She was topped today, leaving enough nodes to make her a 8-shooter after I remove the 2 bottom shoots that can be kept for cloning, as those generally take root the best. She is already putting off a noticeable aroma in the tent, kind of a funky spicy smell at this point.

I’m starting the fifth week, and balancing humidity and temperature is becoming a bit challenging; it feels like I’m always slightly off on one of them. I applied a preventive antifungal treatment since the humidity has been a bit high. The buds have finished forming and are beginning to compact. Some leaves are still yellowing slightly. The smell is getting much stronger, and some pistils are already starting to turn brown.

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend and staying safe. Another great week for the ladies, as they are now about 2 weeks into flower, and the stretch is winding down. I am still feeding them silica, cal mag, and flower nutrients maxi bloom by GHE. I will start to add a PK booster this week. I also will be switching to light from V1 to F1 sometime this week, and also integrating the UV/IR bar into the light cycle later this week. I will run the UV/IR bar for approximately 30 minutes prior to lights off to get started. The 5X5 is really starting to fill up nicely, I am running two dehumidifiers outside of the tent and I am able to maintain around 50% RH in the tent during lights on, and around 55% RH with lights off. Still very happy with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 90% in the V1 cycle and will be transitioning to the F1 cycle later this week. Overall, the plants seem very happy and healthy. The temperature and humidity is significantly dropping so that helps keeping the tent cool and not overly humid. This is by far the best time of year to be flowering plants in my region. Day 1 (day I got plant) -Placed clone in cup of soil with bottom cut off in larger pot for easy future transplanting. (Pics. 1&2) -Cut 2 bottom fan leaves off -Sprayed leaves and soil with water Day 3 -noticed tiny white spots on some leaves. Looks like spider mites but probably not since I'm in a grow tent and I couldn't see evidence of mites under the leaves (UPDATE Day 5 I added a video of the white dots) Day 4 -Didnt get to see plant today. Received first watering to overflow of the smaller cup

This is a very easy plant to grow, in my case i had some problems the last 4 weeks with heat that i couldn't resolve. I have had temperatures around 34 degrees Celsius when my light has bean on and around 25 when off.

I always put them with a baggie over the cup to hold humidity. Works wonderfully. You should try it.

FBA 2025 turned Frostbanger was a fun grow in many ways. First, my friend gifted me the seed and I grew outside while she grew inside. It was fun to watch the plants grow in different settings and different growing methods. If you have been following me, then you know our weather has been crazy here. We have had lows of 50* and highs of 90*. We had a hail storm and lots and lots of rain. Today, I was. forced to take my Frostbanger down. I found a couple of buds rotting and it is supposed to rain for the next 4 days, so this grow has come to an end. But first, true to Frostbanger's description, "Just keep in mind, this strain’s dank, pungent odor is super strong—meaning a carbon filter is a must to mask the aroma in any grow room and she’ll make her presence known when grown outside" and boy did my backyard smell. Also, just like its name, it is a "trichome-studded beauty." Sticky, sticky, sticky. It also had a nice fruity smell, almost like a cantaloup. I like to wet trim, so I spent the past 2 days trimming. My wet bud weight is 102.19 ounces. Not A big harvest. Had to throw away some bud rot and I had to take this plant down early --But that is how a hail storm, cold weather, hot weather, Rain and more rain will effect a harvest. I'm happy to be somewhat successful. FYI: today's weather: It has rained 2.05 inches in the past 24 hours and expecting 1.6 inches in the next 24 hours.. I am pretty proud of Frostbanger's cola as it is 10 inches long and approximately 9 inches around. Wish I could have seen it with 2 more weeks of growth. I may not have the growing experience of others, but I am super happy with this grow and glad I could enter a contest. It was fun!

My hybrid is growing nicely .. Sorry i have not been posting data problems😂🤣😂 but she is coming along nicely.. Yes she is a hybrid lol

day71: she looks fine, we have 2 weeks more :) day72: 2500 ppm is a level that can be considered toxic for many species. This species exhibits a truly unusual feeding habit. Sometimes I get into trouble because it contradicts general feeding idea. But DWC cultivation is not something that can be done by old habbits or toughts. The plant clearly shows what it wants. 2500 ppm 5.8 stable. day73: She is happy I am too:D day74: She drunk 8lt. yesterday ppm raised to 3500 and ofcourse ph dropped to 4.7. I fixed it to 2200ppm and 5.8 ph. day75: so stable day76: without any drama :D

6/28/25 Transplanted into 3 gallon pot amended with dr earth 463 at 10 ml per gallon of soil and a couple handfuls of homemade worm castings. added mykos to the transplant hole for the roots. The roots on the black opium look really really nice and
