As mentioned before, I was traveling and let the plants do their own thing. This turned out to be the perfect test for a living soil grow. The only manual intervention was a friend adjusting the grow lights, something that can easily be automated in the future as well. The plants look absolutely fantastic. In the pictures and videos provided, they’ve already been trimmed a bit. My mistake for not documenting the true “sea of green” when I first opened the tent after three weeks. The biggest leaves were larger than my hand, it was ridiculous. I’ve honestly never seen anything like that in an indoor grow before. I’m back now and will continue with weekly updates. The next step is installing the SCROG net and switching the light schedule to 12/12. They’re more than ready to go into flower. Aside from using a bit of root juice at the very beginning, I haven’t added any fertilizer at all and the results speak for themselves. I can highly recommend everyone to try Brotanics living soil especially for beginners, lazy people or as add in for professional organic grower

So, now I consider the little ladies are entering the vegetation phase, leaves are getting bigger and they are more aesthetic now in relation to the stem, Still under the t5 light, the chocolate almost touching the lamp but no problem with that. Just put them inside of a card box, more warm and I think they react nicely to that :) maybe one more week and they're going to the 10L pots and under the 400w agrolite, and we reach the pure grow phase ;) . I think the marks on the chocolate leaves are dissapearing, she's doing it :) The spirit is on its way too, super healthy. Update 16/03 So! First feeding for the little ones. Actually I put 1ml in an half litre bottle and gave them just half bottle cause about 20% of water run out and I think that was pretty enough for now. I want to go slowly on nutrients to make sure they accept it well. Bye bye! Update 18/03 They are loving biogrow, no problems. The transplant day is coming, I need to find the best moment to do that.

This grow was pretty simple ! They went a total of 103 days from seed! Very trichomy dense buds with the smell of Berries vanilla and skunk ! This is a must try for you all Fastbuds has the greats!!!

Thank you to everyone for following this journey! The results were nuts. Honestly, I would've been happy with 40g dry as this is my first grow. I DEFINITELY did not expect this outcome which is insane. This gives me so much confidence in my future grows and appreciation for the companies whose products I used. So, now to the point - Dry weight - Top class buds - 176g, smaller buds - 32g, larf/leaves/scissor hash - 26g. To sum up - 208g of product you can smoke and 26g that'll go to edibles. First grow, 2x2 tent, 100w light, three-part fertilizer and cal mag - that's insane, especially because I was expecting nothing more than 60g and like I mentioned, I would've been happy with 40g. I even thought my scale was broken or something went wrong, I still can't believe I pulled 208g of bud. It took 117 days from seed to smoke - that's disregarding the cure. Seed to flower in 42 days. Flower to harvest in 61 days. 14 days drying. Thank you to FastBuds, I've sent them an email about the grow with some questions and got a speedy reply with some pointers towards the end of the flower. Also, I don't have anything to compare this grow with but I had 0 issues with pests which I was really happy about. I didn't have to spray anything on the plants, didn't have a single bug inside the tent. They mention on the website that NL is a very resilient strain so that might've been because of this specific strain. Spiderfarmer light did amazing too - 208g of bud from 100w light!. General Hydroponics did way better than I expected - there's so many companies with multiple bottles of nutrients that expect you to spend ridiculous amounts of money on their products while I got crazy results with just 3 basic bottles. Cal and Mag by Canna worked with no complaints. Takeaways - seems like the runoff pH doesn't matter in coco - I could be wrong but I struggled with coco pH from the very beginning. Regardless, the outcome speaks for itself. Maybe the harvest would've been even better with an optimal pH but in this particular grow, I don't think it mattered much. Before starting this grow I've done A LOT of research and it looks like it most definitely paid off! I was panicking at first because of the slow growth. The plant also had some leaf deformities and the color wasn't as green as I've expected it to be. It was stressful at first, I think especially because I was constantly comparing my grow to someone else's. This specific LST method where I kept rotating the main stem clockwise every day or two paid off as well. The canopy was relatively even and new tops grew crazy fast. The only thing left to do is to cure the bud. I had two 1.5L containers ready for cure/storing since I didn't expect to pull much but had to go acquire a few more "big boys" to fit all the product in, which is a good problem to have. I don't think that I'll be updating the cure here but the plan is to burp 2x/day for 15-30min each time for the first week and 1x/day for 15-30min the second week. After the first couple of weeks I won't be timing the burps. As of now, I've placed boveda 62% packs inside the containers to maintain a RH of at least 58% in the jars. About the Northern Lights strain - the smell hasn't fully returned yet post trim, but it smells like sweet fruits with a hint of black pepper. You can still smell a bit of pine/grass but I think that'll be gone after the cure. Buds are covered with trichomes, they shine like diamonds when you take a better look. Also, the buds look a little airy but are still really dense when pressed. The smoke - It's a tasty, relaxing high. I get why people describe it as night time smoke but for me personally, it grounds me a bit and I can enjoy it anytime. Also, it burns white ash :)) P.S. This is a lengthy diary but I hope that people can learn some stuff from my notes shall they read them! Thanks to everyone that followed the journey, showed support or just browsed through. ***Mar 28 Had to redo the reservoir a day early, she is drinking way too fast. I am going to need to make sure to top up the water level every single day now, to prevent it from drying out so fast (2 days, and its half empty!!!) I took away the Root Farms Base and doubled basically everything else. I did this because I feel like the stretch is finished, so I wanted to remove some of the nitrogen. PPM is at 2100 and Ph is at 6. She's starting to get little nugs! Not much of an ambient air smell yet, but the stem rub is very fragrant. The smell reminds me of a warm summer day by the pool, the smell of the fresh air mixed with bright flowers and lemon cut grass. A very beautiful, light, and energetic smell. Can't wait for it to finish, and wondering how the smell will evolve as flower continues. Did a root trim today as well, because it was getting a little crowded in the reservoir, now we are nice and tidy! (Hopefully wont need to do another until the end of flower but we will wait and see how it goes lol). She's filling out the tent a lot, I would say she at least doubled in size since the beginning of flower. ***Mar 30 No sign in trichomes yet, but she's starting to bulk up a little bit! Mostly just the top sites are bulking, but there is some development on some of the upper inner branches as well. ***Mar 31 2 full cups of water added to the reservoir today...! ._. Also down from 2100 to 1800 PPM, like what? I cannot get it to slow down, and I am almost worried I am not giving it enough, but, I mean, it's growing incredibly fast. Just from yesterday to today, the pistils are POPPING like mad, and I even had to do some leaf tucking (and take the top 2 fan leaves covering the inside, it's been a while since I've needed to do that!) All I can do is wait and monitor the PPM, and if it gets too close to 1000 before monday, I will add more nutes. She really acts like the more I give, the more she uses 😅 What an impressive strain. ***April 2 Topped up the reservoir, and made sure PPM and Ph were alright (1600ppm and 6.1ph). It almost looks like it stretched over night, and I had to raise the light up (it went from over 700-1000ppfd for the branches and tops, respectively, to around 500-700). I was going to add more nutrients, but it seems okay at 1600 for now, and now that it wont be getting such intense light, it wont be forced to drink more. I ended up cleaning out some more leafage around some over-layering spots, and also some inner nodes that weren't going to develop into anything other than shake. Got some close ups of the inner nodes, and a quick video showing the layout of the plant! It's amazing how big it's getting, it's already taking up the whole tent, and its only been 2 1/2 weeks since I threw her into flower! 😂 💪😁👌

Day 82. Its 81 day from seed touched soil ! If leaves would be healthier, i would run them at least one more week, but it is, what it is. They spent 24 hours in darkness and now its Trim Jail !!! ;))) Harvest Day ! Day 88. Tried bud from each, clearest weed straight from drying rack ! Only 3 feeds makes huge difference to harshness at the beggining. Still Queen is pure Tangie, can it be seed mistake ? ;))) Day 89. Boy i am f@ckingly surprised !!! Today 23/07/22 We are two days into week 5, never talked about nutrient or water’ problems I had some leaves with few yellow marks but very small one beside that I always saw my plants green and happy, here you can see the scrog I set up yesterday not sure if this will work better but I think will help the branches grow further from the others increasing the light they riceve! I made it myself I will order one for the next grown when I will get my grow box! The watermelon is already flowering but the northern light no so today I started feeding the plants with different preparations.. I kept on giving the grow booster with a bit of bloom booster and viceversa for the watermelon! If you have any tips anything you think I’m doing wrong or you see it’s not ok let me know I don’t grow in a box I grow between the curtains and my window so the environment wasn’t always the perfect one

Didn't get the potential. Very happy with the look of the finished product , so far I'll give this particular strain 9.3. In it's best stability this would be my go to phenotype cause of the overall potential and ratio. Very happy for it being my first auto grow experience now I'm hooked. Definitely would suggest this bad girl for a first time auto enthusiast and for the connoisseur . I've been looking into that Purple Lemonade by Fast Buds and very excited to purchase also that Black Berry cause they remind me of the Blue Dreams large flower to plant ratio. Día 29 Esta semana se ha seguido con una fertilización con una aumentando la dosis de 2 ml a 3ml.. la dosis indicada por el fabricante es de 5ml por litro, la en unos días subiremos la dosis según lo indiquen nuestras nenas. Se ve buena respuesta de las plantas a la poda apical, dentro de la semana instalare la malla scrog kanovi para guiar los brotes de manera uniforme y llenar la carpa. Fecha: 26 de marzo
