The size of the colas on this plant is unbelievable. 8 to 10 inches long and as big around as a soda can. 20-30 days left and this dank beast is gonna be heavy!

Week 6 Veg Report – Runtz We Meet Again! Another week, another step forward in our Eternity Grow Cup 2025 journey, and oh boy, do we have a lot to unpack! Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. This method allows for gentle manipulation of the plant’s growth without causing major stress. Once we introduce the SCROG (Screen of Green) net, this training will help maximize the canopy spread. Moving to the TrolMaster Ecosystem – A Game Changer Big move this week—our Runtz girls officially transitioned into the TrolMaster Ecosystem, and let me tell you, they are absolutely loving it! Maximizing her before flower this would be my final layout before flower…love how she is turning out

We have made it to the end of Week 6. Conditions in the tent have improved DRAMATICALLY. The heat wave has finally passed and the temperature has finally leveled out. Not only that, the super weird monsoon weather that we were having has also passed and now the humidity is not rising above 60%. This turn for the best is really showing and also fixing the pH problem I had also probably helped a lot. The color of the buds is really coming through now. They are showing lots of light blues and a little orange and I am loving it. I am planning on pushing the nutrients a little higher these next two weeks, around 750-850 PPM. Hoping to give them a larger shot of overdrive to keep them pushing these last 2 or 3 weeks. Overall I am SO excited for this plant, I can't wait to see what her harvest will bring!!!

Here we are, the 3 plants started flowering a little bit more than two weeks after the 12h/12h switch 😎 The Jack Herer is yellowing a bit but I started to use some Bio-Bloom, I hope it will help. I reduced the dehumidifier setpoint to 45%. With this setting, the humidity near the plants stays between 40 and 50%. Sometimes, I slightly open the room window to help to decrease the humidity. I have some arthropods called "Protaphorura" in my soil since the beginning of the grow. I didn't manage to take some pictures of them before now. First, because of the pot size, and then too many leaves. They also measure about 1mm long so it was not easy to get a correct shot. I always get some in my soil but from what I found on the internet and experienced, they are harmless. Smell is starting to increase

A beautiful structure to this plant and complemented nicely by its unique smell. Shaping up to carry some football sized colas, really excited about this harvest. Beastie Bloom and a sweetener is being used for the next few weks. Buds are packing on weight and hardeneing up!!!

Boom goes the stretch...the girls have just exploded! I wanted to see if Hortilux bulbs make that much of a difference over vivosun bulbs so I put one of each bulb in my reflectors and within the first two weeks the difference is astounding. The hortilux side is 15-20% bigger with much thicker stems. Other than humidity being hard to control with my 45 pint a day dehumidifier in the tent, everything is going as well as I hoped.

We’re making substantial progress now. The root and nutrient issues have evened out, and the new growth is looking strong and healthy. The net is starting to fill out nicely. I honestly didn’t expect it to be such a bumpy road coming from autoflowers that just let it rip from day one. This has been a very different — and very interesting — experience. I’ve definitely learned a lot, especially when it comes to watering and patience. Now it’s just a matter of seeing how long it takes to hit that 70–80% canopy fill before the flip.
