • RH: ~70% • CO₂: 1000+ ppm • PPFD: 800 → 1300 µmol/m²/s On paper, 28°C + 70% RH sounds high. But here’s the key: Massive Airflow We have: • Strong horizontal airflow • Vertical movement • Air exchange • Under-canopy circulation Airflow changes everything. ⸻ 🍃 Leaf VPD vs Room VPD Room VPD at 28°C / 70% RH is moderate-high humidity. But leaf temperature under strong light + airflow is often slightly higher than ambient. This increases transpiration. Add 1000+ ppm CO₂: • Stomata don’t need to open as wide • Photosynthesis rate increases • Plants tolerate higher humidity • Metabolic rate remains high This is why they’re thriving. We are pushing high PPFD — up to 1300 µmol in larger tops — but only where plant size can handle it. Smaller plants receive ~800 µmol. Light intensity is scaled to structure. ⸻ 💡 Lighting Strategy We are running: • Top lighting • Under-canopy lighting • End-of-day red (15 minutes) Let’s break this down. ⸻ 🔦 Under-Canopy Lighting — Why? Purpose: • Illuminate lower bud sites • Reduce larf • Stimulate lower photosynthesis • Improve uniformity • Reduce shading stress We are not trying to replace top light. We are supplementing energy where dense canopy blocks photons. It also improves airflow around lower sites because buds stay active and not shaded/degrading. ⸻ 🔴 End-of-Day Red (15 Minutes After Lights Off) We run 15 minutes of red spectrum at lights-off. Why? Phytochrome manipulation. Plants have two main light-sensitive phytochrome states: • Pr (red-absorbing) • Pfr (far-red absorbing) Red light converts phytochrome into its active Pfr state. When lights go off, Pfr slowly converts back to Pr in darkness. By giving a short red pulse: • We influence phytochrome equilibrium • Potentially enhance flowering signaling • Encourage elongation control • Improve transition consistency It does not extend photoperiod. It manipulates light signaling. We are experimenting — not claiming magic. But we document everything. ⸻ 🌱 EC & Feeding Soil EC: 0.9 Feed EC: 2.4 This tells us: They are eating aggressively. If runoff EC stays stable and doesn’t climb, we maintain feed strength. High metabolic demand requires high input. But we monitor carefully. If soil EC begins rising? We adjust immediately. ⸻ Structural Differences Plant #1: • Slight LST • Strong lateral competition • Dense but controlled canopy Plant #2: • Some training • More natural expression • Slightly smoother, smaller phenotype Even genetics within the same strain express differently. And that’s the beauty of 12/12 from seed. . 🌱 Tag 21 – Eine Woche voller Experimente Drei Wochen alt. Eigentlich der Zeitpunkt, an dem junge Pflanzen einfach gemütlich wachsen, Wurzeln bilden und jeden Tag ein bisschen größer werden. In unserem Fall wurde daraus allerdings eine kleine Wissenschaftsshow mit mehreren unerwarteten Wendungen. Die Woche begann mit unserer ersten Düngung. Für uns war das Neuland und für unseren Gärtner offenbar auch. Nach vielen Jahren mit organischem Dünger musste er erst lernen, dass mineralische Nährstoffe nicht erst gemütlich auf ihre Freigabe warten, sondern sofort verfügbar sind. Das führte dazu, dass wir etwas früher gefüttert wurden, als es eigentlich nötig gewesen wäre. Zusätzlich gab es noch ein paar weitere Überraschungen: Der pH-Wert lief zeitweise nicht ganz wie geplant. 📦 Statt pH- wurde versehentlich pH+ geliefert. 🔄 Bei der ersten Nährstoffmischung wurden Grow A und Bloom A vertauscht. 🌱 Die Düngung begann etwas früher als optimal. Man könnte sagen, unser Gärtner hat diese Woche sehr viel gelernt. Wir Pflanzen nennen das lieber „praktische Feldforschung“. Zum Glück blieb es bei kleineren Problemen. Zwar waren wir zwischenzeitlich nicht immer ganz begeistert von den Mischungen im Tank, aber insgesamt konnten wir weiter wachsen und neue Blätter bilden. Wirklich dramatisch wurde es nie. Unser Wassertank lief die ganze Woche durchgehend. Da er allerdings mehrfach neu angesetzt wurde, weiß inzwischen niemand mehr so genau, wie viel Wasser wir tatsächlich verbraucht haben. Die Buchhaltung wurde wohl von einer Zimmerpflanze geführt. Folgende Nährstoffe kamen diese Woche zum Einsatz: Bittersalz: 0,5 g/L 🌿 Grow A + B ? Silica ⚡ Multi Total Für die nächste Mischung wird das Bittersalz bereits auf 0,3 g/L reduziert. Wieder etwas dazugelernt. Nicht ganz ohne Zwischenfälle verlief die Woche für Pflanze #2. Bei einer kleinen Pflegeaktion wurde einer ihrer Triebe versehentlich angeknackst. Für einen kurzen Moment sah es so aus, als hätte sie beschlossen, den Dienst zu quittieren. Zum Glück stellte sich der Schaden als weniger schlimm heraus als zunächst befürchtet. Der Trieb blieb erhalten und kämpft sich weiter durch. Pflanzen sind manchmal erstaunlich widerstandsfähig. Während Menschen bei kleinen Verletzungen häufig erst einmal das Internet nach ihren Symptomen durchsuchen, reparieren wir einfach unser Gewebe und wachsen weiter. Trotz aller kleinen Stolpersteine wachsen wir weiterhin ordentlich weiter. Unsere Blätter werden größer, unsere Stämme kräftiger und unter der Erde arbeiten die Wurzeln vermutlich längst an ihrem eigenen Ausbauprojekt. Im Vergleich zur letzten Woche sehen wir inzwischen deutlich erwachsener aus. Noch sind wir jung, aber langsam entwickeln wir uns zu richtigen Pflanzen und nicht mehr nur zu besonders ehrgeizigen Keimlingen. Nächste Woche hoffen wir auf etwas weniger Experimente im Nährstofftank und etwas mehr Routine. Andererseits wäre das Leben als Pflanze vielleicht auch langweilig, wenn immer alles perfekt laufen würde. 🌿 👨‍🌾 Gärtner: Diese Woche lief nicht alles nach Plan, aber dafür habe ich wahrscheinlich mehr gelernt als in den ersten beiden Wochen zusammen. Der größte Unterschied zu meinen bisherigen Grows war der Wechsel von organischem auf mineralischen Dünger. Beim nächsten Durchgang werde ich deutlich später mit der Düngung beginnen, vermutlich erst Ende Woche 3. Die größte Erkenntnis war, wie schnell mineralische Nährstoffe wirken und wie wichtig ein sauber eingestellter pH-Wert ist. Mit organischem Dünger hatte ich viele dieser Effekte nie direkt bemerkt, weil die Nährstoffe deutlich langsamer verfügbar werden. Zusätzlich sorgte eine falsche Lieferung für etwas Chaos. Statt pH- kam zunächst pH+ an, wodurch die Wasseraufbereitung deutlich komplizierter wurde als geplant. Inzwischen ist das Problem aber gelöst und zukünftige Mischungen sollten deutlich entspannter verlaufen. Fehler gehören dazu, besonders wenn man neue Methoden ausprobiert. Wichtig ist am Ende, daraus zu lernen und die Pflanzen genau zu beobachten. Bisher haben sie mir zum Glück alle Fehler teils verziehen. 🌱 p.s. neue LST Haken!
